Introduction
A master alchimist has sent out a message for four males nearing the age of adult hood. He promises fame and immortality for the takers and riches for the families. They must simply promise to put their soul over to the man and work till his death. Some are drawn for immortality, others the thought of money for their family, and others are forced to go.
Four are selected and say goodbye to their families and are sent to the man's castle and that is where all of their Hell began. They were each paired with an animal and morphed with it giving them powers. Each was unique, the bat, the fish, the snake, and the porcupine. They were given amazing powers. Each had a specific enhancement and a beast they would turn into related to their creature. The bat was made into a blood thirsty demon, the snake a gigantic serpent capable of devouring towns, a levithan the size of a city able to live on land or sea, and a spiked beast with dagger like quills covering their back.
The served for a solid three years before the man was on his last breaths. They stood at his bedside and nodded as he gave them his last request. He cast his last spell and turned the four into rings and inflicted a curse on them. He opened a small box and inside were four labeled boxes each with the name of one of the creatures on them. He then put the instructions inside and sent the box away to fall into the hands of a mortal years and only the ones smart enough to open the puzzle lock should posses the rings.
Inside here are four rings. Each posses a spirit who will protect you and serve you until death. All you have to do is keep the ring on at all times and you will control the beast inside of the ring.
Do not let it fall into the wrong hands...
And since then no one has been able and the box has been unbreakable so it has been passed down, stolen, and bought with no one figuring out the combination...
Wurgo, Iowa Present Day
Four girls have finally done what they had always told eachother when they were little they would have their own house. They are all best friends and for the reason they are all classified as nerds. They are intelligent, meek, perverted girls who fantasize about having the supermodel boyfriends they will never get nor had (nor regular ones). But they live happily in the house living out their new lives in their small town.
A week after moving in, one of the girls finds a box hidden in the attic. She takes it downstairs and all four observe it. The recognize the puzzle from a game they all had played and open it quickly and years of dust and debris are uncovered revealing the four boxes. If you read all of this put the opinion of your ringboy/master in the other category. The girls read the notes and think of it as just a prank then pick out the rings.
They were pretty and the four kept them on all day and at night they fell asleep with them on just as same. That was when they emerged. The boys woke up from the curse and stood up at their new master's bed, each dressed in clothes resembling their color. Then they grew tired and went to the living room to find their "brothers" as they had identified themselves as so mentioning that they have grown close and are now become blood brothers during their original servitude.
So they four boys protect their respective masters and are loyal so as they have the ring. If someone else takes the ring from the girl they will have to be loyal to that person and unfortunately there are a few who know of the rings and wish to possess the rings know as the "Ring Cult" who seek nothing more than to take the rings and destroy the world with them.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 7 authors
Suddenly frowning at the serious remark, Olivia leaned backwards to effortlessly throw her emptied cup into the trash bin, forming a perfect, airborne arc. Instead, she fell off the couch and prematurely chucked the cup and plastic spoon onto the kitchen counter. She exhaled a frustrated sigh, rubbing her sore head. Not wanting to pull herself up, Olivia remained on the floor, slouching against the couch to brace her back. "Sounds like reponsibility..." Her voice trailed off, as she exchanged glances with everyone present. "This is all very...illogical. You expect me to believe that the four of you were trapped in these rings..." Olivia held up her accessorized hand for emphasis. "...and although you look dashing, you're actually old." She grinned in disbelief at Sabastien. "Do you have any super powers or abilities to prove yourselves, then?" She smirked, crossing her arms in triumph, expecting a silent submission to her argument. "Let's assume, for a moment, that what you claim is true. It's not very humane to be bound by a ring and forced to serve a complete stranger. I should just take this off then, and free the two of us from responsibility." Olivia began to slip the ring off her finger but hesitated. She remembered the forboding note found in the mysterious box. A dire warning regarding the rings falling into the wrong hands. This is all ridiculous. Taking this off will do nothing. It's a ring! What's gotten into everyone?
"Do you have any super powers or abilities to prove yourselves, then?
"Erm...no. No supernatural powers, unless you count good aim. Not me. Not in this form. But I c-"
"Let's assume, for a moment, that what you claim is true. It's not very humane to be bound by a ring and forced to serve a complete stranger. I should just take this off then, and free the two of us from responsibility."
"No ma'am, you mustn't!" He exclaimed. "It's not...It isn't that simple." He got up, and walked over to where she lay.
"Please..." He pleaded. "You must believe me!" He looked to his brothers to back him up. He then bent down and offered her a hand. "I know this must sound rightly ridiculous, but we can prove ourselves."

