Personality
Sammie Tyrant has always been the "fun girl." The girl who's out with her friends until midnight, has multiple best friends, and loves to rock out to whatever hip music is currently flowing through the radio, while wearing whatever hip fashion trend is flowing through the U.S. teen girls.
Image
But, don't those girls usually have all the boys? Don't they date on/off until they're out of high school? Sammie has never, ever, ever been asked out, by anyone. She's always the one chasing after some loser guy, or the girl who plans parties and inviting a ridiculous amount of people just to feel normal.
Image
Honestly, she hates that about her. All of her friends, acquaintances, co-workers, enemies, frenemies, cousins, family, aunts, uncles, mom, dad, sister, companions, (I think you get it.) Everyone has been with someone except her, and it's driving her insane. But, at the end of the day, she sighs as she leans her head back against her bed, and says, "It's for the best.".
Back to the Personality...
Sammie's definitely a partyer. She'll call up who she knows will go out and have a good time with her, every other night. When she was invited to this, she almost exploded. A party... that she was actually invited to? She knew she'd end up making all the reservations, calling to see who's coming, and get stuck with making all the plans, but, she was invited!

History
Sammie grew up in an interesting household. Her mother, Samantha, named Sammie after herself, and was always power-hungry. She
always had to have her way, or no one would be happy. Her father, Jerry, was the complete opposite. They do say, opposites
attract. Anyway, Jerry would always fed Samantha's thirst for power, leaving Sammie, and her sister, Tyra, to fend for themselves often.
Tyra, being the oldest, usually stayed home and watched Sammie, while their parents would either go out and gamble away their earnings,
getting drunk in the process. When Tyra turned 18, she took Sammie who was 13 at the time, and they ran off, tired of their parent's troublesome ways. Tyra found a job at a fast food joint, and constantly work doubles, and overnight, leaving Sammie alone. Sammie was alone for most of her life after they left their parents. Jerry and Samantha didn't seem to notice, honestly. To them, the girls were always in their rooms, trying some new Make-up trend, or scanning online stores for deals on clothes. So, naturally, being alone, made Sammie depressed. Yes, she did go through that "stage" in life that every young, teenage girl goes through. Depression. She never got to the point where it was so bad, she harmed herself, but several close calls. During those close calls, Tyra would always swoop in and be the amazing big sister she was, pulling Sammie out of the 6ft hole depression dug for her.
With time, Sammie and Tyra grew older, and soon grew apart. Tyra was married now, and had a little boy of her own, at age 23. Sammie moved out of the house they'd renovated on, first to help with Tyra's husband moving in, and then a second time, for the little boy. Sammie missed her sister, and the long nights they'd had, talking. They used to stay up until 5 in the morning on weekends and just wing the whole weekend, doing whatever they wanted right then and there. But.. with Tyra as a mom now, she wasn't even capable of keeping herself in line much, much less Sammie too. So, Sammie moved out after she graduated high school, into a little apartment. After she returns from the trip, she's saved up enough money to move up North somewhere. She isn't sure where yet, but she's leaving this place. The memories are too much for her to handle anymore. Another reason she's leaving is because of fame. She'd always sang in gigs with new bands, but never thought about it being a career until recently. She's heard of an agent up north, who's good with beginning singers.

Khloe was frantically running around her room, which looked like a tornado went through it; Tornado Khloe. "Ma have you seen my pink crop top the one that says "Flawless"on it?" She hollared "No Baby now hurry up your guest are going to get to the house before you" Chloe groaned. She just bought that top specifically for today. Finally she just sighed heavily before standing in front of the full length wrought iron mirror in her room. She and Sammie spent hours trying on clothes and getting ready in front of that mirror they even kissed the mirror in their signature color lipsticks. She put her hands on her hips, narrowed her winged eyeliner eyes, and puckered her neutral pink lips before examining the outfit. It was a bustier top with high waisted shorts and her favorite sandals , though she really wished she was wearing her platform peach sandals instead. But the shorts highlighted her long curvy legs and toned butt and the top exposed her flat midriff. "Ok Ma I'm leaving, make sure Leo doesn't leave too late," She said, slipping the platform heals in her bag anyway.

She ran downstairs to their bright yellow kitchen, where her mother, grandmother, and grandfather sat." Ok bye guys" She said as she set her bags down. She kissed her grandfather on the cheek, who winked and patted her arm before returning to his breakfast, then gave her mom a big hug and kiss on the cheek before nodding at her grandmother, who was eyeing her outfit. She quickly grabbed her bags, careful to squat and not bend, then headed outside. The warm summer air engulfed her in such a familiar way that she couldn't help but smile. She sat in her sky blue Mini Cooper and quickly turned to one of the popular pop and hip hop stations. "You know what to do with that big fat butt!" burst through her speakers and she couldn't help but do that cheeky dimpled grin she was known for.

