Cronus

King of the Titans

0 · 449 views · located in New York City

a character in “The Rise of the Titans: Crimson Age”, as played by vinyl

Description

Cronus
"A father must discipline his children. "

Image
Role: Cronus, Ruler of the Titans.
God/Titan Symbol: The sickle of which he used to destroy his father, and his children in turn used to dispose of him.
Appearance:
Eyes: A chaotic grey, similar to a brewing storm. While he may mask his many emotions his eyes are usually portals to his true feelings.
Hair: Sandy brown with several patches of grey.
Height:6'2
Weight:180
Shape: Athletically built .
Particular Markings:One would expect scars all over his body after having been cut into pieces by his children, but Eris's resurrection of the Titans seems to have caused all such wounds to have faded.
Tone:His voice is authoritative and commanding. A true ruler in all aspects. When Cronus speaks, others feel compelled to listen.
While Cronus is not a terribly handsome man, his human form does bear a certain ruggedness to it that will cause women to let their gaze linger upon him.
Persona:An alpha male and as stubborn as an ox are typical phrases used to describe the Titan King. He is highly mistrusting of those around him, especially his wife Rhea. He blames her for the end of the Golden Age and for tricking him into eating the stone instead of their son. He has a significant amount of rage inside him which can make him cruel to others, including his siblings and wife even if they're are not the direct cause of his anger. Cronus cares little for the opinions of others, and has led himself to believe that his thoughts alone are usually the only that matter. Having his children become his usurpers has left a bitter taste in his mouth, and he now seeks nothing more than their ruin and to become the one and only King of the Immortals once more.
With his paranoia steadily growing day by day, it's no surprise that he's on edge the majority of the time.
Job:None, only recently resurrected.
Powers:Strength: His strength is his only notable power as he lacks the wit or powers of his older brethren.
What do you hope to achieve by the end of this war?:"I seek to crush my deceptive children. Their past transgressions will not go unpunished, and they will regret every moment of their treacherous plots to overthrow me."
Theme Song: Song name
Relations: "My brothers and sisters...perhaps with time I will place more faith in them, but never my treasonous wife. I loved her and yet she thought to pull the wool over my eyes even after years of marriage. My children are usurpers, and it's useless to speak of such things."
Anything Else?: TBA

Cronus

size=95]"Hyperion. Have you found any of them yet?"

The Titan of Light gave a nod, and held up his hand with three fingers raised. "Only Athena, Demeter, and her flowery lass Persephone. We have yet to find your other children."

“Those three be damned. It's Hades, Poseidon and Zeus I want you fool.” Cronus cursed. He and his brethren were newly risen and as clueless and new born babes to the world and age they were brought into. Despite Eris's many explanations, they still had yet to use anything involving "electricity". It was all a bunch of hocus pocus to him and his kin, though a few of his brothers were already anxious to learn more.

Cronus stretched his long limbs and sighed. A week had passed by already and they had only found three Gods, and one wasn't even an Olympian. Just Demeter's pup who posed no threat to Cronus and his lackeys unless one of them suddenly developed an aversion to flower, or allergies.

Hyperion patted his brother on the shoulder lightly. "Don't worry Cronus. We'll find them. My children are searching the skies as we speak. "

Cronus scowled but said nothing. His brothers feeble attempt at reassuring him helped little to ease Cronus's worries, but he gave the Titan a nod regardless. Yelling at his siblings would gain him nothing but more enemies, and he couldn't afford that at the moment. The Fates had already saw to screw him over once by allowing his Rhea to trick him and end the Golden Age of which he had ruled.

"Now that I think about it, where is my lovely bride..."

"Hyperion. Have you seen Rhea? " He asked, finally making eye contact with his brother after an hour of avoiding his gaze. The Titan shook his head and the scowl that had been slowly disappearing from Cronus's rugged face appeared once again. These imbeciles couldn't do anything. "Someone find her for me and tell her I wish to speak with her here shortly. We have many things to discuss, my wife and I."

With his last declaration the Titan Lord strode past his sibling and wandered into the master bedroom of the house Rhea and himself had claimed as soon as they came to their new home. Tiredly, he sat down on the soft brown quilt that covered the king size bed and laid his head in his hands, thinking tiresome thoughts as he waited for his wife to join him.

Zeus usually had little reason to be out and about the city during the day, and instead chose to spend a lot of his time within "Slate". Afternoons were never quite as busy as the evenings, but the luxurious club was always full, and of course - dark, something Zeus enjoyed.

"You smell like flowers dear....sweet succulent flowers. I could just eat you up." he'd whisper into the ear of a giggling woman who was just barely 18, as he ran his fingers through her hair. She sat to his right side, while her friend sat to his left, on a black leather couch mere steps from the music rooms bar. The two of them were both groupies and regularly showed when he'd perform during the evening hours.
"Oh Markus stop!" the girl let out through her giggles, as the lustful God brushed his nose against her neck.
It was like childsplay to him, seducing a mortal woman....especially one so young and clueless. He almost wished it wasn't as easy as it was at times, simply so he could be provided with more of a challenge.
But never the less he was ready and willing to take both the girls to his industrial loft across the way from the club, however just as he stood to tell the girls to follow suit he caught a glimpse of a flaming red-head he had been waiting to see...
"I do apologize, but can you two beautiful ladies excuse me for just one minute. I'll meet you both down in the pool hall in a short while - promise." he said coolly, and the women would look a bit dejected for a few seconds before smiling and nodding their head in agreement.