"As you wish mistress though I would prefer to call you mistress I shall call you Gen if that is what is needed. " he said with a smile.
He simply sat back and listened to Quill's explanation. "Yes we are blood brothers not Ny actual kin but by trust. " he looked out the window and saw the rolling scenery. "Alright our turn then, what country are we in France maybe? " he asked wondering if he was close to his original home.
He was asked to prove they have powers and he sighed. "Fine I'll prove it I'm probably the farthest I can go without permission. " he concentrated and his skin turned a bit paler and his hair turned a dark brown. His teeth sharpened and his eyes narrowed as the large wings flopped out of his back and he got down into a three point stance then got up. "A bit stiff but still fine. " he muttered then looked at Olivia. "Does this prove we have powers?"
"Far from that, we're in the U.S. Wurgo, Iowa if you want to get specific. Judging from your jargon and Sabastien's dagger, I bet you don't even know what the U.S. is." Olivia sighed, shaking her head in dismay. Conversing with people is so exhausting. Why am I still here listening to such nonsense. Swatting Sabastien's hand away, Olivia scrambled to her feet. "I'm going back to sleep. Good luck wit-" Aaron's sudden performance, initially ignored by Olivia, instantly captivated her attention. She abruptly halted in her tracks, practically tripping over herself. For a moment, Olivia simply stood frozen in place, lost for words. Whenever she mustered up enough courage to speak, her words fumbled over one another, completely unintelligible. After a few silent blinks of disbelief, Olivia turned towards Sabastien. "It's not special effects, right? We aren't on some hidden-camera show, right? Those are real...wings?" She stumbled towards Aaron, dazed by the surreality of it all. "W-woah..." Her voice trailed off as she marveled at his transformation. "Wings! They're wings!" Excitement surpressing her fear, Olivia faced him. "Look at his eyes! A-and his teeth!" She frantically pointed in innocent amazement at his strange features. However, realizing her loss in the argument, Olivia sternly looked back at Sabastien. "This still doesn't explain why you have to serve us." Mystical butlers?! This is just like in that one anime! Ah, I just got inspiration for another painting! Despite her wild fantasies and thoughts running rampant through her mind, Olivia managed to remain composed...somewhat.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's enough proof," she nodded and, though it was a little weird, she continued, "You can call me whatever you're more comfortable with. I don't want to be a pain."
It'd be weird being called mistress, but she could live with it. Her dad often came up with weird nicknames anyway, though he never used them regularly. That aside, if these guys were stay β and so far it seemed like they would be β she didnβt want to force Arron to do something he didnβt want to do, she wasnβt cruel. Magic or not they were still people as far as she could tell, and deserved to be treated as such.
She honestly didnβt know what to do with Olivia. Usually she just sat back and watched, it was very entertaining. Also vastly different from her usual lazy self.

"Wings! They're wings!"
That would do. He smiled and watched smugly as she fussed about his brother.
((Sorry for the short post xD))
He then realized what he was doing and stood up straight after taking a few breaths. "Ahem, yes sorry we serve you because you control the object connecting us with this world, if the ring is destroyed we die but, if you keep it on we serve you as thanks for keeping it safe and sound. " he said with elegance and a soft smile. "Is there anything else you need to know?"
Olivia subconsciously slapped her palm against her forehead, on Aaron's behalf. "The United States is west. Completely seperate continent." Why do I even bother? "I'm sure one of the others could pull up a universal map for you on their phones or computer." She didn't bother glancing at the other girls for approval. Yawning, Olivia began to drag herself out of the living room. "No, I'll learn more as situations arise. I'm going back to sleep. 'Night everyone." She barely managed to wave to her friends, mental exhaustion and insufficient sleep wearing her down. Her back turned, she left the others to themselves. "Don't worry. I won't take it off." She called out, raising her hand above her head, perhaps for Sabastien's peace of mind. The golden ring, adorned with a porcupine, shined briefly in whatever light seeped into the dim hallway.
Shutting the door behind her, Olivia sank into her cool, refreshing sheets. She buried her face into their endless folds, inhaling the fresh, clean scent of laundry detergent. I wonder what Sabastien looks like in his other form. An unexpecting recollection of her servant's current attire, brightened her cheeks. He wasn't even wearing a shirt! After her flustered state subsidded, Olivia gazed outside her window. An illuminecent, lone barn owl in the distance soared out of view. Dawn's arrival was imminent and with it came loud, lively activity sounding from outside and within the house. Though she didn't want to accept it, she knew that her peaceful days of easing by were over. Tightly shutting her eyes, Olivia desperately tried to fall to sleep, silently hoping she'd remain undisturbed for quite some time.
