Human Companion: Trista
Fucuello adores Trista to no end, and feels that he is indebted to her. He treats her like a sibling and friend and will sometimes tease her. He may have a filter with others, but with Trista he is brutally blunt. He honestly speaks his mind when he’s around her and she does the same. They see each other s equals and not that one is better then the other.

Tristas father had found Fucuello when in a fierce battle at the edge of Cree with Diablo's forces. He came out victorious but discovered that within the fray another casualty had been dealt. A female black unicorn, his mother. Fucuello stood weeping over his mother’s cold body moaning the most wretched and pitiful sounds. His mother was gone. And not one thought of his future crossed his mind; all he cared about was the death of his mother. He missed her. He wanted her back. It was then a man came to him, and comforted him. He offered to take Fucuello and give him a human companion. He didn’t want to go at first, but he knew he would die out here alone. And his mother wouldn’t want that. He agreed on one condition. That they would bury his mother.
After the sad deed was done, Fucuello was taken into the new home and faced with a challenge. The girl had no idea how to take care of him. She failed horribly and was probably the clumsiest person he’d ever seen. He had to remind himself that she was just a child..just a child…still…would he be ok? It took him a while to get used to her presence, but it wasn’t long till he found her hard-working, klutzy nature amusing. But…he probably bored the girl, he didn’t talk much. He couldn’t bring himself too talk, he was still recovering from the death of his most precious person. For a couple days he was mopey about the fact that he was the only one having fun. Looking up at the vast blue sky, he wondered how he could return the favor. She was a bright ball of sunshine to him, trying so hard for him…he felt bad that he wasn’t putting the same amount of effort.
That’s when it hit him.
He was going to teach her how to ride. To his surprise, the girl caught on quick, and her entire outlook on him grew. She couldn’t leave him alone after that, and made him her pride and joy. It was sort of embarrassing to him at first, to be loved so much but..he kinda liked it.
It wasn’t till long that his happiness and joy was interrupted. Trista slowly started coming to his stable more and more until she practically lived there. At the wonderful new birth of her sister, Memmy, her existence was forgotten. And he couldn’t help but feel like it was some what his fault. He could always feel the mother giving him nasty looks, the tension was always there but Trista never noticed. She was too occupied by him. He had hoped since she was a mother, her love for her daughter would go past the unrealistic ‘reality’ that she wanted. But it didn’t. And when Trista finally noticed what was going on, Fucuello was there to comfort her. He couldn’t understand how a mother could be so heartless. His own mother had bent her back up and down for him and his siblings(siblings who had already grown up and made a life of heir own before his mothers death). His mother had risked her life for him, shielding him from that war zone. He had an incredible respect for mothers, but not Tristas. She had disappointed him too.
When the time came for them to go to Ryder Academy, Fucuello was happy to get out of the place just a much as Trista was. He was practically a prisoner there. He was a bit sad to say goodbye to Tristas father, he was the man who had saved his life and he hoped he would see him again. Fucuello smiled at the fact that they would be ahead of all the rest and could see that they would have way more fun there then at this ‘home.’ She and him would make a new family and friends there. A fresh start.