8:50

She pulled up in the familiar stony driveway to see three cars. First she spotted Ellie's beautiful thick curly hair. "Ells!" She practically screeched in delight. She dropped everything and ran to her. But she quickly slowed as she saw Steve and Todd. Realization hit her as she made eye contact with Todd. She blushed and looked away, suddenly feeling like a small child. "Stevie you promised..." She chastised before tuning, and heading back down the driveway for her bags. She walked back to the house with her nose in the air and her already plump lips a little puckered in agitation. She knew she looked like a child whenever she got angry but right now she didn't care.

Once she got in the house she pulled her hair, which reached just above her waist in the front (Sammie talked her into letting it grow super long) into a high ponytail, though she left her curly tendrils around her face out. Khloe had hair that most girls envied it was long and dark but not too thick and naturally fell in big curls, except for around her face, where the curls were fine and much tighter. "Damn I hope Sammie had a straightener' She said biting her lip. She and Leo always got one of the single rooms, even though when Sammie was there she and Sammie usually just shared a single room. She really was worried about Ellie and Sammie. There seemed to be tension there but she didn't understand it.

The night before, there had been a huge party at Rylee's friend Mason's house. He had spent the night, along with around thirty other people, because he was too drunk to drive home. Waking up, he realized he had a hangover, and quickly ran to the bathroom to throw up. He turned on the shower, cranking the heat up almost all the way. He washed his hair and body, and stepped out five minutes later. He had a bag of clothes for the beach house packed and in his car. He said goodbye to all his football buddies and their girls, and got in his Chevy Impala.

He drove for ten minutes before pulling over to puke again. When he went to get back in the car, he realized that the whole left side of his car had been keyed. The black paint was scratched off in two long, straight lines. "Shit!" He said, pounding in his door. It would probably cost a good two hundred dollars to fix.

8:50
He was about ten miles away from the house when he felt his car bumping, then stall. Rylee's car was an old one. It had broken down twice in the last month. He knew that Jamie was probably already at the house. So he texted Sam, knowing she was probably running late. You at the house yet? Car broke down, I'm on West Avenue. Help a brotha out?

8:25 A.M.

Sammie was asleep, soundly, in her neon room. Everywhere you looked, some random burst
of color caught your eye. It was almost like tye-dye, but more organized. For example, in the
corner of her room, she had a bright neon pink chair, with a lime green circular pillow placed
neatly on the arm.

A yellow alarm clock sat on her end table. But, if you looked closer, the plug that connected
the clock to the electricity vital to it's life, was not plugged into the wall, as it should have been.

8:40 A.M.

Image

Sammie stirred soundly, opening her eyes to the rays of sunshine peeking through her old curtains. She sat up, and reached her arms into the air, all her muscles flexing, and she was now awake, and ready for the day ahead.

Until... she realized she was REALLY late to a party.

"Crap." She said simply, sitting there for a minute, then leaping out of bed. She slipped on some of her old, pure white, short jean shorts, then her pink converse in one move. She then brushed her hair quickly, and slipped into a white tank,
putting on a one-shouldered, sheer, pink top, that only reached down to right above her belly button.

{Outfit}

Man, she wanted to pierce her belly button while she was with Khloe. She'd do it with her, she knew it. They do everything together..

Sammie snapped out of her "moment", which she had often, and went back to getting ready. She brushed her longer, thicker, darker hair, and shook her head to ruffle it up some. She topped her outfit with a flower headband, that she was sure would leave a small line across her forehead, and popped on some light ruby-brown sunglasses.

Sammie then hopped in her little pink Volkswagon convertible beetle, after going down
the steps of her apartment, and locking the door. She had "pre-packed", and already
carried her set of matching purple luggage down to her car last night. She knew she was
going to be late. After buckling in, she zoomed off, cranking up the stereo to the latest, hip
jams, and rocked her body to the beat, letting out a "Wooo!" as she drove out of the apartment
complex's parking lot.