Once the two rounded the corner of the bar Zeus would stretch his arms above his head for a moment before strolling over to the red head, who looked far too young to be inside such an establishment.
"Are you even old enough to be seated at a bar young lady?" he asked, before taking a seat at the said bar beside her.
"What's it to you!?" the girl spat back, as she fiddled with the strap of her bulging messenger bag. Zeus simply smiled. "A spit-fire attitude with a fiery stare.....how suiting, for a bird such as yourself."
He'd wave his hand in the air towards a bartender to signal he'd like another drink while the girl stared at him wide-eyed, as if he just threatened her life.

"W-what do you mean, bird....that's such a rude word for a woman, don't you have better manners."
As the drink was placed in front of him the God would only smirk before brushing his hair over his shoulder and staring the young girl directly in the eyes.
"Lets be honest, it's exactly what you are dear. And the body you chose to reside in is far from the body of woman.....you look no older than sixteen, my dear Phoenix."

If it was physically possible, the girls face would of turned white as a ghost, however the fire running within her veins prevented her highly tanned tone from changing shades.
"H-how....did you know?" she asked as she clenched her bag.
"The King of Gods knows much. How do you think you found your way here? It was my voice that lead you to me, was it not? I could feel your flames from miles away, and the puppy you hold their in your bag - i felt it's ferociousness from cities away....quite the cute disguise for a Chimera - a small beagle pup."
The expression of shock on the mythical beings mortal face only grew once he made mention of what was in her bag. She had failed at hiding not only it, but herself.....and suddenly felt completely vulnerable. However when she caught a glimpse of the lightening bolts he purposely let show for a moment before pulling his sleeve back down, his true identity flooded into her mind.
"Wait, the King of Gods.....you're Z-" Before she could finish her thought, Zeus would put his finger over her full ruby-red lips. "Markus, Markus Light here."

"Well, Markus....i'm Emma, Emma Stone....and perhaps you should be careful about showing those symbols....if you found me, i'm sure others might have too."
The God chuckled a bit before offering her a glass of water. "Indeed others have found you. There were men tailing you on your way here. However i was able to distract them and mask your trail....for now. As for me, i'm always careful my dear, but i do believe it's coming time my fellow immortals learn of where exactly i am."
"So, you've heard the rumors? Of Eris.....and what she did."
"They're not rumors, it's the truth. The daughter of Nyx is quite the mischievous little wench when bored, but yes, i've known since a day after it happened.....even spotted a few of my fathers minions in the beginning as they failed to notice me. However, i'm thinking of letting them approach me next time......should make for some good fun, an i don't wish too get rusty now do i?"
As soon as the words left his mouth a rumble of thunder could be heard in the skies above. Emma simply stared - confused.

"So you mask my trail, and lead me to you......i don't understand, what do you want with me if you already know of Eris and her doings?"
"Well for starters I admire your fire, and i'm also intrigued by the bundle of power you carry in that bag there....."

The young girls expression finally relaxed into a smirk, as it became obvious to her what Zeus was asking.
"A fire bird is never held down, and it's forever immortal.....what makes you think i'd agree to be in your perverted pocket - sir? "
He couldn't help but smile at first, but it wouldn't remain on his face for long.
"My father will hand you the same offer if he or any of his minions catches you, but unlike me, if you refuse he will not simply let you go. He'll extinguish your flames and forcibly take that beast in you bag that i'm assuming you've become fond of, and turn it into the monster it has ever potential to be. True, you're being is immortal, but your soul is not. Your ashes will sprout another one of your kind, but the girl i speak to now will no longer be."
His words were in a whisper meant only for her ears, and her sudden sullen appearance meant she heard every word he spoke.

Emma was not the first immortal being or supposedly-mythical creature to be found by Zeus over the years, and like all the others he has called to himself reticently after an initial push she'd agreed to lend herself to him when needed, and the two would seal the deal with a bonding pendant necklace made from the stone of Mount Olympus. If she was to ever break her commitment to Zeus and his fellow Olympians before he released her from the deal, the pendant itself would swallow her whole - essentially turning her into nothing more than a necklace.

"Where should i go now..." she'd mutter softly, as she reached into her bag to pet the softly whining pup.
"I'm affraid the mortal world is not going to be a safe place for you here shortly, so i can send you to live within my Oak Tree atop Mount Olympus...one of the few places my father can't get to."
The answer was presented to her as an option, but Emma knew it wasn't a choice. Zeus surely wasn't going to babysit her, and had no intent on letting her to wander off on her own with the risk of being found.

"I see....i'm guessing the pendant you wear on your neck can be used as a portal."
"Indeed. No worries though, you won't be alone there."
"W-who all resides where you're sticking me?"
"Oh why ruin the fun - you'll see. I will say though, you'll be surprised at the appearance of the gorgon twins. The mortal world was kind enough to restore thier beauty. Pitty i can't view it in person on an hourly basis."

