I have long served the Darkness and the dark lady. And long have I feasted, the hound of Darkness, the voice of the night. I serve.

Name- Illisar
Age- The age of the Hound of Darkness is uncertain though he is figured in many myths and was around when the fae courts split
Gender- Believed to be male though mainly from the voice and the gaping maw filled with pointy teeth that is shown when he feeds.

Appearance- Lord Illisar is known to be tall and thin if only because the robes that drape around his form are baggy and hang off him rather than being pulled tight around him. His movement has a predator's grace to it but does not appear to be refined or polished in anyway simply a natural almost animal grace. The robes that hang from him are deceptively difficult to pierce and their red and black colors appear to be the embodiment of blood and darkness respectively. His eyes have never been seen covered as they are by the great metal mask/helm that covers his face including his mouth except when he feeds. Illisar's mouth is diseased looking and far larger than either a normal human's would be, the lips do not fully cover the teeth when it is closed and the teeth themselves are long and pointed.

He looks much like that picture, only his mask has sliding metal plates that also cover his mouth. (Sorry for using a mouth of sauron concept picture, it was the closest I could find and just meant to give an idea of what I mean when describing his appearance.)

Personality

Personality- The Lord Illisar is a cunning and ruthless creature. His mind appears to though be twisted and he seems to be functional while insane. Much of what he says is insane ramblings and talk of the constant feasting that is to come. However while twisted he is no truly insane and the insane rambling and muttering is primarily a mask to prevent others from seeing him as more than the Hound of the Dark lady. Admittedly he is rather obsessed with feeding. Regardless of his questionable sanity the Lord Illisar is dutiful and as his loyalty dates back to the time when the fey split he is one of few truly trusted by the Dark lady.

Hunting Style-It is for such events that Illisar exists. Being unable to hunt the mortals through the years of isolation has been difficult and as a result when unleashed the drive of Illisar to hunt the humans knows almost no bounds. Savage but cunning the Hound of Darkness hunts the humans with a ferocity that has in the past led to unfortunate incidents with other fey as the only individuals who he will cease a hunt for are the Darklady and the forest king. Notably his hunting is less trickery and more savagery than most of the fey as he prefers to if possible ride his prey into the ground and break them physically more so than mentally before killing them. He also does truly kill most of those he brings down, though on occasion he will spare one who was a particularly fun hunt to only service and not the feast of the flesh.

Magic-

Advantages

Instill Terror- The Lord Illisar possesses the capacity to loose a shriek that makes all but the strongest willed humans and some of the lesser fey as well flee in terror from him. This shriek can be heard from up to several miles away.

Minor Illusions- While this is not his strongest skill the Hound of Darkness can conjure up minor visions and shadows as well as phantom sounds. As his skill at this is minimal his illusions are fairly easily pierced by those who concentrate on such things and have strong minds. But when being chased people rarely have time to analyze things closely.

Feasted- He has feasted upon human flesh for untold thousands of years and it is from him that some of the ancient myths of cannibalistic powers came. Illisar is able to physically move at superhuman speeds for brief second bursts and his senses are incredibly keen being able to scent specific individuals from miles away and pinpoint them almost exactly provided he they are either bleeding or he has tasted their blood and or flesh.

Dread Steed- The Hound of Darkness can bring forth a shadowy copy of a horse from thin air while mounted upon this horse can cross very small bodies of water that he otherwise would have been incapable of crossing, his dread steed also never tires though bright lights shined upon it force it to vanish as suddenly as it appears. (This only applies to small trickles or puddles, anything more than a trickle he cannot pass even when mounted.

Weaknesses- He adheres to all the rules of the wild hunt. In addition he specifically can be driven away by fire and should he be immolated it will function much as a lethal blow from a pure iron weapon or tool. And his true magic limited in potency.

Equipment

Weapons- Lord Illisar uses a large number of weapons in the course of his hunting, including but not limited to a bow that shoots arrows tipped with obsidian, A glass sword that only a strike from a pure iron tool or weapon can shatter, And a long hunting spear made from human bones.

History

Personal Bio- Always has the Lord Illisar feasted. When the world was young and the fey less divided he feasted upon humanity, gorging himself. When the fey began to schism into courts he naturally and immediately without any deliberation chose to join with the court that allowed his appetites and even encouraged them. As a unique fey being neither an unseelie one of those who would be considered truly a monster race and with his unwavering and demonstrated loyalty to the Dark lady Irridihwe he has risen high in the court. The fact that he makes a useful enforcer with his viciousness and unquestioning loyalty as long as he can feast also has helped.
