Treia Bracken

A tall, lanky brown haired man who thinks fast but speaks less.

0 · 941 views · located in Wing City Lake: Beach

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by HitoriRaven

Description

Credits for pic go to curt. Great artist, cool guy. Also, he's cute. Tell him I said so. I'm also jacking his profile style for this.

Name:Treia Bracken (Treh-ya) (Obvious.)
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Species/Racial Origin: Human / Caucasian
Social Class/Community Status: Lower class, militant
Language: English, High school Spanish

Physical Description

5"10, 150 lbs, he is more or less the underweight beanpole you'd expect him to be. Treia has the common man's hazel-brown hair with matching eyes of the same colour. He likes to keep it long enough, but never past his eyebrows. That'd impair his vision and make him look emo, and that wasn't his thing. He has muscle, but not a lot, so he prefers the least amount of equipment possible. Treia tries to speak less when around people or situations he isn't familiar with, but is quite open with his friends.

He tends to wear a simple white undershirt and matching boxers when casual. Otherwise, he's probably in his uniform.

Skills/Talents: Thinks quickly. He hates studying and the like, but could probably do any educational work you asked of him. Just ask nicely.
Favourites/Likes: Smart people. Staying alive, enjoying life, staying in the background.
Most Hated/Dislikes: Stupidity, showing off, telling people what to do.
Fears: Large body of water.
Religion/Beliefs: Atheist
Sexual Preference/Experience/Values: Straight
Education/Special Training: High School Education, 2 years of college.
Place/Type of Residence: Military bunker
Occupation: Soldier

Treia was only lagging behind the other two slightly, as he had the most to run. As soon as he saw and heard Gabriel, he felt much better. "Well, if you're good enough to scream, we must be okay." He rushed into the room, exiting the compound similar to how he entered - with a half-assed dive.

He rolled out of the portal, a bit woozy but otherwise fine. He nodded to Kam, jogging to catch up with his friend. His arms were still lagging behind him.

While Bryanne probably wouldn't wake up, Treia was awake as soon as Kamala got out of his bed. Being a light sleeper was a curse and gift sometimes. He watched his friend head over to Rescha's bunk, holding back a smile.

He was already wearing his undershirt, but pulled on his uniform loosely. Walking over to the pair, he said, "Hey, loverboy. I'll be chaperoning this date."

"Close, but no cigar. Once I get my five hours of sleep, pretty much anything'll wake me up. That includes you, man." He winked at his friend, before slipping back to the bunk. He only grabbed a single pistol, as his left arm was now burnt in addition to being injured. His right was simply burnt, and they were both wrapped loosely.

He gave his friend a clap on the back at his return. "Relax, bro. I'll pretend I didn't hear anything. Just giving you guys some company. If I do hear anything, my mouth's shut."

He walked after Rescha, asking, "You need some help there, Res, or you all good?"

Man, Res sure had her panties in a bunch. Despite her uncommonly bad mood, Treia couldn't resist dropping a quip. "Well, I guess I'll shoot first. I'll give you too lovebirds some privacy." With that, he began waking toward some of the dummies, taking a position. He drew his pistol one-handed, but noticed something. "Dude, is that my shirt? Meh, guess they're all the same. No biggie." he tossed back, before firing a few off-target shots. "Damn."

Shots and swears simultaneously rang out as Treia found it was a lot harder to shoot one-handed than it was in the movies. "Fuck." Bang! "Fuck." Bang! "These guys aren't even moving!" His ears were still open, and found himself catching some words from their conversation. He would stay true to his promise, and not bring it up later if he did end up hearing something important.

Despite promising to himself, Treia couldn't help being curious, and he slowed his firing rate before responding. "No, dickbiscuit, I'm saying that I can't even hit them without them moving." As he ran out of his first magazine, he ejected it and walked bag towards the bag slowly, hoping to catch some of their conversation.

"Hahahahaha!" Treia couldn't hold back his laugh as he grabbed a new magazine and balanced it on the ground before slamming it home. "You just figure that out? I thought it was pretty obvious after initiation, ie, stupidity. And I was sure after those fucking bombs last mission. No surprise here." He had told Kam earlier - he was in for falling asleep during his test.

Treia blinked with surprise at hearing Rescha swear for the first time. So surprised, in fact, that Kam's rock grazed his cheek, leaving a long cut. He realized how insensitive he'd sounded. "I didn't it like that...I was just saying how it seemed pretty obvious. Kam, Res, you were both there. They sent the three of us, three...untrained and unprepared to go save a whole fuckload of slaves. Even besides that, there was the that fucker on the first mission. Sure, we won but it was obvious that the higher ups, if not Cap, didn't care about us. Don't even get me started on those countdown on placement bombs and the fucking electro-Nazi..." Treia suddenly sat down, feeling overwhelmed at having his suspicions confirmed. He suddenly burst out laughing again. "I don't wanna for either, man...but we're here and we probably are here to stay. Best learn to survive instead of bitch about it."

"Guessed." Treia corrected. "I guessed it, and now I know. But hey, six missions isn't THAT bad. We've already done a fourth, dude. We can survive. Let's just stay smart and stay alive." He was being quite serious here. "But to do that, it's more important that we don't kill each other before the guards do." As if to emphasize his point, he wiped away the blood streaming down his face.

"I won't say anything, but hell if the others haven't thought or figured it out also." He turned around to look at Kam before standing up. "I wouldn't be too harsh on Cap. He's in this too. I wouldn't be surprised if the fuckers above sent him on our later missions."

"Like I said, man. Let's stay alive, work together and come back." Treia returned to the range and began taking shots at bottles. "I know you're in a 'fuck the world' mood right now, but listen to me."

