Trinata

She is danger embodied, the power of the elements running through her veins.

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Alasund

Description

Image
Her, not her clothes.

Image
Her overcoat

Full Name:Trinna Nagata
Age:21
With a silver mane of hair falling down her back and sparkling blue eyes full of life, most wouldn't know the deadly fighter that she can be. She is, for all that laughter, quite well built. And do not mistake her friendliness for weakness.

Personality

Happy, bright, bubbly. She is almost always enjoying life. Except when she has to protect it. When she fights her eyes go flat, all the spark compressed into marbles. And she is one formidable fighter. Nature comes before humans as well, so anything against nature she will fight to the bitter end.

Equipment

Froid and Ignion: Pistols of Ice and Fire.
Image
Froid of Ice and Ignion of Fire. These mage pistols are polar opposites, useful in most cases because getting frozen then boiled in a short space of time can make things brittle, and easy to break, so they work in tandem.

Luc and Sere: Swords of Light and Darkness
Image
Both looking the same, so impossible to tell them apart, light and dark. Both have very different effects, and she can use one of them double handed or one in each hand.

Gaia: The balance of all
Image
The double bladed staff. Like all her other weaponry, it is infused with an element. Nature. Don't try fighting her in a forest when she's using this.
NOTE:Blades can be withdrawn into the staff, so it isn't an obvious weapon.

Nemisis: Avenger of Nature
Image
The Mage Gun. Nemisis is her ultimate weapon, one which can use any element, and fires with enough punch behind a bullet to break straight through most armourments. Without elemental infusion a bullet could go straight through a tank.

Her magic, which she doesn't know how to control properly, hence the weapons to channel it. If let loose it can destroy a full city in a matter of seconds.

History

Back before she can remember, when she was just a baby, he parents were killed. Why? Because they had what another wanted. So only through the forethought of her mother, who had hid her, she survived. But what would a baby do without parents? She would have died too, until she crawled off, and disappeared into the forest. There she played with forest spirits, Nymphs and Sprites, Dryads and Kami. They provided her with what she needed, and she grew up happy, never remembering her parents that had died because of her magical powers. And so the Forest became her father. And all nature her mother.

She grew up like that, but eventually the trees asked her to learn to fight, to protect them. So she learnt to explore her powers, delving deeper into what was untapped magic. She grew into it, and learnt to destroy things, to fight and win. She had one advantage in the fact that she had magic so powerful that it was only seen once in a thousand centuries. Then she grew too confident in her power, to sure that she was in control. And overstepped. She lost control just that little bit, and her magic went wild. Wild enough that it destroyed stretches of land, wiping it clean of all living beings. She was terrified. She would not touch the magic again. The forest soothed her, finally convincing her to risk one more work of magic, creation of a set of weaponry to channel her powers without risk that she would lose control. So she made her guns, and her swords. Gaia and Nemisis too. And then she was done, never to touch magic again, except with her weapons as barriers between her and her awesome power.

The forest chose then to take her in, to cocoon her inside itself, and slowly wipe away the memories and the terror. For the pain had dampened her spirit. The replaced them with memories slightly altered. She remembered that she would not use magic, but because it was a beast, that would devour her at any given chance. Her weapons were her safeguard, allowing her to use the consumer without the chance that it would get free. And a nameless fear. A fear of what would happen if it did. Then, and only then, it finally let her go, to protect nature once more. She would not know that thousands of years had passed, and any that may recognize her were long gone. Technology had sprung up as well. And space travel. Terra was no longer a secluded world. So she has been here for three years, protecting. And now she finally feels comfortable with the new technology. She is here to stay, and to protect that which cannot protect itself.

So begins...

Trinata strolled in, watching all that went on inside. Her eyes were hard, and her cloak wrapped firmly about her. She found a booth to the side, out of the way, and ordered some orange juice...

Trinata sighed to herself, she always had trouble winding down after a battle, she really did. She shook her head as she waited for her drink to arrive. She noticed Christina looking at her, and gave an attempt at a grin. But her usually bright happy smile was rather dampened...

Trinata decided to give it up, she just wasn't smiling well, she sighed once again as the orange juice finally arrived. She needed the drink.

Her eyes watched the angelic and demonic presences in the bar, but would not get involved, her domain was nature and the elements, not the divine.

It was rather disconcerting for Trinata. She hadn't ever had someone bow to her... And this girl had merely seen her. She tried to muster some of her usual happy spirit, but failed misirably. "Hello." She says, before taking another gulp from the orange juice.

"Since your here, you might as well sit." Trinata says, still trying to get herself of the stony peak that combat set her on. Christina's observations were quite correct, but she was still mostly human.

Trinata finally shook most of the mood off, her eyes beginning to sparkle with the bubbly life that usually is contained in them. "So what are you doing in Gambits?" She asks, grabbing the floating glass and putting it down. She didn't say anything, but there almost seems to be a smile lingering around her mouth. "Most people come here for other reasons than to play with water." She adds, mischief joining other emotions floating around her eyes..

It always took a little while for her to finally still the battlemind, but to most people it would seem like a complete change, from stony to bright, happy and bubbly. Trinata was truly a two facetted person.

Trinata was tempted to lean in Liesha's line of thought, but only the demonic/angel part of the bar had gone insane.

She wondered about leaving, and why her comments had made Christina sad. Wondering as she watched.

Trinata waved to Iven as he left, and finished off her orange juice, and leaned back into the booth. Seemingly studying the girl opposite her. "You are an odd one." She mutters to herself, smiling.

