Trinata

She is danger embodied, the power of the elements running through her veins.

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Alasund

Description

Image
Her, not her clothes.

Image
Her overcoat

Full Name:Trinna Nagata
Age:21
With a silver mane of hair falling down her back and sparkling blue eyes full of life, most wouldn't know the deadly fighter that she can be. She is, for all that laughter, quite well built. And do not mistake her friendliness for weakness.

Personality

Happy, bright, bubbly. She is almost always enjoying life. Except when she has to protect it. When she fights her eyes go flat, all the spark compressed into marbles. And she is one formidable fighter. Nature comes before humans as well, so anything against nature she will fight to the bitter end.

Equipment

Froid and Ignion: Pistols of Ice and Fire.
Image
Froid of Ice and Ignion of Fire. These mage pistols are polar opposites, useful in most cases because getting frozen then boiled in a short space of time can make things brittle, and easy to break, so they work in tandem.

Luc and Sere: Swords of Light and Darkness
Image
Both looking the same, so impossible to tell them apart, light and dark. Both have very different effects, and she can use one of them double handed or one in each hand.

Gaia: The balance of all
Image
The double bladed staff. Like all her other weaponry, it is infused with an element. Nature. Don't try fighting her in a forest when she's using this.
NOTE:Blades can be withdrawn into the staff, so it isn't an obvious weapon.

Nemisis: Avenger of Nature
Image
The Mage Gun. Nemisis is her ultimate weapon, one which can use any element, and fires with enough punch behind a bullet to break straight through most armourments. Without elemental infusion a bullet could go straight through a tank.

Her magic, which she doesn't know how to control properly, hence the weapons to channel it. If let loose it can destroy a full city in a matter of seconds.

History

Back before she can remember, when she was just a baby, he parents were killed. Why? Because they had what another wanted. So only through the forethought of her mother, who had hid her, she survived. But what would a baby do without parents? She would have died too, until she crawled off, and disappeared into the forest. There she played with forest spirits, Nymphs and Sprites, Dryads and Kami. They provided her with what she needed, and she grew up happy, never remembering her parents that had died because of her magical powers. And so the Forest became her father. And all nature her mother.

She grew up like that, but eventually the trees asked her to learn to fight, to protect them. So she learnt to explore her powers, delving deeper into what was untapped magic. She grew into it, and learnt to destroy things, to fight and win. She had one advantage in the fact that she had magic so powerful that it was only seen once in a thousand centuries. Then she grew too confident in her power, to sure that she was in control. And overstepped. She lost control just that little bit, and her magic went wild. Wild enough that it destroyed stretches of land, wiping it clean of all living beings. She was terrified. She would not touch the magic again. The forest soothed her, finally convincing her to risk one more work of magic, creation of a set of weaponry to channel her powers without risk that she would lose control. So she made her guns, and her swords. Gaia and Nemisis too. And then she was done, never to touch magic again, except with her weapons as barriers between her and her awesome power.

The forest chose then to take her in, to cocoon her inside itself, and slowly wipe away the memories and the terror. For the pain had dampened her spirit. The replaced them with memories slightly altered. She remembered that she would not use magic, but because it was a beast, that would devour her at any given chance. Her weapons were her safeguard, allowing her to use the consumer without the chance that it would get free. And a nameless fear. A fear of what would happen if it did. Then, and only then, it finally let her go, to protect nature once more. She would not know that thousands of years had passed, and any that may recognize her were long gone. Technology had sprung up as well. And space travel. Terra was no longer a secluded world. So she has been here for three years, protecting. And now she finally feels comfortable with the new technology. She is here to stay, and to protect that which cannot protect itself.

So begins...

Gaia rested in her hands as she watched Jason talk to the creature. The noticeable difference in ability to calm it down was the first apparent thing. He should've done it in the first place instead of knocking his knees together while she spoke. Her hand flexing on the Staff of Earth made it quite noticeable to Jason that she wasn't about to drop the attack unless given a very good reason.

"How could you possibly say you are more Forest's Chosen when you would destroy the forest without a second thought?" No longer was the tone threatening and dangerous, merely ironically humourous, The hand on Gaia gave away the feigned lighthearted tone, as it's tightening grip and the slight glow that indicated that it's magic channelling abilities were being charged.

Trinata nods. Her staff had dissipated into the air as green light. "I accept the apology." Her body slowly winding down from the tensity that it was at. "Did you know that you've been going around in circles?" She asks, her eyes slightly losing the stony quality to be replaced by inquisitive curiousity. The answer to this particular question had been bugging her, and a Demi-God's answer would clear things up.

