Setting
Fuchsia City is a humbly populated place in the southern part of the Kanto mainland consisting of a Pokémon zoo featuring many Pokémon including some that are rumored to be extinct, the Kanto Safari Zone where the art of catching Pokémon without using Pokémon is practiced, human residences, and the Fuchsia Gym. The gym is currently run by Janine, a female poison type specialist that assumed the throne after her father Koga left to become one of the Elite Four, and her band of ninja trainers that practice the art of disguise by imitating their mentor.

Maxie grimaced. "Groudon doesn't /need/ protection. If you keep that orb, you'll make the same mistake I did in using it--Give it /back/!" he demanded, going so far as to hold out his hand expectantly.

*Miku walks down the sidewalk, her red high heals clicking against the cement. The streets were slightly crowded; more then she liked, but she was here for a reason....People awed and gaped at her, watching as her soft white ears flickered from side to side; listening to the sounds around her. Cities were always so noisy...Sometimes it bothered her ears...Her blood red eyes gaze at the faces, but none seem to interest her*
*Miku's ears lay back, facing towards the door of the bar as it creeks open. She glances over to see a man walk in, although she didn't quite catch what was being said before he entered; she was too far from the enterance. There were a lot of familiar faces around, but him, she did not recognize. Still, she averted her gaze, and continued to stare at the wall blankly, and with boredom.*
Maxie grimaced. "Rayquaza has no desire to speak to the likes of humanity, let alone a little girl!" he scolded as if finding the idea asinine. It took him a moment to realize how angry he had gotten after which he promptly attempted to calm himself. "...You can't control Rayquaza--It will consume you. Please, give this up." he asked in a rather downtrodden tone. "I don't want to see that happen..." he finished in a more stern tone.

A moment of silence passed before Maxie spoke next. When he did, his tone was slightly more... dark. "I won't /let/ that happen..." he said, reaching out to grab ahold of Regit, only for his hand to clumsily grasp at something not readily visible. "What the..." he started, a confused expression flashing across his face as he grasped the invisible object before a loud smack was heard and his hand was simultaneously knocked away. Suddenly, Plum seemingly materialized, flexing on of her hand's fingers with a smirk on her face.
"Sorry, dadio. I'm too young for you." she said in a somewhat hostile tone, perhaps hinting at some major awkward that had just resulted in that slap. Maxie's face distorting in irritation into a scowl, but before he could demand an explanation Plum continued. "And she's too old for you." Plum remarked, gesturing to Regit.
"So why don't you take a hike before I have to shame you in front of your daughter, and my new /charge/?" she remarked, staying ever so cool despite having been unable to resist showing herself.

standing up and watching them when standing up with them distracted she was not sure to make a run for or keep facing her own father she backed away as she dropped the blue orb and ran off too think more grabbing her hoodie and her Pichu stayed with her
Plum detected Regit's fleeing and frowned. Curses. Maxie moved to draw one of his pokeballs. "I've had enough of this!" he responded, only for Plum to produce a ball of her own. Only, this ball was no pokeball--It was a /bomb/! Plum puled her scarf over her mouth and the bomb hissed in warning at it's imminent explosion, sending Maxie into a brief moment of terror before the ambiguous bomb detonated in his face. Rather than a fatal fragmentation bomb however, it was a smoke bomb... or rather a knockout gas bomb. The bomb knocked Maxie out faster than one could imagine, and Plum? She held her breath--Or at least she tried to. As she turned, a falling Maxi grabbed her scarf half-consciously as he went down, choking her briefly and getting her to accidentally take a small breath of the still present knockout gas. She fought the urge to take another as her head immediately began to throb and swim, and stumbled out of he cloud of gas, attempting to pursue Regit only to fall on her knees and struggle to get back up.