Trinata stood stock still to the side, nature almost blending with her to make a very good camouflage. Her cloak almost green as it blended with the light playing off the leaves around her. The man had an unnatural aura, something unlike most she had encountered so far, and had distracted her from tending to the glen, cleaning and healing trampled plants and so on.

Now she stood, her task forgotten as she warily watching the newcomer. Why did he unnerve her so? She did not know, but sure as hell was she going to find out.

She began to move, slowly walking towards a tree. Knowing this is likely to get her noticed, she doesn't look at him any longer, but goes back to studying the plants and trees, trying to help them. Or, that is what she looks like she's doing.

Trinata pauses at another tree, beginning to heal it with her powers, granted her by the forest. It was interesting that he chose the dead tree to rest at. An interesting selection and an interesting person.

She smiled wryly to herself, any other tree and she would have been able to work out what he was by using the tree, but she only worked through the living flora and fauna. Dead trees did not listen to her. The power of him almost seemed ... like a god, in a way. Although she couldn't be sure. Well, there was only one way to find out, she grinned, moving back into the trees and circling around behind the tree, before popping out behind the resting man. "So mister, what'cha doing here?" She asks, her eyes dancing with their usual life.

She walked slowly through the glad, her usually bubbly demeanour troubled by the man that had just brushed her off so causually, the one with the godlike pressence. For some reason he troubled her, but she did not know what to do about it currently.

For now she would continue to walk, and tend to the plantlife around her. Cleaning, and fixing the trampled leaves. Tending to the injured trees and other flora and fauna. It was her job and duty, as much as protecting the forest was.

She paused, feeling a rather unnatural aura. Another one? She'd seen so many recently, it seemed the glassing she had protected the glade from had only caused so many people to come here. And she had no idea why.

She stood up, walking towards the source of the distrubance, her feet making no sound on the soft earth, her eyes alert as she searched for the newest odd aura. This one she could almost describe as a robot, but the aura wasn't right. No, she had to see this for herself.

She approached silently behind Conrad, attempting to walk right up to it before touching her/him on the shoulder. "So, why are you here?" She asks quietly, her emotions caught halfway between the happy bubbly ones and the cold solid battle ones.

Trinata withdrew her hand as she processed all she could. The voice even sounded like a robot, so why did the aura look so wrong? This kind of thing really got to her.

She narrowed her eyes, the young girl was rather odd. The voice was slightly off, and the nob was also odd. Well, she would deal with it. "As long as you respect nature, then I have no problems." She paused, as if weighing up her options, "I will be watching." She turns, as if to go. Her warning had been issued, the reason for being there, or as much as they would say, had been learned, the best thing to do now was as she had said, watch.

She paused. Nature serving a purpose? Her hand twitched, close to drawing Luc or Sere. This robot was not one that she would get on with at all. "I doubt you would have anything remotely interesting to talk to me about. And if it's useless data, then why record it?" Her voice had taken the flint hard aspect.

She disliked anyone who had such a callous view of nature, but to combine that with superiority complex? That was worse. And to hide all this in the programming of a robot underneath the outer shell of a robot in the shape of a small girl? Whoever designed this thing had a twisted sense of humour. And probably was quite twisted themselves. She stepped two steps back, away from the robot with the odd aura, still standing nearby but adding some distance.

She was taken offguard by this last sentance, and she moved back into the undergrowth to contemplate, to think this through. It seemed the robot wasn't quite as twisted as she'd thought. Either way, her job here was finished. It could record what it liked, as long as it didn't cross the line.

Once out of the robot's sight, she touched a tree, talking to it in a strange tongue, asking it to keep an eye on the robot, call her if it did something wrong. She had plants to heal, and nature to fix. The glassing of Terra had given her so much work.

Trinata's eyes flickered up from the foliage, something had touched the forest. No, something had toucher her forest. The smile that had been sitting on her face fades as her eyes take on a marble like quality. Her thoughts focused, somewhere to the northwards she could feel the screams of the trees, the injuries of her protectees. With hands on weapons, she plunged into the jungle-like forest, intent on finding the purpetrator.

She slipped through the undergrowth, where others snag on branches or cut their way through, she glided like the forest around her was intentionally aiding her passage. The purpetrator of the damage to her forest was closer now. She paused at a taller, twisted, gnarled oak. It was close by, she was sure of that. Sniffing the wind like a dog, she set off once more on the trail.

The beast was close-by, and not too intelligent either. She was even now being told exactly what it had done, wreaking havoc. Killing and destroying. She had to stop it, something like that couldn't be allowed to continue to have it's own way, especially not now.

She stepped quickly through the underbrush, the anger was sensed, but what caused such rage? Her hand slid to Froid, Ice to combat this for now. She took one deep breath before entering behind the individual, her hand clasping the handle of the gun, twisting to pull it out of the cloak that she wore. "Turn and face me, destroyer, so that your demise may be quicker." She didn't shout, but her voice seemed to ring through the sudden silence of the forest. She had barely spoken at normal volume. Her challenge to the twisted thing. It did not make her flinch.

Trinata flicked the safety off and fired Froid, her magical powers channelling through the gun to fire a bolt of ice. She didn't deign to answer the woman, she was the avenger of the forest, to do to it what it had done to the forest. Equality, the balance of life. The blast of Ice would be dangerous for the thorns, but Trinata did not expect it to do anything towards finishing it off. She pulled out Ignion as Froid fires again, Trinata circling slowly to the right as the shots speed towards the vine-creature.
