Mardotte suffers from a disorder to the exstent of closing off all emotional contact. Completely sang-froid and emotionless, he has tremendous clarity of thought, although he lacks any desire to accomplish anything.

Dislikes: Even less than his likes. Not even cookies
Weaknesses:

• Because he cannot experience emotions, he will by default be completely passive and helpless. Typically, he will lapse into a almost comatose state for hours.
• He finds it difficult and pointless to communicate, technically rendering him mute.

Fears: Being unable to escape his comatose state and seeing Jump City going through a second October Revolution.

Add explosive pyromania and reckless disregard in equal partitions. Bake in a academy of anarchy until golden brown. Serve with a slice of Mardotte for best results.

Likes: Big explosions, little explosions, napalm, conventional explosives, improvised explosives, surprise explosives, Mardotte and anarchy.
Dislikes: Knives, false detonations, pretentious authority figures, being told what to do and when Mardotte is smarter than her.
Weaknesses:

• Violation of personal body space (2 meters). It difficult not to get a mouthful of shrapnel when a grenade goes off that close.
• A soft, squishy human frame that tends to catch fire, get punctured, bleed or lose limbs when exposed to high explosives.
• Dirty hands.

Fears: Mardotte’s condition will get worse. Losing her hands, or even getting them dirty.

History: As members of a minor nobility in White Russia, Mardotte and Clair lost everything when their family was killed during the October revolution. Mardotte saw the worst of it all, firsthand. The effects left him emotionally mute, unable to comprehend the horrors. Mardotte and Clair were conscripted by other White Russians to fight against the Red Russians, becoming a child soldiers. Mardotte became a marksman while Clair was trained as a terrorist.

Finally, they could smuggle themselves to Jump City to start a new life. But the odds are stacked against them and there’s too much in this town that reminds them of home…
