Tide Torroth walked into the bar and gave the other two occupants a glance over. They were elves or some species similar if Tide's memory served her correct. The scents roaming through the air told the Torroth that there were no other kin to her present. It was a shame. Grape had mentioned others being here but so far, Tide had found none.

Tide Torroth did not say a word to the other but rather the woman listened to what they were saying. She made her way over to a table and pulled out a chair slowly. Tide then sat herself down languidly. Each movement Tide made seemed to be calculated and odd, or just lazy.

Tide Torroth continued to listen to the conversation between the two males. They were speaking of Terrans; a race the Erutin was mimicking. They would never be able to tell that she was not a natural human. Tide folded her hands on the table and stared at the wall.

Tide Torroth suddenly stood up from her seat and walked back out of the bar.

Tide Torroth has followed Grape into the bar and sat down next to her. Tide hadn't said much since they left the ruins. She was, instead, watching her surrounding and attempting not to jump out at all the interesting things around her. Her Dark would not have approved. She rather have Tempest praise her rather than scorn her. Tide did not like making her Dark upset.

"Is Wing City always this empty?"

Tide Torroth nodded while glancing at Kyle who was sitting at the bar before turning her attention back onto Grape.

"Darks don't like their Lights coming here? I wonder what Tempest would say if she knew that I came here," Tide asked herself before folding her hands between her thighs. A familiar scent crossed her nose and the Erutin's attention was drawn away from Grape to Shepherd. Another one? Maybe Grape was right. Perhaps there were more Erutin in Wing City than Tide realized.

Tide Torroth felt her hand being grabbed and almost pulled it right back out of Grape's grasp. But, the Light resisted and just nodded. Why not meet a few more of her kin? It was lonely enough as it was without Tempest being around lately.

"Alright. I will go with you to say hello," Tide said with uncertainty.

Tide Torroth did not say a word but rather, just stood there watching Grape as she so easily greeted the other. A very faint smile was on Tide's face, however, which showed that she was pleased to be meeting another Erutin or at least being around another. He was an attractive erutin and Tide liked his smell but she was not about to admit such a thing.

“I would be happy to have you show me what you have learned so far. I have been on Terra for a long time but I am not familiar with Wing City,” Tide said while fidgeting with her fingers. She was nervous and it was obvious. Usually the Light was able to remain mostly unemotional like some Dark but now, now something prevented such a thing.

So, that was Spiral, Tide thought to herself and she nodded to the male Erutin. He was Grape’s Dark and now he was going to take her away from Tide, for the time being. Maybe she was going back to her mate.

“I don’t like the Belkans,” Tide said in her shy voice before pursing her lips together and moving her eyes to the floor.

Tide slowly made her way to the seat next to Shepherd and silently hoped that he did not mind that she sat with him.

“There is nothing being done. The First Dark is more Belkan than Erutin, and the First Light is too smitten with her non-Erutin mate, who is also a Belkan. There is no one to stand up for the wrongs being done to us through the annexation,” Tide said while folding her hands onto the counter top.

“But that is only what I hear and what my Dark has told me, who heard it from Dawn, a previous Duchess of the Erutin House.”

Tide’s hand flinched as if it were going to take Shepherd’s in order to comfort him but she resisted at the last moment. Her brow knitted together tightly and the erutin shook her head.

“I care about our culture, Shepherd. I want things to go back to the way they were. I don’t know what the senior officers are doing but perhaps I could ask my Dark to talk to Dawn or Dusk, maybe even Key or Lock,” Tide said before ordering herself something to drink.

“Well, now you know Grape and me, and it looked like you knew Spiral, maybe,” the Light said before giving a slight and brief smile. Tide could see that he was clearly upset and it made her sigh heavily. The Light knew that she should do something to cheer him up but Tide wasn’t sure of what to do.

“Do you want to play a game?”

“A game,” Tide said showing a little more emotion and an odd excitement glinting in her eyes. It wasn’t really a game and it was going to be very dangerous for the both of them, if Shepherd agreed.

She shifted in her seat and moved closer to Shepherd so Tide could whisper in his ear. Being that close to him made her blush.

“We could make ourselves look like Belkans and burn down the embassy?”

Tide slowly nodded and moved away from Shepherd. She was going to need the help of her Dark on this one. But, she hadn’t spoken to Tempest in a very long time. Would she come if her Light called for her? Of course she would, Tide chastised herself silently. Just because they spent a lot of time apart did not mean their bond was any lesser than others’.

“Okay, my Dark is a Medic and she will be glad to help. She hates the Belkans,” Tide continued to say in a whisper, “I’m not sure of what I will be good at but I can make really convincing forms. Maybe I could copy someone’s look?”

“Tempest is better at everything and she would be able to help you with … doing what needs to be done,” Tide said as the other man walked up to them. At his question, the female Light shook her head. Tide fell silent for a moment until she felt that it was safe again to speak about their ‘game’.

“Let me go see if Tempest will help us with our game, Shepherd, so we can plan out the rules a little better,” Tide said before standing and making way to a corner. She pulled out a communication device and attached it to her ear. It was several long minutes that Tide stood in the corner, speaking to her Dark.

Tide Torroth silently gasped and blushed as the Dark smiled at her and nodded her head. She took in a long breath to calm herself before she did or said something silly. Tempest would not want to be embarrassed around another Erutin.

"Alright then, we'll meet back up later on when we're all ready," Tempest said while throwing an arm around her Light. "This should prove to be an interesting night!"

They both stood there and watched Shepherd walk past them. Tempest was more open in the way that she looked at him but Tide was not. The light adverted her eyes and focused them on a painting of some Terran General from their history.

“He’s cute isn’t he, Tide,” Tempest asked.

“I s’pose,” the Light answered.

“You like him?”

“He’s … nice.”

“Ahh, I see,” the Dark said with a knowing smile. Silly Lights and their easy attachments to others. If the male proved worthy then perhaps Tempest would set something up between her Light and this Dark.

“Time to go play hide and seek, Tide.”

“Mhm.”

With that, they both left to go prepare for their move against the Belkans.

“Shepherd,” Tide asked as she entered into the bar. She had a rather disturbed look on her face after passing by some woman in red clothing just a few seconds ago. A shiver ran down her spine and Tide made note to stay away from whoever that was. The light didn’t like the scent she gave off.

Tide made her way over to the other two Erutin and smiled at them. She was a little more confident and more open in social situations since her Dark had come back to Terra, or at least on this side of Terra.

“Who is this, Shepherd, and are you ready?”

When Shepherd had smiled at her, Tide couldn’t help but to blush and fiddle with her hands. She was always so nervous around the male eruption but that was put off when she noticed how scared the male light was. Tide looked between Shepherd and the light cowering behind him before moving behind the Dark as well.

She wrapped her arms as much as she could around both eruption and began to purr for Sisal. It would calm him down, she hoped.

“Who is your Dark,” she asked politely and began to purr again while ignoring what was going on around them. In the few short days she had been there, Tide had already seen many things. They disturbed her but she was a reserved Light, not sheltered.
