Personality: Akashi is a very fun loving guy, and hates being cooped up anywhere. He has a nervous energy, and free-spirit about him that can easily make anyone tired. It's hard trying to keep up with him, but he does have his days where he feels like his energy is just drained. Usually he will have to stay inside and regain any lost energy, at this point and time he will not talk to anyone and act like a child. On his better days he is funny; although dense, and isn't good with focusing on one thing at a time. Although he prefers guys, he is a total flirt with girls and it's hard for him to show he actually cares for someone. When he does though, he gets jealous very easily but tends to hide it.

Fears: Akashi is a baby when it comes to things that go bump in the night, due to his naive nature everyone at least tries and freaks him about telling him stories about ghosts. He has been told upon multiple occasions that they were just stories, but he still refuses to believe them.

Likes: Bananas (that one is a given....), oranges, curry or anything spicy, dango

Dislikes: Seafood, bitter food, anything that tastes bland, rain, ghosts, math

History: As a kid, Akashi naturally had many friends but annoyed most of the teachers. He wasn't very studious and is constantly scolded by the rest of the family. Akashi doesn't let the curse get him down, and lives life to the best he can with this hindrance. During middle-school, he has wanted to date, but refrained from getting close to girls due to not wanting them to be scared. Even though he was branded as one of the 'popular' people, he tended to wander from group to group trying to fit in as best as he could as someone normal. He refuses to talk about his parents, or the rest of the family which he tries to distance himself from.

Akashi sighed as he dragged his backpack home, his friends idly chatting away as he let out another languid sigh. He slept through a lot of classes today because he couldn't get any sleep from the night before. Or maybe because he was on the internet? Either way, he grinned waving good-bye as he and his friends parted ways. Looking at his phone, he inwardly groaned. Sayu probably finished dinner by now, running towards the entrance of the house, he took off his shoes and threw the backpack on the ground.

"I'm hooommee~" Skidding into the hallway, he saw Eric go back into the kitchen. Fallowing the boy, he saw the table already set with bock choy and other foods. Liking his lips he went to his respective seat. It seemed like he was a bit late since Izaya was already home as well. "Looks good as always Sayu....or Eric, whatever, whoever made it." Suddenly remembering his manners, Akashi set down the pair of chopsticks waiting for the rest.

"So.....how's everyone's day been?" He asked cautiously.

Akashi wasn't surprised that Kazu didn't answer him, humming in silence he looked around the dinning area. He felt bad for Yuji at times because.....he seemed to be the weakest, in his opinion anyways. Trying to imitate what Kazu was doing with his chopsticks, he sighed helplessly as it flew across the table. Wrinkling his nose, his back straightened up a bit as he saw Kaji enter the area. Cocking his head to the side he ducked as a book went flying in Kazu's direction. That was a little to close for comfort.

"Hey, Kaji-san~" A cheeky smile still plastered on his face, "How was your day today?" He halfway hoped the man would answer him, he doubted it though. He tried hard to interact with the others of the house hold, but he seemed to take a liking to Sayu and Izaya more. The rest were hard to talk to.

"My day was wonderful, as per usual," Akashi said grinning. His sing-song voice echoing in the air, everyone was being unusually tense. Although he could understand, watching as Kazu seemed to be biting his tongue. Akashi made sure to know when to draw the line, but some of his fellow 'family members' didn't know when to. Giving a glance to Sayu, he saw her smile flee her face. Tapping his chopsticks, he looked towards the head of the family.

"Yeah, I'm starving. I missed lunch today," he said sheepishly, "that's my fault though. Hehehe......," trailing off, he looked towards the food getting his plate ready. He wasn't going to eat a lot knowing that the others still had to get some food. Taking a tentive bite, a smile still plastered on his face. Laughter rarely filled the house, because well......everyone seemed sad, bored, or tense. It wasn't fun, which was why going to school was the best outlet for the boy. Plus he could do track, which he loved. "The food tastes great, as usual," giving a bright smile towards Sayu.

Akashi watched as Eric lied for Kazu, he was glad the man took care of everyone. He seemed like the mama hen of the house, holding in a laugh he began to eat some more before patting his stomach in content. "Well, I better get to bed.......see you all tomorrow~" Gather his dishes, Akashi gave a bow to Kaji and Yuji before putting the dishes in the sink. Walking to the west side of the house, he finally let his smile fall as he dragged his feet. He was happy Kazu didn't get punished, but he felt so tired. He tried, he really did, to get others to talk to one another. So they weren't complete strangers living under a roof.