Emmas eyes went wide, rightfully so, but they'd relax quickly after remembering the twins weren't quite as capable as their sister - however one was far more vicious, making Emma more curious than anything, as to how Zeus actually got the woman to agree to her current situation. But she wouldn't ask, and instead swallowed the last bit of her drink, before the two would walk off together inside of an empty bathroom and lock the door.

"Couldn't pick a nicer place." she'd joke.
"Just be happy i'm not doing to you what i've done to others within these same four walls."
"I can only imagine....."

Emma would place the pendant given to her around her neck, and with a simple touch from Zeus's finger the pendant around his own neck would vanish, an in it's place an open portal.
Once he removed his finger tip from atop the portal the girl and her bag would swiftly be swallowed up into it - leaving nothing behind but the scent of fresh Oak.

Zeus has definitely found an odd comfort within his new persona, but the God hasn't lost his touch. He knows it's only a matter of time before all the Olympians will find one another and a battle will likely to occur with the Titans once again.....so such beings as the Phoenix, her Chimera, and the likes of the Gorgon girls, were all lovely ace's up his sleeve....

But for now, it was time to drink enough rounds for an entire football team, with a group of beautiful women surrounding him - all willing to so easily give themselves over to him, of which he'd of course enjoy, until it the clock struck 11pm and it was time for him to grace the stage of Slate with his band, and sing a few of their newest songs....

Hyperion walked down the hallway from where he had been thinking, these however were not idle thoughts one thinks when bored, and these were the thoughts of war. Eris had brought his brothers and sisters back from their slumbers, but for what reason? He continued to walk at quickened pace and out of the house and onto the wet grass the sun shining brighter with every step he took. Hyperion didn't want war and to be honest could care who was in charge, he looked around slowly before changing into his human form, Cronus would go into one of his rages if he saw him "lower himself by being a human."

He wondered quietly why his brother wanted to know where the Gods where, at first he thought it was for a treaty of peace, but now it seemed different like Cronus was preparing for war. He walked down the street without fear of being attacked, none of the Gods and Titians other than Cronus knew he was still kicking, he had just disappeared and for a while, he liked it that way for a while before coming out of hiding only to find this... he shook it out of his mind, he had other thing to plan and thought a good book and some flowers might cheer Cronus and his wife up.

He slowly made his way down the street and stopped at a book store and then stopped in front of a bookshelf holding a face reference dictionary and flipped through the pages then something caught his eye and he smiled and walked over to were the cashier was and handed her the money for the book, he had found Zeus. Hyperion walked out onto the cold street, he shivered before making his way down the street and he quickly counted the mortal money he had been given by Cronus for the time being, one thousand mortal dollars, not much in human terms.

He quickly moved down the street while looking for a flower shop to buy some flowers for his wife and Rhea once he met up with Cronus again he give them to her, it would cheer her up. He finally made his way down the street towards the business end of New York hoping to find some flowers and he finally stopped in front of the most little likely place, the words on the sign read clearly and Hyperion was glad no one knew he was still alive, the letter on the shop spelled out very neatly, Ambrosia.

He was silent and was about to walk away when he saw the Gods inside, well check another one of the big three of my shopping list he thought and walked away quickly and got some flowers from another store and moved of back to Cronus. He burst through the door of the house moving with purpose before knocking rapidly on Cronus is door, and then saying quietly “I’ve found them” he waited for Cronus to answer while holding the flowers tightly, my you will look like such a great warrior to Cronus he chuckled to himself waiting.

Hyperion stood up straighter "I found Zeus working at a human company, his name now is Brandon Powers... he wasn't hard to find." Hyperion gestured at a human newspaper with Zeus's face on it and in bold lettering it said "Brandon Powers does it again" Hyperion smirked "Zeus has been busy in social light lately. While you were sleeping I was watching the Gods and I've lost track of how many humans Zeus has slept with."

"Now finding Hades was a bit trickier, but like his brother they both have egos the size of Mount Olympus, I've tracked him down to some recent gang sighting’s around this area...." he said calmly like an assassin pointing out his targets on a map he had placed on the table.

"Also Hades owns a nice restaurant and a human strip club" Hyperion sighed, his nephew had turned out edgy and maybe it was time for a face to face talk though Cronus would like to have one at the edge of a blade instead of peace. "I also have tracked down his wife and Demeter, Athena, Artemis and Apollo and... Poseidon at a flower shop downtown, if we act now we could catch four of them right now...." he said before silencing himself, he wanted peace now war but he was born a soldier and would die a soldier he guessed.

Hyperion walked away from the table for a minute and looked at his brother "must this end in blood brother?" he said looking at Cronus with a faraway look in his eyes as he paced back and forth. He stood still looking out a window out into the world around him "If we are to stand against the Gods brother we must stand as one..." He said turning to face Cronus before sitting in a chair to the side of the room "but I must ask you brother is this war necessary?" He had just done somthing no Titian had done before, questioned Cronus, but still he wasn't going to back down from this topic "yes they wronged you but then again you tried to eat them... you tried having revenge once brother and it failed because we could not stand together, revenge does not work! you need to rally the others with the strength to go on and fire their spirts with the true justace not petty revenge..." he said in a almost pleading voice

Demeter

Her nephew had accepted her offer for tea, and even that small gesture made Demeter feel slightly better. Her nephew was not known to be as social butterfly among the Immortals, so his traveling to Persephone's shop and visiting was something of a surprise to her. She could count on a single hand the times Apollo voluntary visited the shop since they arrived in New York.

