Background: The youngest daughter of a moderately well-off family, Dulciana spent most of her life just going with the flow. She never really had any major passions or aspirations of her own, so she just planned to grow up and work in the family bakery for the rest of her life. Due to the large number of children in her family, the Sweets were appointed by the town to sacrifice one of the children to the witch, as they would still have plenty left over to carry on the family name. After a long family discussion, she gives her consent to be offered up as a sacrifice, thinking that since she has no special talents or remarkable features she can at least make a name for herself as a martyr while her more talented siblings live on. Her one regret is leaving behind her beehives. The bees are probably the only creatures that ever made her feel truly needed.