That didn't seem to be happening though, locking the door Akashi changed into some boxers and a loose t-shirt. Yawning, the monkey sprawled himself on the bed as his PSP was lying near him. Picking up the device, he began to play a game. Dinner was a disaster, like always. At least that was one thing he could always count on being the same.

Letting out a small yawn, Akashi crawled out from is room, okay, not literally and walked down the hallway rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Looking around, he noted that it was a lot more quite. His gaze looking towards the doors where the hot tub was. Opening them, he saw Kaji, Sayu and Eric. Although Eric looked like a bright tomato than anything, "Oh....hey guys, I should just..." trailing off, he slowly backed up trying not to look at them.

"Umm, have a nice time. Just don't stay up to late~" He added skipping back into the house closing the door. Everyone was probably home by now, except for Sachiko who had a night time job. Going to a halt, he let out a long sigh. Yup, definately time to go to bed, but first.....Going to Maya's room, he let out a knock. The last time he just opened up her door without knocking he got hit on the head.

"Maya, are you hungry~!" Remembering that some food was still left in the fridge.

She sees Akashi enter here room she looks at him with her big brown eyes. "Oh,yea.Be right there.And wow,you knocked this time" She saids in a joking way putting her book down and getting off her bed. She hits the ground with a thud forgetting to take off her shoes. She chuckles and puts her hair behind her ear.

She walks to the door and walks into the kitchen. She opens the fridge and takes out some food. For some strange reason she like to eat cold food ever since she could remember. She sits at the table and begans to eat her noodles. "Mmm,I can't believe I forgot to eat today." She saids out loud as a noodle hits her nose. She squents her nose and shakes her head. "Gross." She comments wipping off her nose.

Walking around the house, Akashi let Amaya go towards the kitchen. It seems everyone was now accounted for and fed for. Humming in satisfaction the monkey bounded his way back to his room and put on some regular clothes. There wasn't any particular spot he'd go out to, but it wasn't unusual of him to disappear at night or go for a walk. A -really- long walk. Twirling a piece of blonde hair, he slipped on his sneakers passing by the kitchen.

"Oh, hey Inori~ See you guys later," he called out shutting the front door. He was pretty sure Kaji was there also, but he didn't get a good look. Just a few strands of pink, letting out a yawn he was about to reach for the door handle till Yuji ran in. Dazed Akashi backed up and saw as Miku and Ren went into the house. Have they been out there all this time? Slightly worried, mostly curious though, Akashi went towards Yuji and cocked his head. Miku seemed to try and coax the boy into saying what happened.

"Yah, I want to know what happened?" Puffing out his cheeks, Akashi looked at the duo before turning back to the rat. "Did something bad happen? You shouldn't run...."

Kaji smiled to Maya, "Yeah my mood is quite frightning to myself too. But I guess It wouldn't hurt to have a heart sometimes right?" Maya looked as if she enjoyed the coffee, she did her dishes and thanked him. He replied with a wave, "Thanks for talking back to me, have a good sleep okay?" As she left Inori walked in grabbed something out of the cuboard and sat at the table. Kaji put his cup in the sink and smiled at Inori, "How was your day?"

Kaji heard comotion by the door, "Please excuse me Inori?" He said as he got up to investigate. As he got to the door, he saw Yuji on the floor breathing hard, with a crowd surrounding him. Kaji became angered and shoved his way through the kids. He picked Yuji from the floor, seeing how he looked to weak to do it himself, "Stop crowding him," Kaji hissed, " Ren, Miku go eat something! Akashi go about your business!" Kaji quickly carried Yuji to his room.

"Yes sir," Akashi grumbled before stepping outside. He didn't like being yelled at, especially from Kaji. Shivering, the monkey quickly left the house. The park, he thought grinning happily as he half-skipped down the street. He was sure Kaji could take care of Yuji, although the boy seemed scared to death.....shaking his head he stopped along a brick wall. Jumping up, he placed his hands out to balance himself. I wish Kaji was as nice as Eric, he thought solemnly. Checking his phone for any new texts, he saw some trees. Walking towards them, his shorts billowed as a strong gust knocked him off. Landing on his feet, he looked back.

The house was really big from here, wasn't really much of a surprise though. Heading down the street, he kept imagining how Yuji looked and how he was carried to Kaji's room. Shivering, he tried not to think of all the terrible things that could happen. Deep down Kaji had to care for them, right?

