All space-faring traffic in and out of Wing City arrives and departs from here. There are launch towers for older models of spacecraft, and quantum-distortion field panels for the newer gravitational assistance systems.
Customs
There are currently no customs in place.
A second or two later, he opened the glass hatch, climbed out, then walked out onto the bay as the large spaceport sucked his vehicle into private storage.
The girls began to scream, the boys staring in awe and all of a sudden, a hundred fans rushed out onto the landing pad and surrounded him with notepads and pens.
"Please, please!" He called out to them, while trying to push through. "One at a time, I only have two hands for signing autographs!"
He sighed, then began to walk; passing the red head known as Emma just as a man in a military suit stepped up behind him and clapped him on the shoulder.
"Andrest!" He greeted. "How are you doin' man?"
"Colonel Stone, it's been a while. I'm doing good, just had a little trouble with a security leak back there."
"Aha - yeah, I saw. The fans, right? That's what you get for being a war hero, you're practically a celebrity now."
"People give me too much credit," Andrest replied, his voice dying down as they entered the spaceport and the doors closed behind them.
The man turned around, and looked around.
He made his way over to the cafe, entered, then found himself a table by a window.
