Diane-This is Diane's preferred name though she doesn't despise her first name now like she used to. Due to the length of time she's been using the nickname Diane will often correct people when they call her by her first name whether she means to or not.
Cas/Cassy-This was Diane's nickname as a child. Since her mother chose her first name after the affair Diane stopped using it and people started to call her by her middle name.

Diane had two powers, the first of which being regeneration. Whether it be the smallest scrape or a bullet to the heart Diane can heal from the wound though depending on the severity it might take longer. Her second power is clairvoyance. This is her ability to touch an object and 'read' it. More often that not this is on purpose but it isn't rare for this ability to act up on it's own. This power only works on objects, not people.
Diane is average height with prominently toned muscles. Though she has womanly curves which most would immediately notice her most prominent feature is the way she holds herself. Diane lets of an aura of confidence and aggression no matter what situation she's in. Other than that she has delicate facial features that surround hazel eyes that shift between warm brown and a dark amber color. She has a tan complexion from living in Florida for so long and she has dark brown hair she tends to keep pulled back from her face.

Diane tends to come off as standoffish and pensive, tending to keep to herself and her own thoughts. This shocked quite a few people when she came back to town since it was such a drastic change from the sweet, friendly girl she used to be. She is still kind and considerate yet it is overlapped by her bitterness at being stuck in Ashwald. She feels guilty for not catching her father's killer and hates being unable to complete what she promised to finish.

Bio
Diane was born and grew up in Ashwald. When Diane was 12 her mother had an affair with someone else in town and her father found out. Her parents had a rough time getting over the betrayal with the constant reminders of the scandal so they moved to Florida. Seven years later, her father ran into a rough patch, having gotten laid-off and borrowed some money from a 'friend'. This friend ended up being a local crime lord and when her father didn't pay up the following year he was killed by the criminal. Devastated, Diane vowed to catch the criminal and went to college to become a detective. Due to her powers she passed quickly with flying colors and quickly finished school and then rose through the ranks. When she was 25 she got put on the case and was eventually put undercover and sent into the crime lord's inner circle. She spent a little over a year undercover and almost had sufficient evidence to bag the crime lord but she was caught snooping around one night and was shot. When the team retrieved her she had not had enough time to heal the fatal injury and she was reported dead. She was then forced to return to Ashwald as not to be discovered. When she was attending her own funeral in Florida, from a far, the Sheriff offered her the empty position of deputy and seeing no other options she took the job. She is just returning to the town and hasn't seen most of the inhabitants since her father's funeral.