Akashi let out a long yawn, he didn't expect to stay out most of the night so when he checked his watch he inwardly groaned. Be late and locked out of school just to change into his uniform, or go and get punished. Whatever, going to the direction of the school he kicked a few rocks. Crap! Remembering he left his backpack, Akashi ran to the house bolting inside. Out of breath he saw as Kaji seemed to be in a bit snippy mood, before anyone could see him he gave a sorry look the Kazu, Eric, and Sayu. Who didn't seem to be matching. Creeping outside, he quickly went into a sprint. He wasn't going to get on Kaji's bad side again. He'd make sure of that.

Jumping in surprise, Akashi immediately backed up almost hitting a lamp post. Sighing in relief seeing that it was just Maya, he immediately straightened up and glared at her till he broke out smiling again. He couldn't really keep a serious face on for longer than a few seconds. Smiling was just second nature to him. "Hey there Maya, looks like you got me." Laughing, Akashi slowed down his pace. He was pretty sure that Maya was the only one who could keep up with him. Kaji to, but he wouldn't dare run away from the head of the house hold.

"Man, today's such a beautiful day," putting his hands behind his head, Akashi soaked in the rays of light. "I hope that I don't get to much of a punishment for not wearing a school uniform," hitting his head, he suddenly remembered the homework he had. "School hates me so much.......so, how did you sleep?"

It was an odd question, but Akashi asked a lot of those. He also knew useless facts, but that was due to the internet. He was just glad someone got some sleep, spending most of the night wandering around town.

She smiles not being able to be serious either. "You can't help but laugh because that was funny,rather you liked it or not." She saids fixing the strap on her shoulder feeling it rip. Here we go She thinks as she hears a huge ripping sound. The next thing she sees is her bag on the ground. She exhales and grabs the bag dusting it off. She has no choice but to craddle it in her arms like a child.

"School hates me so much.......so, how did you sleep?" Akashi asks her.

She groans and looks at the sky before looking back at him. "I barely got any. I stayed up half the night working on this drawing for art. Then the other few hours I couldn't sleep." She complains,like always. She looks in her bag seeing if her drawing still in there. She exhales seeing the thin piece of paper. She shelids her eyes from the sun and looks at the sky. "It so sunny. But not as sunny as your attitude,I mean you're always so positive and it rubs off on people." She comments wishing she was more like that. "Unlike,Kaji but he was really really....different yesterday. I mean I had a nice conversation with him and he did scare me at all." She saids knowing it sounds kind of crazy and she never was a lover of the truth.

Akashi grinned even more as Maya complimented her, waiting patiently for the girl to get her things he saw the glance of the picture she drew. She was really talented, but creative outlets weren't his thing. He once painted a picture, a three year old probably could have done a better job. "Hey, gotta stay positive~," someone in the house has to, he thought turning around so Maya couldn't see his smile fall. Looking at his phone, he checked the time. They still had a few minutes to spare.

"Yeah, but Kaji has a lot on his plate," knowing that not only he has a job, but taking care of everyone and making sure that no one outside knew about their curse. Scientists would probably test them or something like that. Shivering, he shook the bad thoughts away. "I'm glad you guys had a nice conversation though. Kazu's the only one that causes trouble." Even if he means to or not.

"You could have a sunny personality like me~ Just think positive~" Akashi said in a sing-song voice. It was hard to stay positive at times, but he still smiled for everyone else. "Maybe you should get a new bag?"

Grinning cheekily, Akashi was about to say something till Maya ran off. Shrugging, he began to walk towards the gate of the school gate with a bounce in his step. But when was he not seen smiling? The day he stopped was the day the apocalypse came. Looking around the area, he quickly went towards his classroom and dropped his stuff off. The teacher looking slightly startled, but didn't say anything. Even if he was going to, Akashi left closing the door.

Shaking his hair so it fell in the right place, he walked himself to the usual spot near a tree where his friends gathered. It seemed like he was a tad bit early so he stayed there picking at the grass. "Another boring day at school," he thought sighing in bliss. Akashi was pretty sure he was the only one who loved school in the house. Just take away the homework and it was heaven.

Laughing with his friends, Akashi waved goodbye as they headed for track practice. Since he didn't wear his school uniform, they wouldn't let him participate for the next two meetings. Which sucked, but he got off lucky this time. Watching as various students walked out, he saw Maya angrily rip up a paper, he wasn't the smartest but he knew when to stay away from a pissed girl. Flirting with some others who walked by, he began to sigh.