"Well, glad you seem to enjoy Earl Grey.." She chuckled lightly as she watched her nephew gulp down the entire contents in the small silver tea cup she had put before him. When she reached to take back the cup, her hand stopped short as Apollo's human form shook and his hands clawed into the rests of the chair.

"Apollo?" She said, her face now filled with concern as she bent down to one knee in order to look at the younger deities face. She had known Apollo to have visions, but never had she seen his body contort so fiercely . Her heart fluttered briefly and she reached a hand out brush the hair from his face, but she stopped herself halfway. It was not wise to touch one who was in a vision. Those who traveled between the planes of the mind and future were unpredictable. While she knew Apollo would not purposely hurt her, while he his mind was elsewhere there would be no telling of what his body would do.

It would seem to be only minutes before the young man let out a blood curdling "NO" that sent the surprised Harvest Goddess shuffling back and sliding onto her butt . The tile floor was cold on her exposed legs, but it did little to bother her.

"Apollo, what did you see?" She questioned, pushing herself off the ground.

“This…has never happened to me. My visions, they always happen when I command it, always, but this…”The Sun God stammered. Demeter's eyes scanned his face as if searching for more answers to his statement.

The boy seemed to take a deep breath before opening his mouth to speak once more. “Everything, everyone…everything was eviscerated, everywhere.”She exchanged a look with Poseidon before scrunching her forehead; her face contorting into a quizzical expression. "Everyone? Did you see what caused it Apollo? "Normally she wouldn't have pressed him so urgently for information, but with her daughter above ground and away from her, she needed would require a less vague answer.

Before he could reply, she turned to Poseidon. "Do you believe we should alert Zeus of this brother? I'm sure he would wish to hear what Apollo has seen and take the proper precautions."

Cronus

“Silence!” Cronus roared. “Too long have we allowed these false Gods to rule in our own kingdom. You wish to speak of peace with my usurpers Hyperion? If that is your wish, perhaps you should join them if your craven heart bleeds for the fools so deeply. You are right, we did try to have revenge once but that was years ago and mistakes were made that will not be made again. It is time the mortals placed their faith into a different kind of being. It is time they listened to the voice of the Titans.”

His own voice rang in the dining hall and with such power behind it that not one of his brethren around him uttered a word in reply. Cronus cast a stern eye in the direction of Hyperion to address him once more. "I thank you for your information, but I refuse to listen to your words of peace. Speak any more of it and you and I will share more than just words brother. "

He cleared his throat and fixed his gaze onto the newspaper Hyperion had held in his hands. "We will not place an attack immediately. Instead, we will let them know of out presence in a dignified manner. Let them tremble and panic ."

Oceanus considered his brother's words as he stroked his bristly white beard. "You mean to send one of us to alert the Gods of our presence? Why not simply spring a surprise attack brother? We would quickly overpower those seen at the flower shop."

Cronus gritted his teeth before turning towards his elder brother. "I shall send two titans, and they will not harm a single hair on any of the Olympians. Walk past them in a street, wave, do anything to alert them of your presence but do NOT take action against them. I want them to fear us. It will spread like an infection if we let their fear of us fester for a long enough time."

With a murmur of agreement flooding the room, Cronus finally allowed a smile to flicker across his face. "Now, I ask that two go to ...make their introductions to Immortals at ..what's that flower shops name again?" He inquired, snapping his fingers for someone to remind him of the name.

"Ambrosia.." Theia replied.

"Yes, Ambrosia. I require two of you to go. Hyperion you will go and Oceanus shall follow closely behind. Remember...not a hair on their heads harmed."

Oceanus gave a polite nod before rising from his chair. Cronus turned a final time to Hyperion . "Do not fail me brother, or you will wish you had remained in Tartarus" With the final warning spoken, the Titan Lord would raise a hand and wave impatiently for the two to go and attend to their task.

Hyperion nodded before heading off after Oceanus. It would be a long walk, and no doubt Oceanus have some new insult to throw at his younger brother after that scene with Cronus, he just kept moving forward down the street and turned off at an allyway before moving down onto broadway and fifth street. He looked around at all the humans in the square and kept moving, Cronus was right, a God would not cry over his body in death so why should he cry over theirs...because they're you family echoed in his head before he brushed it off "not any more" he muttered before turning down a side street to flag a cab.

The yellow car slowly pulled up infront of him and he stepped in waiting for Oceanus to get in before he gave the driver the destanationthe cab moved through the busy crowed streets and made its way like a snake down back allyways, New York's building seemingly looming over the Titian as he look around before chuckling to himself Cronus didn't get out much but he knew he didn't like the fact that these building were just as imposing as him.

