Outside of Gambit's Bar, the vehicles had come to a screeching halt. Police officers in full riot uniform poured out from black vans. The sirens still blared wildly outside while the officers took post around the building.

"Mattias Walsh. Come out with your hands above your head!"

The police officers opened fire on the retreating criminal, orders being shouted from the chain of command. Seconds later, they piled back into their vehicles and gave chase to Mattias Walsh.

One of the Wing City's Police van flipped over onto its side, metal grating against the concrete in a horrific screech. The officers inside were tossed around carelessly, injuring a few. "Kids, that's why you always wear your damn helme—ARGH!" The man was caught up by Mattias Walsh, and killed. The others scurried out of the van, and opened fire on the flying criminal.

"Miles, bring out the big guns!"

"Yes sir!"

The man, Miles, pressed down on his riot helmet and ran up to an approaching van, hoping to sweet Jesus and Mother Mary's Tits that he was going to make it to the special weapons—weapons that could deal with this shit.

Miles felt as if he was suddenly flying, having been picked up by Mattias.

"Oh shit, shit, shit, shiiiit!" However, the sensation of flying was short lived as he was dropped when Mattias was struck with bullets. He crashed to the ground, tucked and rolled, then hide beneath the van he was supposed to obtain the anti-demon weapons. "Fuck! This is why you don't miss communion and confession! Fuck this shit!"

The other officers kept their ground and continued to fire what appeared to be harmless munitions at Mattias. At least they'd serve as a nice distraction for the time being.

The remaining officers slowly began to enclose on Mattias, their weapons still drawn even though knowing they would not do much if the criminal decided to change his mind about surrender. "Down on the ground! Face down on the ground," they yelled at him with aggressiveness.

Miles slowly slide out from beneath the van, and then propped himself up against it. He really had no idea what was going on anymore. Wing City was a curious place.

As soon as the chains began to wrap around Mattias, the other officers closed in on him even more. "Shut up and get down!"

"Yes ma'am," they said in unison to Subaru before taking Mattias into custody. They weren't too gentle with shoving him into an armored van. The Sergeant of Wing City walked over to Subaru with a large smile spread across his face. That smile soon disappeared with the situation of Miles, one of his best officers.

Miles looked up at the girl and nodded. Quickly he began to remove his gear but was soon knocked out cold for no apparent reason.

A team of two officers rushed over at Subaru's call and began to take Miles' vitals. Not too long after, they attempted to haul him up but it was useless. The man was lost. Scrambling up from being thrown on the ground, the Sergeant frowned and drew his sidearm.

"Sorry Miles, you were a good cop. I'll say hello to your wife and daughter and you'll get a good memorial. I promise, buddy," he said before shooting Miles in the head. WCPD could not take chances of a corrupt officer or reputation. And Wing City did not need another demon creature added to its ranks. It was policy.

The Sergeant shook hands with Subaru firmly and opened the van door for her, always the gentlemen when it came to women figures. "Well, then let's go get you fixed up and maybe I'll treat you to some dinner later." He even offered her a hand to help her up into the vehicle.

"I tell you what though, I know WCPD could use more people like you in the force. Maybe you can speak with our techs and we'll get something worked out. Us normal humans can only do so much against the Devil's creatures."

The Sergeant nodded and closed the door. They would discuss more about upgrading the WCPD's technology when they arrived at the station and got Subaru repaired.

Officer Bacon took out a little flip-notepad in order to take statements and made his way over to Daessee. "Did you witness the disturbance," he asked in a neutral tone while slipping a pend from a pocket. His finger clicked the end several times before he put it against a leaf of the pad. Dark eyes watched the woman and his brow never seemed to displace the arch in it.

Alyssa was intercepted by another patron and stopped her traverse over to the two suspects. She kept an eye on them both to the best of her ability. "I'll remind everyone that public intoxication is serious business. Next time there won't be a warning. You," she stated to the unknown person in front of her, "Get them home. Right now. I don't want to hear anymore trouble to day from any of you or I am arresting everyone, you got that?"

Officer Bacon looked over to Alyssa and flipped his notebook closed before walking back over to her without another word to the witness.

As soon as Taylor fell onto his ass, Alyssa was on top of him like white on rice in a snow storm. It was one thing to insult an officer of the law but another thing to insult a woman that was an officer of the law. She took it personally. Her hands were quick and Alyssa attempted to grab the man’s arm, reverse it, and pull up in order to create a ‘chicken wing’ which was always very painful if the suspect struggled against being held.

“Do not resist! You are being arrested! Down on the ground!”

Taylor’s arms might have come around the woman’s waist but he had forgotten about Officer Bacon. Not seconds after Taylor attempted to resist and then touch an officer of the law while in uniform, he was upon the man as well. With pistol in hand, Officer Bacon attempted to pistol whip Taylor in the back of his skull.

Alyssa meanwhile was re-situating herself and moving into a position that would allow her to press a knee painfully into the man’s back beneath her. It would also allow her to pin the man’s arms in the correct position in order to cuff him.

“Don’t move! You are under arrest by Wing City Police Department!”

Alyssa was suddenly grabbed from behind but Officer Bacon did well in his duties as a partner. The man lunged at the other woman—who had now become an accomplice in an officer assault case—and attempted to tackle her onto the ground.

Alyssa reached behind her and quickly cuffed Taylor. She was not kind in doing so either and may have purposefully tightened them to a great degree. The woman rose up with the man, holding him in her strong grip. He was going nowhere aside form the back of the squad car.

There was no round chambered in Bacon’s weapon as it was against policy regarding to Weapon Negligence.

“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law,” Alyssa said, reciting the Miranda Rights to Taylor as she began to escort him out. She said nothing to the man that approached her. If he wanted to intervene, he could post bail at the courthouse.
