Mark used to be fun, sweet, kind, the type of guy all the younger kids looked up to. He was the leader of the small children and always tried to be a good example. He always felt very close to his younger brother Will until he died. Mark was an all around good guy that was morally sound and just. Or so he used to be...

Today Mark is a very different person, maybe not his fun and comical personality, but how he views the world. Take or be taken from. Something his father had drilled into his mind. Secretly he thinks his father has gone insane, or always was and they were to young to notice... He isn't sure. He looked at women with a cold distaste and enjoys taking advantage of them, beating them down so they can feel pain like he does.

He has personal dislike for Vicky and she feels the same for him. He doesn't approve of her lifestyle and she hates him for not getting hurt in the raid. His scars are just not on the surface...

History

Mark was once a fun loving and caring guy. They lived off the land and he always respected the natural way of his pack. He knew even being so young that the pack was involved in the illegal human trafficking trade but he figured no one would care if a few humans went missing here or there. His father was training him in the ways of the business much to his mother and sister's despair. His father was always a stern man and he felt that taking from the humans to survive was fine because they were not of our tribe.

Obviously they were taking more humans then he had thought because a group of immortals came in and raided the pack leaving few survivors. His mother, little brother, and most of the extended family was wiped out. His father had managed to get him out unscathed, something Vicky secretly hated him for.

Now Mark runs the abductions, overseeing the places they take the girls from and where they are to be sent to. He is still a jokester and seems to be still light of heart, but in reality his heart is heavy with regret and sadness. He feels personally responsible for the deaths of his family... His little brother weighs the hardest on him. A boy so full of life and love, Mark had been the kid's hero and he couldn't even protect him. Every ounce of pain he feels he takes out on the girls he abducts. Raping and beating them before turning them over to Vicky so she can break their fighting spirit. It is a successful organization, and profitable. Mark had gone down a very dark road alone without his mother to guide him in the right direction and with his father who was obsessed with building the empire, bent on death and destruction for his own gain. Now Mark is a creature that he doesn't even know anymore.

He tries not to think about it... tries to push it all away and do his job. A job that allows him to reconcile his own feelings of guilt and loss.