Hyperion looked around himself as Cronus words bounced around in his head, You wish to speak of peace with my usurpers Hyperion? If that is your wish, perhaps you should join them if your craven heart bleeds for the fools so deeply. He rolled down the window not only to clear his head but escape the smoking reak of the car, he needed a drink after this.

After a while of driving the car slowly pulled up in front of the flowershop, he allowed his clothes to change into a military uniform before he gave the driver the money before moving towards the flowershop. He moved toward the window and looked at all the flowers taking in all the colors before heading inside. He made sure Oceanus fallowed him in as he moved forward toward a group of sunflowers and looked over them for a few minutes before smiling and turning to Demeter "Are those sunflowers for sale?" he asked quietly.

Hyperion smiled at Apollo, and looked at the sun "your doing a good job kid, I really d..." he said sadly before saking his head but as he did he caught a glance at Apollo's phone and then looked at them with a forlorn look, he had the look of a a man that was trapped by honor and you could see he hated what he was doing.

Then he quickly moved outside and away from that damn flower shop Oceanus following quickly behind him. He waited until Oceanus had goten far ahead of him before punching into a brick wall and backing up tense, why? the question echoed in his head slightly before he kept moving, Cronus was after all a impatieant man. Hyperion sighed to himself, he felt like he was working for the mob, with his brother ruling over him like Hades would his henchmen.

Hyperion reached the gate of the house the titians were living in before pushing in the door and making his way inside and through the front door, before presenting himself before Cronus "well brother I have delivered your message to the Gods and I come with news... Zeus is bringing the Gods under one roof for a dinner they will be going to Brandon Poweres Mansion to do it."

Hyperion stood up beffore pacing " I don't know the exsact time of this dinner but it will be happening" he looked around at the other titians who were talking amongst themselves "tonight Zeus will call his court together and they will eat, Brandon Powers has many butler's and maids, I am sure we could sneak in if needed we'd just need to hide are aura long enough to do it" he looked at his brother " as a soldier and a genral of an army and bound by honor to you, this would be the perfect time to strike."

Demeter

“Lets go, we’ve got a lot of things to discuss.”

Now that was an understatement, but Demeter nodded her head in agreement nonetheless. With a few nervous glances towards her brother and nephew, Demeter hastily flung the door open and removed herself from her daughters shop.

There was a thick fog around surrounding the city. It felt ominous and appropriate for the arrival of their Elders. It's like the beginning of those horror movies Persephone forced me to watch.

Stagnant air meet her nose and the Goddess shuddered. "Taxi!" Demeter hollered, flapping her hands in the air like a mad woman. She possessed few earthly possessions, and though none of them were a car. Usually she would have walked towards her destination but the sudden presence of the Titans made her think twice about it.

Before one taxi pulled over to let her in, She swore she could hear voices drifting around her. Drifting through her as well, which sounded odd even to her, but it was how exactly how she felt. Something grim and dark traveling through her human body and straight to the mortal soul she held within her.

"There's a big tip if that meter never goes under 70" She offered, slipping into the backseat.

When the taxi dropped her off in front of the house her heart swelled with relief. "Persephone will be inside. Safe and whole just like she left." Her thoughts were becoming more prayer like by the minute. For a moment in the cab she actually considered asking Zeus to send her in the Underworld for awhile until they dealt with the Titans.

The thought didn't last long however. As she strolled casually through the thick door frame, passing both Athena and her brother without a wave, she dropped her purse to the ground and began calling out her daughters name.

"PERSEPHONE? ARE YOU HERE? PERSEPHONE?"

No response , and Demeters heart began to beat rapidly. A nervous chill spread over her body, and Demeter's last bit of sanity for the day began to wither away. When she spotted Hermes wandering around the house the emitted a shrill yell over towards the youngest Immortal.

"Hermes, is my daughter here? Why hasn't she come to greet me yet, something must be wrong! Go find her boy."

Her tone grew less worried and more angry as she continued speaking, reaching over to shake the boys shoulders as if that would help him find the answer easier.

Cronus

Patience was not something Cronus was known for, and his was growing thin with every loud ticking of the dining room Grandfather clock.

His anger subsided the minute Hyperion and Oceanus returned from their task and stood before their younger brother. “Our little message has been sent, to say they were surprised to see me would be an understatement.”

Cronus chuckled slightly but his momentary mirth fell flat the minute Hyperion questioned him once more. "Am I sure? Dear brother, I was sure the minute I devoured my children. I was sure the moment they rebelled against me and cast me from my rightful throne."

He stood out of his chair and threw his fellow titans a smile so full of malice that it hardly seemed like a smile at all.

"I'm more than sure "

Oceanus stood from his own chair and clapped his hands delightedly. "What's our next move then Brother?"

Cronus chewed on his bottom lip for a moment. “Action." He declared at last before stepping away from the table he and his kin had sat around and waving a hand to order his brothers and sister to rise along with him. "Theia and Iapetus, with me. It's time we left a mark while my children are away rejoicing in their mortal lives. Hyperion, lead us once more to Ambrosia."

Epimethius shot a scowl and challenged his Uncle." Again to the flower shop. Uncle, what do you hope to achieve by going there?" Cronus was in too much of a good mood to scold his nephew, but he allowed a response. "They don't expect us back there again. More than likely they've all left anyways to report to Zeus of our sudden appearance in their world."

