Rejection, this is part of the reason he acts as the class clown and it comes from him never being able to really please his parents, they never had time for him and felt quite unwanted for a lot of him early life, or until he decided they were assholes.
PERSONALITY:
Quinn is a very outgoing person dispite him being quite insecure about himself. He has always acted like the class clown, possibly due to his fear of being rejected as hogwarts is the only place he has ever fitted in, or atleast doing so with some people. Looking past his jokey side, Quinn is a very caring person and he always looks out for his friends, he can get very protective over them.
Quinn is very close friends with Zera Lovegood. Quinn often stands up for Zera when people pick on her.
BIOGRAPHY:
Quinn was born into quite a rich, upper class family. His mother was a lawyer and his father an accountant for a large bank. They never really had time for their son and for most of his life he only ever got to see them at weekends and very late evenings, if he was lucky. He was often looked after by his cousin who was 21 at the time. His cousin had gone too Hogwarts despite being a muggle and had noticed, watching Quinn grow up, that he would be able to perform magic.
Quinn was sent to a private school where he never fitted in, the other children thought he was weird and used to bully him very badly. When he told his parents they never found the time to even sort it out or ring the school about it. It was only when Quinn was 10 that he stood up to them, he was being pinned into the corner of the playground, the other boys throwing rocks at him. Quinn panicked and large rocks began to fall from the sky, some bolder size. He didn't mean too use magic against them it just happened.
When Quinn told his cousin what happened with the rocks, he told him about Hogwarts and showed him that he could do magic. Quinn's parents knew what his cousins could do and were entirely against it all. After begging his cousin to try and register him to go to Hogwarts behind his parents back, on his 11th birthday he received a letter of acceptance to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He left with his cousin after still not being able to convince his parents who later practically disowned him for what he did and went to Hogwarts and has been there ever since. Also he now spends his summer with his cousin instead of going back to his parent's house.
MISCELLANEOUS:
When he leaves Hogwarts he want's to be a dragon trainer. Also he plays quidditch as a beater and hopes to be on the team again this year.