Trinata glances at Jason, her eyebrow raised. This was proof of her theory that something was removing their memories. Something was making them not realise what was happening. "My friend here believes that you've been going in a circle." She merely comments, the threatening quality even leaking out of her stance. Not to say that she wasn't ready to fight on a moments notice, just that she wasn't about to attack the Demi-God.

Trinata's eyes narrowed again. Shouldn't he be relieved now that the possible danger was averted? Why was he suddenly on edge, suddenly tensed? She mentally shrugged, whatever was bothering him was something he had to deal with. It didn't involve her. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that she somehow felt as if this mission was important, she'd be going back to her forest right now. She gave no imput into the conversation as of this moment.

Trinata stayed passive, turning around with Jason and walking out with the Demi-God following them. "Well, that changed the pattern, didn't it?" She asks softly, her eyes actually glimmering with mischief. The thing that had been leading the Demi-Gods around in circles had been the one that orchastrated the damage to her forest, therefore it was now considered responsible.

"Yes." Her voice was flat once again. Flat in the kind that made you worried that she was about to maul something. There was danger dancing in her eyes as she replied. It was obvious who her annoyance at the Demi-God's had transfered to. "It's only a matter of who, and how."

Trinata stood a short ways off, her eyes closed as she felt the forest around her, once again comforting her and holding her in the safety of it's branches, those who have seen her would probably be somewhat surprised by the comfort she took from the leafy plants, but the forest had always been her home. She continued to use the trees to watch the Demi-God, she could watch with her eyes, but she wanted to keep as much of the comfort she could garner from the trees. She was, actually, insecure when outside her zone of control.

Trinata continued to lean against the tree, waiting until the Demi-god was out of sight before standing up and following, the Demi-God was interesting, and she wasn't going to let it have any chance of destroying her forest any time soon. She walked quickly, following the rather obvious to her tracks of Anya.

She frowned as she quickened her pace, slipping lithely through the forest with aid from the trees. This reminded her of what she'd thought somewhat of when she had been talking with Jason. A compelling to go somewhere, and then lose their memories. Was she about to find out the secret?...

Moving quickly to the door, Trinata stood aside it, her ears straining for even the odd word. Her eyes were narrowed as she attempted to find out the reason for this sudden visit from the Demi-God. "There's always a reason." She muttered. It was a line she knew by rote, a line that had been proven true again and again.

He had given Anya a map? This was interesting.... And Trinata wasn't content to sit listening to something that she couldn't understand. She grinned as she stood up, she was far far too impulsive. But, it got her results. Leaning against the doorframe, forming a right angle with the door, she pulled herself to leaning on the door frame from the inside, hoping that the arguement would stop either of them from noticing. Then she spoke in a friendly manner, "If you're going to have an arguement, at least make it understandable..."

She raised an eyebrow almost playfully. "Why am I here? Because I was dragged into something that I didn't know about, and if there's one thing I hate, it's not knowing. So of course I followed you." Her eyes quickly taking a check of the older man, she had to assess possible danger. And then work out how to deal with it if necessary.

She nods quietly to the farmer looking man before turning and striding out with Anya. "My problem is that I suspect no-one really knows the whole of what is going on, but collecting bits and pieces from everyone, you find the missing puzzle pieces." She replies to Anya, her mind going back to the past and then snapping back to reality. She had no time, nor inclination to browse her memories at this point. She didn't know that the memory binding spell had done this, a subtle binding it was.

She walked out comfortably, her hands in her pockets and no sign of danger from her. Trinata seemed in an amiable mood, which was rather an unusual thing for the forest guardian. She was usually a very hard person, but for once, she felt like there was no need for violence and pain.

"Jason has noticed that you and your kin usually go of the track that the map has between shrines. I personally think it may hold the answer to whats going on. What can you remember of it?" She asks, her eyes tilted, watching.

Trinata shrugs. "I do not know. Are you sure you come here, and only here?" The needling questions continue, there had to be something that was missing from this formula.

She frowns. This answer had left her once again at a dead end as to what this all meant. And it irked her. She liked to know what was going on. "So why do they lose their memories.... And where." She mutters, loud enough for Anya to hear, but certainly not intended so.

She frowns at Anya, waving her hand idly. "Just an idea, never mind." She passes off the comment laxly, intentionally trying to make it sound unimportant. How else could they have been following the great big circle that Jason had said they were?

"I see that." She nodded, before leaning back. "There's something missing in this puzzle, but I do not know what it is. I control the forest, I am one with the forest, and yet I've never felt a Demi-God afore this day. So why can I suddenly feel your kind enter my forest?"