((OOC: Ah, got carried away. Lazy. Lazy. Stay in character! > . < ))

"Right," she nodded to herself, standing up rather over-dramatically, "I'll be right back."
Having said this she wandered back towards her room, throwing clothes around until she came across a comfortable T-shirt and shorts. Yeah, not much of a change bit it made her feel productive. She then grabbed her small pencil case and her sketch pad. Now she'd have something to do that wouldn't be extremely confusing. She was going to regret this lack of sleep later, she just knew it, but for now she didn't care. She began wandering lazily back to the lounge room.
Demitri sat there stunned, for a few seconds completely unaware of what the others were saying. He was suddenly on his knees... the glasses plucked from his hands. Had the stupid little crybaby girl just brought him to his knees. Him? Demitri the greatest most good-looking God of the Sea ever conceived by the minds of man?! *Impossible...* He fell forward lying on the ground. "My honor! Damn you Melia! You destroyed it!" He curled up and banged his fist into the ground, acting as if the end of the world had just happened. "Damn you! Damn you all!" He was seriously over-reacting. He stood up. "I'm just rusty is all you... you... meek girl you!" He said pointing a finger towards Melia. He looked at her for a few moments. "Yes..." Focusing on her, realizing what he was doing and contemplating it. Those who knew Demitri would probably expect him to get mad or perhaps go on a rude, insult spouting rampage but he didn't. He smiled.
"Heh.... heh heh... HAHAHAHA!" He let out a hearty roar of laughter, probably loud enough to wake up the next twenty houses. He placed his hand on Melias shoulder. "It would seem your not as weak as I first thought eh?" He smiled earnestly. "In fact considering you look... decent without the glasses and hair ties AND considering the fact that you won't just lay down and take things, I think that you might, MIGHT just be close to being just below the rank of being almost worthy of my amazing and overall incredible nature!" He stated with an extreme amount of ego in his voice. He took the glasses from her face again. "But that was a cheap shot..." He smirked. "Trust me if you try that again mistress it won't go so well for you... in fact I might just turn into a giant fish and eat you." He said, the word mistress dripping with sarcasm as he gave her an evil smile.
"Hey Quill, do me a favor" He threw the glasses in his brothers direction past the girl who would serve as Quills masters and at a suitable distance that Quill wouldn't fail miserably. "Catch."
Demitri blinked, then collapsed on the floor, pounding his fist agains tthe tile in a childish fit. "My honor! Damn you Melia! You destroyed it!" In fetal position he continued to scream his curses, acting like an over grown toddler throwing a tantrum because he didn't get his own way. "Damn you! Damn you all!" Melia watched with mild interest, and distain for that matter, as he stood up and pointed an accusing finger at her. "I'm just rusty is all you... you... meek girl you!" He held that position for a few moments, he's face colored red with fury. Melia meet his eyes, issueing a challange, them silently saying 'And just what are you going to do about it?' though no true words were exchanged.
A moment passed and Demitri seemed to gain control of himself again, clearing his throat and covering, "Yes..." which Melia had now come to realize that this was what he said when at a loss for further words. Something to cover the silence. Then suddenly, he did something Melia hadn't expected. He began to laugh! First a little chuckle, then a small laugh, then a full out gahaw! "Heh.... heh heh... HAHAHAHA!" He laughed loudly for a short time, walking forwards and putting a firm hand on her shoulder. Melia's eyes were wide behind her glasses as she was unsure what to think, or whether she ought to be scared for her life.
"It would seem your not as weak as I first thought eh? In fact considering you look... decent without the glasses and hair ties," when Demitri smiled down at her, a true smile, Melia could feel her heart rate quicken. Why? She didn't want to pin it on a sudden attraction to her arrogant guardian, so she reasoned that it was more frightening than his usual smirk. "AND considering the fact that you won't just lay down and take things," he continued, "I think that you might, MIGHT just be close to being just below the rank of being almost worthy of my amazing and overall incredible nature!" Melia bit back a sigh of exasperation. 'Well, it's a step in the right direction.' Melia thought, 'And it's better than nothing.'