"Man, piled up with more homework." Akashi thought of actually doing the work, but decided he'd just copy someone tomorrow. Going towards the house he opened the door. It looked like he was actually early today. Putting his school bag down he went into the kitchen, books in hand. He had nothing better to do, so he might as well get the homework over with.

Eric waved to his friends as he walked towards the house. "See ya later guys, I gotta go this way!" He strolled home, enjoying his little walk, until he reached the gate. He walked into the house to find Kazu with a melted popsicle all over his hand. Eric couldn't help himself, and snickered a bit, but opened his backpack and tossed Kazu a pack of tissues. "You'd better lick or wipe that off before it gets on the couch. Not only will Kaji be mad, but I have to help clean that, ya know? But anyway, you didn't come to school again. You okay?"

He went into the kitchen to grab a can of Coke before coming out again. He noticed Akashi at the kitchen table, with his books. "Akashi, doing your homework? Is it the apocalypse or do you have a hot date? Haha. Well, call me if you need any help, I'll be out on the couch with Kazu." He grinned a bit, surprised at the monkey actually buckling down to get something done. With this, he walked out of the kitchen and collapsed next to Kazu, while popping open his Coke and taking a sip . "Ugh...'Kaji really made a mess, didn't he. That's gonna need to get cleaned up."

She lifts her head up and smiles at Eric. She shakes her head. "No,no it's not the work that is getting on my last nerve. It's the teachers,I mean yesterday I had to stay after school because a teacher said 'a pre-schooler could learn this faster than you'. So I used my very colorful vocabulary and got in trouble. But,don't tell Kaji that,the last I saw he wasn't in a good mood." She saids sweetly before drinking some of her cold water. She looks back at him "Beside,I don't want you to waste your time teaching me something I should already know." She adds being her hard-headed self. "I just need help being positive,that's more Akashi territory. Sorry." She comments laying her head back down.

A few seconds she jolts up and walks to the almost empty trash can. She reaches in the plastic bag and feels the three pieces of her drawing. She puts them all on the ground before grabbing them and heading to the table. She looks at the others. "Please don't ask." She saids as she chuckles nervously. Don't judge me,people She thinks to herself as she messes with her nimble fingers.

Watching as Eric came to grab a can of coke, Akashi glared down at his paper from under his bangs. Stupid math, he chanted over and over in his had. It's not that he didn't get it, he understood algebra perfectly. It's just the words problems that stumped him, tapping his pencil again the table rabidly he snapped his fingers. Eyes brightening as he quickly wrote down the equation and solved what it was asking for. Smiling in victory, he quickly moved on to the next set. This time all he had to do was figure it out, so the numbers were already there.

"I just need help being positive-" Akashi zoned out after that, his homework completed he jumped up with glee.

"Yes finally done~!" Noticing Maya sitting at the table, he drew back in surprise. He must have been way zoned out. "Well, I'm going to assume you had a bad day," looking towards Miku and Eric he rose a brow. Better not ask, he thought settling back down. Stuffing the papers in the void that is his notebook.

"I dunno, school's fun. It sucks though that I can't do track for a while." Although he was glad that the punishment wasn't to harsh. Putting an arm around Maya's shoulder, he sighed in happiness. "It's not that hard to be positive. Just think of something that makes you happy......even if it involves violence." Hearing the small story that Maya got in trouble yesterday, he couldn't help but snicker. It seemed like everyone here had a bad temper. Well, almost everyone.

"Yeah.....sorry," letting out a small yawn, Akashi took a look at the drawing before him. He didn't think to much of scary drawings, but with this one, he couldn't help but shiver a bit. Maya sure liked drawing things like this, but he couldn't say anything since he was terrible at drawing. Going towards a fruit bowl, he peeled a banana. His attention lingering on the picture before he took a bite of the fruit.

"So, how long did that take you?" Watching as Kazu seemed to say something to Eric. It was a about school, Akashi knew that much. He could clearly see Kazu's face contort in distaste. It seemed like what ever they were talking about he didn't like. Half betting on him disappearing to the roof, Akashi was surprised to see the cat just simple watch and turn on the T.V. Shaking his head, he tried not to seem so surprised. Today seemed like such a weird day, or it was passing by way to fast.