A confused expression made it's way on the Titans face."So..?"

The Titan Lord sighed and attempted to elaborate. "So we're going to be the first to attack while they've scampered off to tattle on us idiot."

Rapid blinking of his blue eyes made the Titan look even more moronic. "But how are we going to attack if none of them are there?"

River Styx, this boy is still an idiot."Just shut up and watch the news, alright? His deep voice ended the chance of Epimethius asking any questions

"Let's go.."
He barked hoarsely, before he crossed the threshold of his new home and the mortal world.

Ambrosia was a sweet little shop, painted with all the colors he imagined a delicate flower like his granddaughter loved the most.

Such a shame it was going to burn.

"Theia! Hurry up with that gasoline, I don't have all fucking day for this." The Titan bellowed, watching as his sister poured two containers they had taken from their garage around the shop. "Get it everywhere. I want enough fire to light up the city. It's going to make big news boys and girls, big news." While his sister headed his command, he turned towards where the his elder brother was standing, looking on as if the whole affair bored him.

"Done." Theia dropped the last container and wiped her hands on the sides of her jeans, looking toward Cronus for further direction. He gave an approving nod before signaling towards his brother to bring in the last step.

Two struggling bodies; one male and one female, were dragged inside by the Titan of morality. He threw the two wiggling creatures onto the ground and watched along with Cronus as they struggled to free themselves of the rope binds which held their hands and feet. "What the fuck are you doing! Let us go you fucking psychos." The female of the two hissed, still wiggling much to Cronus's amusement.

"Alright, let's get out of here." Cronus declared as he stepped over the two humans and towards his brothers and sister. When all four were together outside, he would take out the small silver lighter he had found in the house days before. Eris had spent a week explaining the magic the human world has created, but nothing fascinated him as much as fire.

When he switched the lighter on and flung it through the glass window he had shattered previously to get into the shop, he watched as the screams of his hostages began even before the gas met the flame.

The fire engulfed the shop and Cronus let out a hoot of joy. His hands clapped together in excitement and he gave a shove towards both of his brother and sister in excitement. "See how it burns? So quickly! These mortals might be useful after all." Already he could hear the sounds of other come closer probably wanting to investigate what was happening. The screams of anguish from inside the building were fading as the tiny shop fell to the flames.

"Let's go home."

Demeter

Demeter found herself looking at Persephone with a gentle expression after she finished glaring at Zeus. The corners of her mouth lifted and her dimples appeared.

"Persephone.." She started, slipping back into her motherly tone even though the evidence of her anger was still obvious in the way a blue vein in her neck continued throbbing.

"You know how unfair this is don't you? This is supposed to be my time with you. "She complained, pressing her lips into a childish pout. She allowed a small tear to trickle down her cheek in effort to keep up the saddened facade. Her daughter was usually weak to tears, more so her mothers than anyone elses.

It probably would have worked to if her brother hadn't made his extremely inappropriate entrance. She rubbed the tear away and crossed her arms as she looked him over.

His human form was, as usual, as dark and menacing as the place he called home. He wore a fur coat that she could only assume was real (if he could kill a man she was sure he would have no qualms wearing a dead animal.) There was also something annoying to her about the way he held himself. His posture was perfect, but he walked into the building as if he owned the place.

"Cocky bastard." She mumbled under her breathe, making no attempt to hide her dislike for her brother. They both were past the false kindness some in-laws maintained for one another.

She was still staring at his menacing figure when she placed a cool moist hand on her daughters porcealin shoulder. When Hades made no movement, Demeter realized Zeus had not removed the ward that kept the monster from seeing her child.

"Come on dear," She murmured persuasively , her voice as low as possible as she tried not to catch Hades attention as he turned to speak to their younger brother.

Anxiously, she turned and looked at Persephone with her eyes silently pleading. "Quickly child, before your father expels the wards."

"Over there." She cringed the minute her brother lifted the ward. Though Persephone looked no different to her, she knew that her daughter was now exposed to the villain before her. "Keep a five foot distance monster." She snarled, standing in front of her blonde haired angel in a protective stance.

Cronus

"So then, we took a few containers of gas and burn the place down." Cronus once more let out a victorious laugh as he explained what his brother and sister had accomplished. He clapped a hand over his stomach. He was beginning to have cramps in his abdomen from all the things he had done today and the laughter that followed.

"Brother." Iapetus interrupted, raising a hand as if that made it more polite.

Cronus raised an eyebrow, but his mood was too great to chide his brother.

Iapetus cleared his throat and began. "So now we've alerted them of our presence, burned down a store, and killed a couple of mortals. " Cronus waited for the question that his companions had continually asked him since they were resurrected. "What next?"

Cronus sighed. "Must you all lack vision? Clearly my children will come to us now. No matter how stubborn my children are, they aren't fools. They'll find us." He declared.

Whether his brother found the answer he had been given satisfactory or he was wise enough to remain quiet, the Titan King didn't care. The sound of knocking took his attention away from his elder brother and made himself jump out of his chair. He traveled down through the hallway to where the large front door stood between him and the human world.