Chloe was still a bit upset about Todd and Steve but decided she needed to greet her friends as they pulled up. So she slipped off her sandals and instead wore her platform sandals and headed downstairs. Once she made it to the living room she glanced out the big window facing the front of the house and squealed in delight at the sight of James. Jamie!" She shouted in delight from in the house. She ran from the living room to the front door and down the front steps. Then once she reached him she launched herself in his arms and hugged him tightly. Most people seeing this would say that they look like a couple but Khloe and James were as far from a couple as the sun were from the moon. Once he set her down she hugged him once more before saying "My sweet genius Jamie" She then realized she hadn't hugged Ellie. So she stood in front of her held her arms out straight and did the puppy face she had perfected over the years before giggling and pulling her into a tight hug.

"Can you guys believe we're high school graduates?" She asked once she let Ellie go. She tilted her head back and sighed. "Oh my god I'm an adult" She groaned. She did stop her groaning though as soon as she saw the pink beetle in the parking lot of a apartment complex. She grinned and stated "Sammie cannot follow directions"

To:Sammie Sweetheart
Hey Love were the big blue beach house. Two lots down.

While she had her phone out she decided she should text anybody who's not here yet. Which, she realized as she glanced around, was Rylee, who was probably hungover or his terrible car stalled, Leo , probably still sleeping (he's the cutest sleeper ever she couldn't bear to wake him up), And Lacey, probably still in front of a sketch pad or getting dressed.
To:Ry-Ry
Hungover, stranded, or held hostage by a one night stand?
Either way you better have an excuse for not being here.
To:Leo Bear
Hey sleepy head wake up your twinnnie needs you
To:Lacey Love
Hey fashionista did you forget about us little people already?

She also sent one to Steve. She was mad at him but he was her friend and she still cared about him. The truth was even tough some of the people in the group resisted him she defended him spiritedly and was always loyal to him. That's why she and him are such good friends.
To:Stevie
Stevie love, I'm not mad anymore but we WILL talk about him. Still love you though.

She attached a picture of her with duck lips to emphasize the not mad. Then turned back to her friends. "So you guys wanna roast marshmallows and hot dogs in the fire pit tonight?"

"He's not staying, James," Steve said to Jamie about Todd. Jamie was thankful for that, because he couldn't stand Todd. He had a low tolerance when it came to drugs. The second you do them, you get stupid. He waved to Todd as he backed out of the driveway, in a jokingly way. He began to walk to the house when he saw Khloe running down the steps towards him. He embraced her tightly, as if he hadn't seen her in weeks, months. He hated when girls did that in the halls between classes. But this might be his last summer with Khloe. They had gotten so close over the past six years.

He lifted her and spun around. "Khloe, we saw each other a few days ago. But I guess I missed you too." He set her down. After Khloe hugged Ellie, he walked up to her, putting both hands on her shoulders, and pulling her into a hug. When he let go, he looked around. Still no Rylee. Jamie knew he had gone to a big party at Mason's the last day. He hadn't talked to him since, but he figured he got drunk off his ass, hooked up with a random girl, and now had a hangover. "Where's Ry?" he asked Khloe. He also noticed that Leo wasn't there, but since Khloe was, he would be there soon. Lacey also hadn't arrived, but she was bound to be fashionably late.

Khloe stood in front of the pantry with her long nails tapping on the door. She glanced, for the fifth time at the counter as she mentally did a checklist 'Ok chocolates?check. Nutella?check.Graham crackers?' She broke off a piece of one and popped one of the corners in her mouth 'Check. She put those in one of her eco friendly tote bags before pulling the two coolers (or dragging) toward the fridge. She filled one those with hot dogs (and more chocolate) and the other with Sodas, water, hard lemonade, and beers (if they were going to drink she'd rather they do it here). Once she double checked she took the bag and the light cooler down the back stairs. She set up the snacks on the outdoor kitchen counter before opening the mini fridge outside and loading all the stuff from the cooler in there. Her eyebrows shot up when she noticed one of her moms tasty fruity vodka mixes in there as well. She grabbed her now empty bag and headed back inside.

Before she forgot she put plastic cups in the bag and headed upstairs to her room, though she was pretty sure Sammie was going to sleep in there too. After a quick shower (she was sweaty) she temporarily slid into a big t-shirt that hung down to her mid thigh (probably James, Rylee, or Steve's) and headed toward her room. She passed one of the rooms first and saw James and Rylee "Hey guys you think you can take the heavy cooler outside for me?" She asked as brushed her wet hair. Before they could answer she said "Thanks guys, also if you could start the fire that would be spectacular" She asked them because besides Sammie (who she needed for girl time) They spent the most time at the beach house. Her mom always had an open door policy for the three of them.

she went back in her room and turned on her Spotify getting dressed playlist. Which were really just girl power songs, lots of Beyoncé, and the soundtrack to confessions of a shopaholic. She had thoroughly brushed her hair so it hung down her back but it was quickly starting to curl. So she sprayed her summer waves curl control spray in it and prayed she wouldn't look like a precious moments doll. She slipped on a casual outfit before flopping on her bed. She grabbed the closest magazine and began thumbing through it.