Regit;soon stopped and hid in a tree near by as she took a breath and sat down with her knees to her chest and hood over her face as tears come down from her eyes so confused right now as the little Pichu was standing guard just incase knowing that her trainer might be up there for awhile
At least a dozen minutes later, the rustle of foliage could be heard shortly before Plum moved in, looking slightly tired but alright. In the crutch of one of her arms rested the blue orb Regit had dropped, and her free hand rested on her hip.
Regit Londora Regit;calming down and soon came back relizing she dropped that blue orb though she noticed how stuck Plum is by Maxie she ran over to give her a hand as she pulled out a blanket and layed him down there and as she pulled Plum's scarf free for her though her hood
An odd sound started to fill the air... the sound slowly grew in intensity, before suddenly, a light suddenly flashed in the middle of the street. A blue blur suddenly darted out of it, before attempting to slow down, the blur's form starting to become more visible... it was a pink haired young woman around the age of seventeen, skidding her boots against the ground in an attempt to slow her speed. Eventually, the young woman stopped, wearing a triumphant grin. "Heh... damn, I'm good with teleportin' now."
Ink held Sandshrew in her arms as she walked down the crowded sidewalk just outside the gym. There were moments that she had to squeeze past battles in progress, making her feel pressured to dip her toes in the pool, so to speak. But she had no intention of acting like an actual trainer just yet. No, instead she was just looking for her friend, though it seemed her Sandshrew had other ideas as it squirmed to get out of her arms.
Titania Brightsmith came out of the Gym behind Ink before seeing a familiar sight, though Ink might not recognize her old friend in her imposing get-up. "Hey! You with the Sandshrew! Stay right where you are, I'll come get you!"
It was like a sea just parted as everyone chose to stay out of this woman's way. It was moments like this that made all the grueling training she went through to get here all worth it.

Ink blinked at the voice and winced while turning to look towards it. Had someone really picked her out for a battle? The sight of Titania threw Ink a bit before she finally recognized her and threw a hand up to wave to her friend. "Titania, hey!" With only one arm down around Sandshrew, the small pokemon found the opportunity to escape, leaping down and scurrying off towards another pokemon to pick a fight. That little guy was always so aggressive. Before Ink could snatch him back up, the creature dug into the ground and disappeared. "Hey! Sandshrew, get back here!"
Titania Brightsmith just chuckled. "Relax, Ink. Just stick close to me, I'll go get your friend. Go get 'em, Claw!" A large mole with steel implements of destruction popped out, giving the two of them quite a wide berth. "Keep 'em offa me, I gotta have room ta work," the Excadrill snarked before going down after the little one.
"You don't let Sandshrew out very much, do you? Pokémon can be like pets, but this one wants to get out and explore. I'm guessing it's been causing quite a bit of havoc around the apartment, hmm?"

Ink frowned. "Well, he has shredded through two doggy beds now...I would let him out more but I don't know how to train him. I feel like he just needs a good work out but I'm too chicken to let him out of my sight..." Sighing, she crossed her arms and stood next to Titania, turning to watch for her Sandshrew who just then re-emerged just in range to give a good bite to a poison type pokemon. "Hey! Be careful!"
Titania Brightsmith smiled. "All right, looks like he's found himself a good scrap. Those claws he used on the doggy beds? I bet they'll do some damage to that Ekans there, too. Go on, tell him to use Scratch."
Ink looked worried. "But I don't want him to get hurt...Er, use scratch, Sandshrew!" For a bit of comfort, Ink reached out and took hold of Titania's hand, eyes glued to the battle her Sandshrew just started.
Titania Brightsmith smiled as Sandshrew lunged forward and raked the enemy Ekans with its wicked claws. "Ooh, look out. Sandshrew looks like he's having a lot of fun battling, especially with the--LOOK OUT!" Dude to Ink's inexperience, all Sandshrew could do was stand there and try to defend itself from Ekans employing the attack Poison Sting. It didn't seem to affect him much, but then he shuddered.
"Uh-oh. I know what this is. You have to find a way to get him out of there before he passes out. Keep fighting if you have to!"

Ink didn't comprehend what was happening at all. All she knew was that Sandshrew looked like it was sick. "Sandshrew!" Really showing her inexperience, she let go of Titania and rushed in between the two battling pokemon, sweeping Sandshrew up into her arms before darting off. If there was one thing she knew how to do, it was run. Slowing down a few hundred feet off, she looked down at the creature she was cradling. "What's wrong little Sandshrew? Are you okay...?"