Unlike suspicious mortals, Cronus had no problems simply swinging the door open without peeping through the small hole in the middle door. Jerking the door back, he came face to face with a Immortal he had not suspected to see .

"Atlas." He said, running his fingers through his beard as he narrowed his eyes suspiciously towards his nephew. He opened the door enough so that his nephew was free to walk in if that's what he chose to do.

Atlas

As the door swung inwards Atlas gazed down at the figure of his uncle, while well build he still looked small in comparison. As their eyes locked onto one another, and they began to weigh each other up in a matter of seconds Cronus narrowed his suspicion filled eyes

“Atlas” Cronus said, stepping aside slowly to allow his nephew to cross the threshold.
“Cronus” Atlas replied, his voice deep and somber as he steps into the house before bowing his head slightly.

“You know why I am here, your rather subtle message to the Olympians was clear enough. You wish to start the old war again, and instead of biding your time you've struck the first blow against a single building of little worth for even less gain.” Atlas sighs and shakes his head.

“So who have you got by your side this time?” He grumbles as he examines the room into which his host as just guided him, raising an eyebrow at the clearly defined air of expense that each item of furniture and decoration exuded. Never a fan of over indulgence when it came too objects for himself or his household he couldn't understand the waste, but he knew that some items were worth the cost.

“What of my brothers, and father?” He continues, his voice softer than it was when he first entered yet still as deep. Atlas had no interest in prattling on with pleasantries, he simply wished to know the facts of the matter and see what destruction Cronus had planned for this city and all of its inhabitants.

Atlas

Atlas followed his uncle into the dining room, eyeing up the other titans seated around the table and as he spotted his young sibling he had to greatly resist the urge to lay into the wretch. He had doubted his younger brothers would be here but that one had come without the other shocked him greatly, for they were inseperable and had been since birth... for Epimetheus to have rejoined this cause spoke volumes to Atlas. Clearly something was being plotted between him and their brother; or his gift of foresight had shown him something important.

"I have to say, I'm surprised to see you here." Cronus admitted as he drank from his glass, his eyes never leaving his nephew.

The rumble of Atlas's voice was always deep and threatening even at the best of times, always sounding like he was about to burst into a furious rage even at his calmest, and when he spoke it was at a steady growl “I had to come. I've spent the better part of three millennia free to walk upon the surface of Gaia, and I don't want to wonder if today will be the day that someone binds me in chains beneath the earth or chained to the sky once again, and staying hidden it would be a matter of time before you or your son came for those without a side.” Atlas looked back at his uncle, not taking a seat but standing behind the one at the far side of the table to Cronus.

There was a moments silence before he shook his head and sighed deeply “I'll listen to what you have to say Cronus.” he said, his hands resting on the back of the chair till his words had settled, but still did not sit, prefering to stand.

In all honesty it was always an odd sensation for him to sit or do anything that was not standing, as it never felt right and always made him feel out of sorts; unless it was with his family of course. But old habits die hard he supposed.

Demeter

Hades threats did little to quell her simmering anger, but she held her tongue. Hitting her child was not the solution, she was already aware of this.

Thankfully Zeus had the sense that Demeter did not at the moment to lead the Harvest Goddess away from their daughter and brother. While her blue eyes still remained on Hades dark figure, she listened to Zeus's soothing words.

"He's just mad, but you must leave them alone for the rest of the dinner. You will have Persephone back soon enough"

She sighed. "You are correct, but still..." she lifted her hand to run her long fingers through her crimson locks, " to see our child with that Devil even after all these years always makes me feel troubled." Even as she spoke, she could feel her brothers hands kneading into her back in a comforting manner. She did not shy away from his touch, but the sudden feeling of someone watching them made the Goddess take a single step back.

"Darling," Hera's dangerous voice cooed, "I think everyone's arrived. Perhaps we should have everyone seated?" she asked. Demeter took another step back in order to get the full view of Zeus and Hera's mortal forms. In her opinion, they suited one another perfectly. The King and Queen of the Gods were as different as night and day, but their differences are what made their marriage enviable (besides Zeus's countless indiscretions).

Before the Queen left their brothers side, she shot Demeter a look that could have matched Hades in coldness. Message received sister, he's your husband Demeter thought, but did nothing except giving her brother and his wife a brief nod. "I'll go wait in the dining room ." She said quite glumly, gathering long ends of her dress in hand before walking towards the dining hall.

A ripples of goosebumps made their way over Demeter's body when she spotted the final Immortal, and the most important for tonights events. Apollo was chatting with his twin, with no trace of his frightening grimace he had bore in Persephone's shop hours ago.

She could only hope that was a good sign.

Cronus

“I had to come. I've spent the better part of three millennia free to walk upon the surface of Gaia, and I don't want to wonder if today will be the day that someone binds me in chains beneath the earth or chained to the sky once again, and staying hidden it would be a matter of time before you or your son came for those without a side.”

Cronus could hear the bitterness in his nephews voice as he spoke and his own mirrored it. " We've all had our own troubles Atlas. Need I remind you of your brothers trouble with a certain bird devouring his liver?"