Gently he reatched up with his other hand and removed the glasses from her face. Melia held still, but rolled her eyes as the kitchen and living room became blurry colored shapes again. Though she couldn't see clearly, Melia could tell that Demitri's smirk had returned. This was a small relief. "But that was a cheap shot..." he said as if he had brushed the whole event aside, then turned his voice more sarcastic and cutting. "Trust me if you try that again mistress it won't go so well for you... in fact I might just turn into a giant fish and eat you. At this, Melia DID roll her eyes. As long as the ring rested upon her finger, she doubted that he would do any serious harm to her. But then again, perhaps she was being over confident...
Pulling herself from those dark thoughts, Melia saw Demitri's arm that held her glasses make a throwing motion. "Hey Quill, do me a favor; catch." Melia jolted forward as he tossed them, but found Demitri's arm still on her shoulder. In a sudden burst of frustration she knocked his hand off of her and grabbed his wrist, turning in a way that twisted his arm behind his back rather painfully. She heard him gasp in surprise and mild pain. Had she brought down her own elbow onto his while she arm was being held like this, it could have easily broken the bones. But this was not Melia's intention, only to prove a point and quickly get past him.
"My name is Melia. Not Mistress." she said seriously, giving the boy a small push, brushing past him as she walked towards the one she assumed he had thrown her glasses at. In her near-blindness she managed to only stumble over the coffee table; a small error from which she recovered quickly. Offering a rather sheepish smile she looked in the general area his eyes would be located. "May I have those back please?" she asked kindly, hoping that this brother wasn't nearly as troublesome as the one she'd gotten stuck with. Oliva had gone to bed, so she had no back up plan in case this one though it'd be funny to tease her. "I sort of need them to see." she added with a small, only half forced laugh.
She stepped into the room and was slightly confused by the site in front of her. Still, things were going to be weird now, sheβd just have to live with it. She moved towards Melia, offering the case despite her friendβs clear plan to get her glassed
βMelia,β she offered, displaying the case, βI know itβs uncomfortable but he canβt steal them like youβre glasses right?β
Genevieve, personally, thought her eyes were pretty cool, but she didnβt have any plain contacts and if her friend preferred it she wasnβt going to argue. Also part of her was worried that sheβd hurt herself if she continued to argue with her ring boy while she couldnβt see properly.
He hated Demetri's ego and was always looking to tone it down a notch but it was hard ti di being on the same side and all. Since heating the living whit out of him never seemed ti work embarrassment seemed to be the only thing. "Oh I get it, Demetri has a crush for his mistress and he's using the juvenile approach. Hitting and teasing her aw the weakling likes her. " he said then winked showing he did it all on purpose.
Nearly suffocating in the blanketing sheets and pillow smothering over her ears, Olivia stared at her bedroom door, as if her vision could bore right through it and locate the origin of noise. It's probably 4 AM now, maybe even 5. Why can't you all sleep in and relax, for once. She bolted upright, face twisted with irritation. This is all his fault... Furious, she hurled a wrinkled pillow at her writing desk, Sabastien's face as a mental target. Grazing the top of the desk, the pillow wreaked havoc on the innocent articles and items, before losing momentum and descending to its demise on the floor. Yellowing parchment crackled, their dry fibers stretching after a long slumber, left to be forgotten and age with time. Dawn's first feeble rays penetrated Olivia's parted curtains, briefly transforming dust into shimmering specs of gold, the fleeting miracle ending once the dust floated out of reach. Murky water dirited with paint dripped off the desk's edge, from a glass jar knocked over. Olivia cursed under her breath. Irked, she hastily scooped up a heavily creased shirt from the floor to clean up the mess. Doesn't water and wood make mold or something? It's got paint though. Won't it stain? Instead of handling the problem at hand, Olivia slipped on the slick, wet floor. She yelled something unintelligible. This wasn't like herself. Granted, she was a klutz, but she approached things passively and tolerated them. Embaressed at her pathetic state, unable to truly burden her three, dear friends, Olivia latched onto the only scapegoat to take the blame. "Quill! Quill!" Feeling not even a morsel of guilt or shame at the moment, Olivia called forth her bound servant, even louder. "Ugh...Sabastien!"
She waited for a moment, catching her breath from the surprisingly exhausting fit. Now that her mind settled somewhat, Olivia could think more clearly, hopefully with rational logic as well. She stared at her door, hesitant. She'd never allowed her friends into her room, and guys were out of the question. For once, Olivia took in the state of her room. Clothes, both clean and soiled, littered the floor. Her closet was practically sealed off by the armada of unfinished canvases that leaned up against its sliding doors. A thin, sleek laptop---the latest model of its series---emitted a droning hum, never physically turned off to rest and recover. Besides several video game consoles and manga series that were scattered and unevenly stacked around the room, one could not overlook the immense amount of dust. Thick layers of the stuff formed dingy, grey blankets on the window sill, in the air conditioner, and beneath her uplifted bed---shadowed lair of several dust bunny colonies and the occasional spider.
