Appearance: Cassie is fairly underweight for her age, she does have difficulties eating, so is only slightly scrawny and lanky. She has grey-blue eyes with dark eyelashes. Her hair is wavy and light blonde, it is fairly long and is up to her lower shoulder. Her face is fairly pale due to her eating problems and has a few blemishes upon it, she wears a bit of make-up. She is small boned and therefore appears to be gangly. Her clothes usually consists of patterned dresses, jeans and tops and hair accessories.
Cassie is a genuinely kind person and will always try and help others out, although she can get a bit carried away at times. She gets easily distracted and lacks concentration. She can be fairly selfish at times and arrogant. She does appear to be good natured and selfless, although this depends on how she is feeling or what mood she is in.
Cassie was born to a middle class family of three. Her father left home though, when she was around three years od age, leaving Cassie's mother too look after her and her sister, Marie. They are fairly rich, due to Cassie's grandfather who is wealthy and he helped them struggle through their troubled time. At age thriteen, Cassie was diagnosed with mild skitzophrenia, at thriteen, her mother found her talking to herself and was concerned. She oftens sees visions and will say "The v-voices are b-back...They're back to h-anut me". Marie left home shorty after, leaving Casse's mother on her own. After three years of living with the 'new' Cassie, her mother suffered a breakdown and the only alternative was to send Cassie to Camp DePrae to hopefully sort out her troubled ways.
