"Well... well. The boy knows his information. To bad I'm out numbered." He said with a chuckle. He turned around. "Or am I?" He asked and suddenly Jacob saw his shadow rise up in the air and form another of himself but went besides Max. "Now won't you mind? I got bored in the forest and nobody started coming. I thought I killed them all. You people are such a drag." The shadow beneath his feet swirled in the air and formed into a shadow like snake. Now I got to remember... this guy sucks energy with this scythe of his. "If you want to die like all the rest..." His eyes suddenly became black. "Come at me and know why I got the name."

Oh no! Oh no, oh no, oh no! If they shed blood... No, if they got hurt, Mabel wouldn't know what would happen to her! Fear running up her spine caused Mabel stutter,"Hey uhm, Jacob? Guy? There's no need to fight, he was just walking through, I don't think he would do-", then she heard the boy say,' Die like the rest'. Freezing up, Mabel suddenly remembered the smell of blood a few hours back. Did that boy k-kill them?! Mabel's hands clenched into fists. "You killed innocent people?", her voice strangely now as cold as ice. "Did you?", she repeated, now looking directly at him.

"Your the one that smelled the blood of others even though I washed their scent a bit so I can't lie, I did kill innocent peole.... or just other people that wanted to kill me. I kill in self defense. If they would leave me alone in the forest they would never have died." He said with a chuckle. He looked directly into Mabel's eyes. Then looked around. His eyes went back to their original blue. And the shadows dropped. But he was still wary. The shadows would come defend him if something bad started.

Jeph forced his feet to halt their forward marching, and spun on his heel, returning to the group with an air of innate curiosity at the mention of the demon of the forest. Tilting his head to the side slightly, he removed his sunglasses to get a clearer view of the being in question,narrowing his eyes through his mask of hair. "You're the demon? The demon? The one from the forest?" He quiered, showing his inquisitive nature through his actions. In truth, he was trying to expand his intellectual horizons, trying to graph out how the world around him fit together. "If you are, why do you live in the forest? Is it where you're bound, or do you just like it there? I would assume you like it there, even if you are bound there or something. It seems like a nice place; quiet and isolated, full of everything you need for the most part. Is it nice there?" He continued, spouting questions in a rapid-fire manner, barely pausing for breath between questions. He did this when he was truly interested in a subject, much to the annoyance of the people to whom he asked the questions.

He looked at jeph with an annoyed stare. "My life is my own to live..... if I have reasons to live their I won't tell you." He turned around and left. The shadow-like Jacob melted down to the floor being dismissed. What a really annoying and horrible mess of kids. He sighed and went around with his hood up to look for the mayor of the small town. He looked pissed at everybody who came near him.

Mabel let out a sigh of releif.

Thank god... he only killed those people in self-defence... Wait a minute. Demon!? No way! What did Mabel's grandmother tell her about demons...? Mabel couldn't remember. Oh well. Might as well be friendly to the guy.

Mabel trotted after him, but still keeping a distance. "Hey, It's not nice to shove away averybody who takes an intrest in you.", she called out softly to him. "What's your name?", she added.

He stopped an looked back at her. "Go back to your other friends.... I will always live alone.... Because I am just a monster." Then he turned around and left. He then told her "Even my parents thought I was a monster... thats why they died. I live for no reason than the will to live. I should have ended my life years ago. But pitifulness for myself made me alive. Now go back to your other friends.... I don't need anybody."
