Personality: Despite his rather frightening appearance, Takami is actually a very shy man. He isn't the biggest fan of people, and is often very quiet. If he has something important to say, he'll say it, but he won't try to fill up the silence with conversations if he doesn't have anything meaningful to say. He is a great believe in 'right' and 'wrong', and if he thinks that something is immoral, he will not take any part in it, even if it means directly disobeying the orders of his superiors. Takami has no tolerance for people who just kill for fun,nor for those who obey orders without questioning them. He has a surprisingly good relationship with Sanbi, his tailed beast, and is able to use all of Sanbi's powers without losing control of his body.
Appearance: Takami is a tall man, standing at 6'4" in height. He has a sturdy, muscular build, and certainly isn't the lightest of all people. Takami's hair is a vibrant red-orange colour, and is incredibly long. He wears it tied in multiple long braids that are all tied together in a ponytail. His eyes are brown in colour, but they have a slightly reddish tint, possibly a trait that comes from him being a jinchuuriki. He has very pale skin, with curious purple markings tattooed onto his face. Takami's ears are both pierced, and his is almost always wearing long purple, feather-like earrings in them.
Weapon: His main weapon is a claw-like arm guard that goes over his left arm. Takami can manipulate each of the claw's 'fingers' perfectly, and they are all tipped in a razor sharp blade. Like most other shinobi, he also carries shuriken and kunai knives, although he prefers not to use them.
Chakra Type: Suiton (Water), Fūton (Wind)
Kekkei Genkai: Ice Release. Takami is able to combine his wind and water chakra natures to form ice that he can manipulate by the power of his mind alone.
History: Sanbi was rampaging through the village on the day that Takami was born. Had he not been born on that day, he would have been no-one special, and would have just grown up to be a normal person. Sadly for Takami, he was born on that day. Out of sheer luck - or perhaps, sheer bad luck - Takami was chosen to be the jinchuuriki for sanbi to stop it from rampaging. Since that day, the village has always kept Takami at an arm's distance, terrified that he might lose control of the biju and that sanbi would start rampaging again.
This didn't matter too much to Takami, since he was already a shy man, so he used the fact that people didn't talk to him as a chance to practice his ninjutsu. As he grew more skilled over the years, he managed to become incredibly good at using his clan's kekkei genkai. He rose to the ranking of jōnin, and now serves his village as one. The Mizukage doesn't trust him enough to give him higher ranking jobs, but that is okay with Takami, since the higher ranking jobs usually involved killing people, which was something he didn't want to do. Takami uses the missions he goes on as a way for him to get better at ninjutsu and taijutsu, and for getting to know sanbi better.
