Personality: True to his animal, Eric is loyal to his friends. He is also very talkative, but immediately stops talking whenever someone else does, giving them his full attention. He tends to be cheerful, but can be a bit short-tempered at times. He also has the tendency to try to be a leader, not ambitiously, but because he's trying to be helpful. This doesn't always turn out well though.
Fears: Water, the death of his friends.
Likes: Meat, making friends, fun, adventure, interesting things.
Dislikes: Boring things, being rejected as a friend
History: Eric was born separately, as a branch family who had moved to America. However, he discovered his curse, and moved back to [wherever...] to meet the rest of the Koichi family. He heard about the cat's curse, and feels bad for whoever it is. He really wants to be friends with the Cat, even though they've never met. Eric thinks that the family should all get along, and also doesn't have any dislike for cats in general.

Eric Koichi's Story

She walks back to the house and up the stairs hearing it creak from the weight of the guys. "See I toldyou-wait is someone under there?" She asks with a worried face. She looks under and sees the girl. She opens her mouth and tries to find words to help her out., "Trust us,you're safe now. We can help you." She saids looking at the girl with soft caring eyes,knowing how it feels to be alone and afraid of the world.
That was of course before she met the others. She smiles at the girl forgetting about how she may have just acted like an idiot or people seeing her act so soft,sweet,and caring. She reminds me of myself a little,I'm not leaving until I help her. She tells herself going to keep her word. "I...I'm Maya. ." She saids trying to comfort the girl,to make her feeling safe and like she could trust them.

Eric gave a woof before changing back into a person. He threw on his clothes quickly, and nodded to Kaji. "Here, why don't I go with her? But don't tell anyone just yet. Let them have their fun and we'll explain when you guys get back." He ran out of the house, trying to catch up with Maya. As soon as he made it home, Maya had just gotten her a drink of water, but seemed to awkwardly not know what to do. Eric gave her a nod. "I'll take it from here, go ahead and grab yourself a drink or something." He then went into the kitchen, grabbed some leftovers from the fridge and brought them over to the couch. He kneeled down next to the girl, smiling as he said, "Hey, I'm Eric, the dog. Sorry for scaring you earlier, but don't worry; I don't bite. Do you want to tell us what happened so that you were crying under a bed in a haunted house? Or would you like something to eat first?" He gently offered her the bowl of noodles.
Eric smiled a bit at Maya's move, but he stuck his pinky in as well. "I'll also jump in on this promise, and vouch for our leader, Kaji. You met him. Yeah, he's scary sometimes, but I know at heart, he's a really nice guy. To answer your questions yes, we are indeed all like you, in this house. I'm the dog that you met earlier." At the latter statements, Eric made a face. "Well, no, we don't know how to NOT turn into our animals...just avoid hugging someone of the opposite gender. So, for example, if you hugged me right now, Amai." And at the final question, his face turned into a bittersweet smile. "Well, I lived in America, before I came here. Actually, my parents knew. They loved me anyway, in fact, they thought it was kinda cute. After all, who doesn't like dogs? But, they died in a fire in our house, and in their will they told me to come here...and it's been great. Everyone here's super nice, once you get to know them."
Eric heard someone come in, and figured he should check it out; everyone should've been at the haunted house. He was honestly glad that they didn't make him go, Maya was right after all. He wasn't very fond of making people feel bad in any way. He smiled at Amai. "I'm just going to go check out who that is, just stay here, and call if you need something, okay? I'll probably be back in a few minutes." Eric's fairly sensitive ears picked up the familiar footsteps of...a girl. Too light to be a man. He strolled into the garden, ducking back behind the wall when he saw Miku looking wistful at the pond. "Hmm...maybe I'll surprise her and cheer her up." He snuck up behind her, and shook her gently. "Boo!"
"W-WAH!!" Miku screams out, her body tensing as something suddenly grabs her from behind. She quickly turns, her deep brown puppy eyes wide in fear. Her heart was thudding so hard against her chest it felt it may burst out. Miku gasps at the realization that it was only Eric, and sighs heavily, putting her hand against her chest to calm her beating heart. "E-eric! Y-you scared me..." She mumbles, her body still slightly ridged. "What are you doing here?..I thought everyone went to the Haunted House...I didn't realize anyone was still here..." She states, her heart finally beating at a normal pace. A soft smile finally forms across her lips.
Miku shakes her head. "Oh, no, I wasn't sad or anything...I was just playing with the koi fish..." She states, glancing down towards the fish which had seemed to calm down a bit. Their beautiful scales shimmered under the water as the light hit them. Miku especially liked the red and white ones. They were her favorite of the koi fish. Her attention is suddenly caught, however, by his statement of them having found the zodiac pig. Her eyes quickly snap back towards him, her eyes wide. "R-really? Is she alright?" Miku asks with worry in her voice. What had she been doing at the haunted house by herself? Miku walks off into the kitchen to see how the girl was doing; to see if she was ok. But her eyes gaze back towards Eric as he states what Yuji and Kazu were doing. "Do they think that's wise?" She asks, finally entering the kitchen. Her eyes gaze over the new member of the family....
Eric followed Miku into the kitchen. "Obviously not the smartest thing, but they went off before I could stop them and Amai's still here..." His eyes then lit up and it was almost as if a lightbulb had appeared above his head. "Buuuut, now that you're here!" He gave her a gentle touch on the arm, nodded, and grabbed his coat before running out of the house. "Take care of Amai I'll be back after I know everyone's okay food's in the fridge love you bye." Eric dashed towards the house, having no idea what he just said, but hoping he got his point across. As made his way to the house, he passed by a girl in a ripped kimono, looking lost. He did a double take, and jogged up to her. "Sayu? I almost didn't recognize you! What are you doing out here, and why is your kimono missing the bottom?" He scratched at his nose a bit, before taking off his coat and wrapping it around her. Eric shuffled awkwardly before mumbling, "You'll catch a cold like that.."
Miku stares in dumb founded shock as Eric simply blabblers out a few quick words and dashes out of the house, leaving her alone with the new member of the family. Her mouth lays agape in complete shock that he would do such a thing...Feeling, suddenly, slightly used, Miku became a little upset about it and could feel the sinking sadness in her chest. She let's out a huff, turning her eyes towards Amai. What did she expect?...That's probably all anyone did anyways; use her. Sometimes she just didn't notice it......"Um...well...hi..." She says, with a half-hearted smile.....