"Touche. But ask yourself. Do you really want Cap with us on a mission? I'd rather have him shouting shit at us from the background. Maybe it won't stop at six, but I'd rather be prepared for them than bitch and moan and get killed when they finally force us to go on one." Treia said, before sighing. "As much as I feel impassive about some people in our group, I'd rather them stay alive than die because we weren't being a goddamn team. That means not pissing off everyone, Kam. I know. Some of em are almost as douchey as me. Still."

He let out a laugh which sounded like a cough before unloading a whole clip towards the bottles. As three exploded into glass or plastic pieces, he spoke again. "I understand, Kam. But they sure as hell ain't letting us out, so we might as well be the most fucking effective suicide squad ever. Or..least effective, rather. I don't want to die either."

"You still plan on being a sniper, Res? I'd much prefer to have someone I know covering our backs." A quick glance to Rescha was given before Treia ejected another magazine and headed for the bag again.

He had come for the same reasons as Kam, because his family couldn't support his college and he was too lazy to get a scholarship. However, his far from stupid mind had analyzed the situation and decided this was the best way for all of them to get home alive.

Trying to lighten the mood, Treia cheerfully commented, "No, it's because you're blinded by love, loverboy. Best cool down." He then shrugged at his friend. "Sure, you don't need to get along but it lowers the chance of them pushing you into the line of fire by 'accident'." He twisted to face Rescha. "It's quite simple. You shoot them with the holey end." he said completely seriously, but gesturing for her to go over to him.

Treia wasn't the least bi offended by her declining his offer. He simply grinned, and said, "If you know how to use a gun then why ask Kam to teach you? Seems a bit redundant."

On a more serious note, he mentioned, "If you really have trouble shooting a gun at someone, we could probably get Cap to get a modded tranq pistol. If you're worried about killing them, that is."

He also noticed Patchi walking in and smirked at the man. "We're shooting targets. You wanna be mine?" Kam'a gesture was ignored. It was pretty common by now.

"Never shot before MY ASS. Kam, let me see." Treia ran over to his friend, and carefully looked at the shirt. He turned to Rescha. "Why didn't you tell us you could shoot like that? Patch is right, you SHOULD teach us." Finally, he glanced at Patch. "Take lessons from you? The last time I saw you shoot, bro was into the ground or point blank. I don't think so, man."

Treia glanced towards Kam before following his friend over. He wasn't quite as bad off about comforting others and placed a hand on her shoulder, if allowed. "Hey. You okay, Res? Was it too weird shooting the gun or something? You don't have to if you don't want to." Patch was indeed completely ignored and Seth stayed unnoticed, by Treia, at least.

Treia was ready to stop the impending fight, but Seth the Ruskie has stepped in and done it for him. With a grateful nod towards the man, he stepped in between Kam and Patch, dropping his gun and placing his one good hand in front of Patch's chest. He glared at his friend for starting the situation he desperately wanted to avoid. "Kam. Why don't you help Res back to the bunker." he said through gritted teeth. It wasn't a question, but an order.

He turned back to Patchi and Seth. "They're just gonna go cool off? What do you guys say we have a bit more practice, maybe even a shoot off? Don't tell me you're scared of losing to a one-armed man?" he grinned at them.

Treia was getting mad that he'd just been ignored, but for the sake of not aggravating the fight, he held it in. He almost pleaded Kam. "Dude, go after her. Just leave it. Now's not the time." With that, he picked up his gun again, and aimed it at Patchi's knee. "You. Shut the fuck up. Only I'm allowed to make fun of him like that. And what's up with you, fucking starting a fight? You're the fucking one who said we're a team and we should get past our problems? Get past your fucking problems or my bullet gets past your leg." He declined to mention his gun was empty.

"Is this really going to be poor me times? Learn to read the fucking mood, man." Treia bit back anger as he stumbled back, and holstered his gun. "If you really want people to be nice to you then start by fixing your mistakes. Even if you're the one who's been wronged, go apologize to him, hm? Be the bigger man you seem to fucking want to be. Otherwise, just keep bitching and moaning about how no one likes you. It's your own damn fault." Treia almost felt bad for Patchi, but he simply said what he felt, and just then he was pretty mad.

He stalked over to the bag Kam had brought and pocketed a few magazines. He returned over to Seth, and glanced at the man. "Hey. Can you shoot with one hand?"

"Erm...never mind, then. Have a good practice, Rus..Seth." Treia attempted to clap the man on the back, then grabbed Patch's pistol, tossing it into the back Kam had brought earlier. He shouldered the bag, and began walking back towards the bunker.

Unfortunately for Kam, Treia chose that moment to enter and block the door, ironically, with Kam's own bag. He figured it wouldn't have been good to leave ammo lying there, just in case. The sight that beheld him was a strange one. There was steam and water everywhere, and Rescha and Kam's faces were looking nice and beet-like. "What the FUCK has been going on in here?"

He didn't move from the door, having caught Kam's last few sentences. "And where the fuck are you gonna go? Anywhere? To kill yourself? I'm not moving from here, bro. Let's all sit down and calm the fuck down. That goes for both of you." Treia was almost as angry, being sick of all the fighting. He pointed at the middle of the floor. "I don't care if this was a fucking lover's spat. Sit."

Treia held his ground. Kam wasn't stronger then him, and he sure as hell wasn't bigger than him. However, he stepped aside, dropping the bag and kicking it away, the bottles inside rattling. "It ain't pathetic. You're that girl over there's best friend, man. I don't know what the fuck you guys said to each other, but I'm sure it's only because she l-" he choked on the word, and amended it, "--cares for you. Kinda like I do, only with less douche-ness. Look at that. You think she really doesn't want you around? Jesus, man. You need some glasses."

"If you wanna leave, then go. I won't stop you." Treia gave his friend a blank stare as he spoke. "If you think you're doing the right thing."
