Trist is a (8 foot high, 5 foot wide) deranged, shapeshifting Frogman. What lies in his soul is power.
Personality: Trist gives the appearance of a very affable man at first, though this is not entirely the case. Although friendly and sociable, it soon becomes apparent that he is not what one would normally describe as a good person. Trist’s mental health is questionable, and he seems to display a decidedly loose grip on reality, though this may be a façade perpetrated to hide his true intentions. He acts purely in his own self-interest, and is rarely self-sacrificing unless he expects a long-term gain as a result of it. Despite Trists’ apparent hot-bloodedness, the long-term results of his so-called ‘out-bursts’ have been almost entirely to his benefit, suggesting that he is much more calculating than he lets on.
Equipment: Trist uses no external weaponry.
Abilities:
High Endurance and Strength: Being several hundred pounds of muscle, and having a vascuar system he has had hundreds of years to toy with and improve, Trist is naturally very endurant.
Moderate Shapeshifting: Trist can morph into a handful of human forms when he’s not fighting in order to blend in outside of the arena. However, he isn’t good at manipulating facial features, so he can’t mimic others with any real success. The real extent of his shapeshifting can be seen when he is in his true form, where he can switch between three radically different forms:
Unifying features: A white underbelly; shiny, translucent green skin; a long, powerful tongue, retractable claws and sharp white teeth;
1. Strength Form: Trist’s strongest form. With a huge upper-body and thicker legs used for jumping and standing his ground rather than running. He has massive, bony forearms in this form, and punches with huge amounts of force.
2. Speed Form: A much more human shaped form, and comparatively lithe, however Trist is actually 6’ 3” when his legs are fully extended, and his muscles are positioned differently than those of other humans. In this form, he can run at very high speeds, and is much more agile
3. Rubber Form: Trist’s third and most unpredictable form. Trist forms a second layer of skin, and a variety of ‘holes’ in that layer which he can open or close, he also forms a lung-like organ which allows him to inhale great quantities of air inbetween his skin layers, and then exhale them with great force. His limbs and skin also become greatly elastic, and his arms are extremely long, in contrast to his almost shrunken lower body. He is also capable of ‘shooting’ his arms out great distances, and delivering a punch then releasing a very high-power gust of wind out of his arm, to add to the force of it.
While these are the forms that Trist can most easily shape-shift into, he is capable of shifting into other forms, as well as making variations to these forms. (For example, developing protective scales on the underbelly of his strength form if he is particularly worried about taking damage.)
Trist can shift X basic tissue types, including
-Basic Flesh: Both normal human flesh and thicker, rubbery vaguely frog-like flesh.
-Hard: Not quite bone, but still very hard and durable, used as claws (and occasionally arm-lances)
-Semi-Hard: Durable, tough, but also fairly flexible tissue, not as strong as hard tissue, but allows versatility.
-Sinewy: Tight Muscle Tissue.
-Soft: Fairly weak, gooey tissue. Is used in odd situations, such as decreasing falling velocity, or smothering an opponent. Is very resistant to blunt damage (though VERY vulnerable to sharp damage), isn't very dense, and is very, very sticky.
Breathing Underwater: Self-Explanatory
Improved Sense of Scent and Slightly improved hearing: These abilities are also adapted to allow Trist to locate prey underwater.
Regenerative Powers: Trist's Regenerative abilities are rather odd, his digits and tongue regenerate very quickly, while his apendages regenerate fairly quick, while the rest of his body regenerates only slightly quicker than normal humans.
Landscaping: Trist has minor Aquamancing abilities and moderate Geomancing abilities. He is incapable of levtating either water or earth with his mind, but he excells in shifting the positions of either of these elements. He can quickly create a system of underground holes, or an underwater pool, and has a limited ability to create pillars of stone that rise above the ground. However, whenever Trist performs any extensive or quick landscape-shifting, he must first put his hand on the ground, which can warn observant opponents that he is about to make a move.
Trist may or may not be aware of his origins as a dream, or may believe that he truly is whatever myth he was created from is his true origin. However, the myth he was orriginally based off of and his long-term history are unknown, as he gives a different story whenever asked.