The boy, for that was what he would always be to the elder Titan, was not a favorite of Cronus's. He cleared his throat and folded his hands neatly across his lap before speaking to each and every Titan in attendance. "Brothers and sisters," he began, "we have only struck a minor blow to the Olympians. It is true of course that the burning of my granddaughters shop was not the wildest of plans" he shot a look over towards Atlas, as if daring him to speak, but continued before any could get a word in, "this was only the first step of many to overthrow our foes and to once again take our rightful place in the heavens."

Now he stood, though he lifted a hand to signal he wished none of his kin to rise along with him. He began to walk around the table, his hands now clasped behind his back as he paced.

"We require a sacrifice."

"A sacrifice?" Epimethius questioned, not bothering to raise his hand as he blurted out the question.

"An Immortal sacrifice my dear nephew." Cronus smiled at his dimwitted kin, not bothering to scold him for interrupting his speech. "We need to show the Olympians exactly how serious we are. "

A murmur swept across the table and Cronus raised a hand to continue. "The only question is who should be killed first. Clearly the more powerful of the God's is not the wisest of choices," he paused and his wicked smile began to form over his rugged face. "Atlas." He called out, staring directly with his beady eyes at the only standing Titan in his presence. "Who do you think should be the first to die, nephew?"

Atlas

Cronus's voice echoed his own bitterness as he replied " We've all had our own troubles Atlas. Need I remind you of your brothers trouble with a certain bird devouring his liver?" and while his words were true they only served to stoke the fury that had built within Atlas' heart upon his arrival, for the pain of his brothers betrayal had never eased in the long millennia since the Titanomachy; even if the warning that he had tried to pass on then seemed more apt now all things considered. Damn my oath and damn Herakles Atlas thought as he heard Cronus continuing what he clearly assumed to be a eloquently crafted speech to build the moral of his fellows into the blood fury that they had so long ago.

"Brothers and sisters, we have only struck a minor blow to the Olympians. It is true of course that the burning of my granddaughters shop was not the wildest of plans" he shot a look over towards Atlas, causing the titan to raise an eyebrow slowly understanding that the look was clearly a warning for his earlier criticism, and daring him to add more but continuing before any could be uttered; How typical of his uncle, always one to let rebellion seem an option but never allow it. "this was only the first step of many to overthrow our foes and to once again take our rightful place in the heavens."

Atlas watched Cronus pace slowly around the table, clearly taking the measure of all those present. When he passed behind the back of the skybearer it caused the hairs on the back of his neck to stand on end, his head turning slightly to watch his uncle pass; clearly readying himself for treachery but when Cronus continued round the table it did little to put him back at ease.

"We require a sacrifice." He said at last.

"A sacrifice?" Epimethius questioned, causing him to direct his gaze towards his young sibling as his rage built once more. Control did not come easily to Atlas, but time had taught him patience and the thought of his wife cooled his fire.

"An Immortal sacrifice my dear nephew." Cronus smiled at the young titan before continuing, and oddly enough not rebuking him for the interruption. Atlas was greatly wary of the direction this speech had taken. "We need to show the Olympians exactly how serious we are."

As murmuring swept across the table amongst the other titans Atlas simply stared at his uncle without a word, while Cronus raised a hand to silence them so that he could continue. "The only question is who should be killed first. Clearly the more powerful of the God's is not the wisest of choices," Cronus paused and as the wicked smile began to form over his rugged face and the skybearer locked eyes with his uncle he knew that he had been a fool to come here and that the noose had begun to tighten; even before he ended on the fateful question. "Atlas. Who do you think should be the first to die, nephew?"

It was his next few words which would seal his fate, and decide if he was to be an ally or an obstacle in their great war. While he did not wish to be the former and the latter would see him dead without a doubt he needed to make a choice for the moment.

"Depends... The lords of the sea, sky and below would certainly be beyond our grasp as you say for they would prove too much at present. And if you go after the Harvest goddess again then you're likely to have them already prepared, also if you try for the daughter then her husband will most likely march across the world and see it burn in the name of revenge. So not a wise choice. And the same would be true for their other sister, after all she is his wife, however bitter at him she may be." Atlas shakes his head before continuing "The solar and lunar twins may be an option but they are rarely seen amongst their kin save for family gatherings due to preferring their own domains, and they would likely see it coming and escape any plans against them. She of the grey eyes will prepare herself for anything we could throw against her, and I would say her warmongering little brother would do the same but he is most likely to be too busy in his sisters bed. The messenger would warn the others the moment we could reach him and be beyond our touch before we'd notice. The smith would be an interesting choice as his armoury could serve you well in the coming conflict, but he would have the same with which to defend it."

"If it wasn't for the fact that neither has been seen since I held the sky I would suggest Hestia or Dionysus from the pantheon. I remember hearing that Hestia had stepped down from Olympus and Dionysus vanished without a trace." He sighs, looking at each of the gathered titans in turn before speaking again "If you want one to name, then the self claimed goddess of Love. She will be lost in her lovers arms while her husband stands mute, and it is within that division of their kin that they are at their weakest. And you may even manage to remove two of their pieces from the board, three if you're lucky but I doubt the last." Atlas finished with a low growl before folding his arms slightly to look back at those gathered, primarily focusing upon his uncle with cold eyes.