Maybe letting him in isn't a good idea, after all. Besides, what is he suppose to do? I already cleaned the spill up (with my foot). Why did I call him over anyway? Ugh, seriously. This is all his fault! I'll make him wish he never had to serve me. He'll be pleading for mercy! Getting carried away with her scheming imagination again, Olivia coughed to herself. Refuse to let him in and end up having to explain everything and the mess to him?...or...pretend to sleep and avoid trouble all together. Although the latter was full of extranious variables and holes, Olivia submitted to her favorable bias. Mmm...sleep sounds good. Lazily tugging her comforter and blanket off her bed, she curled up beneath her desk, snuggily wrapped in a soft cocoon.
He shot Jayden a dirty look. "Yeah." He said, handing her the glasses.
"Oh I get it, Demetri has a crush for his mistress and he's using the juvenile approach. Hitting and teasing her aw the wealking likes her."
Quill laughed. "Demitri's got a girlfriend! Demitri's got a giiiirlfriend!" He teased.
"Ugh...Sabastien!"
Quill walked hurriedly to his mistress's room, remembering where it was from earlier that night. He softly knocked on the door. "Yes mistress? Are you alright?" he asked.
He couldn't seem to figure the girl out. She was very hard to read, he thought.
((Sorry for the rushed post, I'm just on my way out the door xD))
Olivia's body tensed, at the knock on her door. Ugh...he did come after all... Despite the disappointed thought, her heart hadn't sank with dread. She pulled one of the several blankets from her soft, cocoon over her head. Stick to the plan. Keep pretending to be asleep. Eventually, he'll go away, especially at the sight of your room, and you'll fall asleep undisturbed. Olivia tightly shut her eyes, bracing herself for the result of her reasoning logic. She felt somewhat guilty for decieving him, but she quickly smothered the feeling away, into the cold, depths of her heart.
((OOC: Quite alright. :3 ))

She wasn't really the talkative type so she just sat in silence, allowing herself to watch and listen to everyone else as she continued her sketching.
"Master?" He called, not seeing her on the bed, or anywhere, for that matter.
A bead of sweat rolled down Olivia's face. It was becoming unbearable beneath the overwhelmingly warm and oxygen deprived environment. Despite the discomfort, she tolerated it, staying motionless beneath the heap of blankets beneath her desk. "Master?" Her limbs tensed at the sincere call. She held her breath as his footsteps wandered the cluttered room.
However, unable to desperately contain the sudden urge to sneeze, Olivia unintentionally revealed her obscure position with the small, muffled sound. Her heart sank. Of all times, why now?
"Master, are you...alright?"
Attention diverting from how he formally addressed her, Olivia's mind reeled with whimsical imagination and absurd scenarios. Master? This is what it must feel like to be a refined lady! However, it was fair to conclude that Olivia's demeanor was graceful and cultured with sophisticated manners. This whole 'ring' and 'ownership' thing seems like it'll demand a lot of responsibility. If it's going to be bothersome, I might as well get something out of this. Cautiously peering out from the enveloping blankets, Olivia flinched at the unanticipated, perilous dagger withdrawn in Sebastian's hands. Quickly dismissing the false, threatening danger, she slumped into the cozy embrace of her blankets and retreated beneath the desk, resuming her languid posture. She peeled away a snug layer of her cocoon from her face, studying Sebastian for an awkward span of time. Granted, he's nonhuman, but he's my servant, right? He could be my butler, waiting on my every need and desire! Olivia's eyes shone with delight. In a hasty attempt to avoid compromising her torpid composure, she buried the bottom half of her face into the sheets, concealing a small, devious grin.
"I'm fine, for now. Anyway, could you wake me up at noon? Oh, and with lunch! Bring lunch to my room! And cake!" It was becoming increasingly difficult to contain her excitement, due to her new perception of Sebastian which she brashly forced upon him. She frantically racked her mind for any occurring, selfish desires that sprouted unaccounted for. As for the moment, she couldn't find any. Although her room plead for tender, love, and care and a good, thorough cleaning, Olivia didn't want to irritate her "butler" too much. Her eyes resting upon Sebastian's bare, toned chest, she quickly turned away, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. "A-and put on a shirt or something." Without another word, Olivia tightly shut her eyes, hoping she'd fall asleep fast.
