Appearance:
Skylar puts little importance on her appearance and never has. She doesn't wear make up because feeling it would be a waste of their families rations. She was named after the earth sky because her eyes are a bright blue similar to a description her mother once read in a book. Sky is a little underweight since she has been struggling to eat due to a lack of appetite and decided that since she was going to be floated anyway she might as well not waste resources.
Sky has dark brunette hair which is often either worn down or messily thrown up in a pony tail.

Sky is introverted and quiet but is very talkative once she is comfortable with people. She doesn't feel comfortable sharing her feelings, thoughts or problems with people because it makes her feel very vulnerable however she may open up to someone she really trusts. She is very caring and will be there for anyone who needs her help. Sky is very empathic and will happily listen to people's troubles and always puts others first. This comes from her having very little worth for herself, she gets very guilty if she values her needs over others. This was triggered by losing her friend.
Skylar is very smart, having very good memory skills has helped her greatly when training to be a doctor on the Ark. Sky is quite naive caused by always trying to think the best in others. She keeps a calm when in stressful situations but it does effect her afterwards. She holds a lot of guilt when she loses someone she's treating and feels responsible for her friend and father's death, she would also feel the same way about her mother if she knew what had happened to her.

History:
Sky grew up with her mother and father; both working on Agro station. Both her parents were farmers and as a child she grew up helping her father farming, this is where she began learning the medical uses for herbs. At a young age she decided she wanted to train to become a doctor when she came of age, her best friends mother helped to prepare her for the training to give her as much chance as more privileged students since she was a surgeon. Sky excelled in the training she had before she was imprisoned.

Lavender was Sky's best friend for as long as she could remember. Since Lavender's parents both worked on Agro they spent a lot of time together growing up. Lavender was about a year older than Sky. As Sky got older she became very shy making it difficult to form relationships with other people meaning Lavender was her only real friend.

Just after Sky turned 16 Lavender became life threateningly ill. The medics decided that since Lavender's chances of survival were so slim, they were not going to waste vital medicine on the girl. Sky used her position in the medic department to easily steal the supplies. Due to Skylar's misconduct Lavender survived the illness however this was overlooked by the council and both girls were imprisoned awaiting trail when they turn 18. When Sky was imprisoned her father started protesting trying to get people to stand against his daughter being punished for saving her friend. During a verbal commotion between himself and a council member Sky's father attacked the authority figure. This act gave the council enough evidence against him and he was floated for treason. A day before the decision to send the 100 delinquents to the ground Lavender turned 18. The girl was found guilty and was floated for theft of medical supplies, the council deciding she encouraged Skylar to steal the medicine for her. After the trial Sky's mother was found dead from an overdose due to the grief of losing her husband and certainty of losing her daughter.

Sky hasn't been told about the death of her mother but is struggling internally with the fate of her best friend and father. Despite everything that's happened she appears happy and is reluctant to show vulnerability by expressing her feelings. Sky is determined to use her medical skills to help people on the ground and hopes it may help to relieve some of the guilt she feels.
