character. The Beta
age. 7 years
gender.
breed. Half-wolf, half-wolfhound
pack. North
appearance. She is tall and strong, with extremely long legs and a slender, running build. Her fur is naturally gray, but there is a peppering of white on her narrow, pointed muzzle, along her spine and on her legs; the only signs of her age. She is very well-muscled, built for running and fighting. Her eyes are a deep, intelligent brown. Her tail is darker than the rest of her body.
markings. She has a deep scar across her left shoulder. This battle-scar left her with a slight limp, but nothing that will prevent her from being an asset to the pack.
personality. She is a relatively playful dog. Mature and responsible, she is always looking out for the pack, but she doesn't mind a game now and then. She is always eager to play with the pups in the pack. She wishes she had her own, but she had never found a suitable dog for a mate. She is very intelligent, and not afraid to speak up to the alpha. She has problems with chaos, and hates it when things start to fall apart in the pack. Sometimes, she can be a bit grumpy, but is only violent with enemies and traitors. She is a good teacher for pups, because of her unending patience with them.
fears. She is terrified of water, because she fell off the docks and almost drowned as a pup. She has no problem with rain, however; just large bodies of water.
likes. Pups, hunting, running, fighting.
dislikes. Swimming, rain, death, pain.
strengths. Her large size makes her a good fighter, and her long legs make her a good runner.
weaknesses. She is scared of water. She is getting older, so she does not heal as fast as some of the other dogs.
mini-biography. Born into the pack, she has always served them with intense loyalty. She was a fighter before she became beta, and gave the pack every service they asked of her, fighting whatever threatened. She taught several generations of pups, and nearly gave her life several times. During one battle with the Southern pack, she received a deep gash on her left shoulder, which left her with a permanent; if minor; limp. The wound also prevented her from swimming to safety when she fell off the docks, and she has been terrified of water ever since. This wound did not stop her from becoming the loyal, protective beta that she is today.
