mini-biography. Rita was born from a pet dog, but the owners couldn't keep the puppies. They set a box out on the street full of the puppies. There was a sign that said, "Puppies $5" next to it, and for the first few days, a puppy or two gotten taken each day. After that, the owners crossed out the "$5" and wrote underneath it, "Free." The rest of her brothers and sister got taken and for the next few days she stayed in the box. It started to rain and her box filled up with water before breaking down and she was washed into the street. She stayed a lone stray for a few months after, but stumbled upon the North Pack one day after scrounging for food in a garbage can in the park.