Around 8 pm, Ellie found herself outside. She was on the beach near the house, taking photographs of the water just before the sun was about to set. Her small, black camera looked cheap, but it actually took very nice quality photos. She liked to use it while she was travelling. It provided her with great memories, and whenever she flipped through all of the pictures she had taken, she relived those great memories once again.

Her outfit hadn't really changed - she still wore the same tank top, shoes, and jeans. However, the back of her hair was parted into two identical pigtails, and a gray zip-up hoodie was draped across her shoulders. After a while, Ellie quickly headed down the stone path back to the house, where she soon spotted James and Rylee huddled around the fire pit.

"Fire!" she cheerfully exclaimed once she observed the orange and red flames that were dancing across the blocks of wood and the crumpled up pieces of newspaper. "I'll go let everyone know."

She headed inside, and ran to the staircase, tilting her face upwards. "Guys!" she projected, "Firepit's ready! Get your butts outside!" She then walked to the kitchen, where she grabbed marshmallows, hot dogs, buns, graham crackers and chocolate bars before heading outside again.

There were sticks in one of the outdoor kitchen's cabinets. Ellie grabbed them and put them on a tabletop nearby. Once everything was ready, she grabbed a stick of her own, and pierced it through a hot dog. She then started roasting it on the fire, and started to smile instinctively.

"Y'know what this campfire needs? Music. Like, an awesome acoustic guitar or something..." she said aloud.

{“Would you destroy Something perfect in order to make it beautiful?”― Gerard Way }

Lacey was late, very late. She was aware of that as she stood in her mentor's fashion studio. She watched with a close eye on the design he was trying to bring to life, the gown laid in front of them and it was gorgeous, close to perfect even... But, something was off and for hours now the two tried to find out what it was. What made the dress look so incomplete? Was the cut too short, were the colors off? No and more Lacey looked at it the more it irritated the young Italian that she couldn't figure it out. "Bloody hell! Forget it, I can't put my finger on it, darling! Go, get home before it get any later. You've been here long enough as it is." Her mentor, James Issac shouted as he stormed off to his office space in the small loft. As he slammed the door, the girl jumped as she sighed in defeat to grab her bag. She looked at the time, 8 at night. She had been in the small loft since 7 in the morning with no break. But, the two wanted to make their last summer together count. Because of James, she had been given the opportunity to go to Italy to study fashion among the best in the world. Even if that meant leaving her close friend and fashion idol, he wouldn't let her refuse the chance. The girl slung the bag on her shoulder as she continued to look at the dress.

She tilted her head as she softly walked back towards it. The dress was made of the same red fabric all around and while it looked like roses, it still looked like just fabric. This client was bizarre and wanted a one of a kind dress for the red carpet. She bit her lip softly before gasping. "James! I got it! I know what would make it look perfect!" She said as she knocked on the stained glass doors. "I knew I could count on you. Now, come. Tell me what your idea is, darling." James moved back towards the table as Lace moved to the vase of roses that James' girlfriend had sent him from Paris. She hurried to the table and put the rose on the button half of the dress. James raised an eyebrow as he looked at his intern. "Hear me out her, James. She loves roses and avant grade fashion, right?" James softly nodded his head before she continued. "Then what's more avant grade and original than cover the whole dress in fresh roses?" She asked as James thought about it. "C'mon, Jay. I have been with you for almost two years now and I have never been able to sketch something for you. All I need is a couple of hours, I swear I'll have it for you in the morning."

"Fine."

"James, please I swear I won't disappoint y--.." She stopped before smiling and looking towards her friend. "Did you say yes?!" James just nodded as he smiled. Lacey hopped up and down softly before hugging her boss. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I swear I won't let you down, the dress will look beautiful. Honest." Lacey assured him as she grabbed her sketchbook and the rose and put them in her bag. "I believe it. Now, go. It's eight at night, get to your friends before they forget about you." James teased as he kissed her right cheek as she rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face. "Have a good night, James!" She said to the man as he made his way back to his office which was playing Don't You Forget About Me very loudly. "Goodnight to you too, Lace." Once he shut the doors to his office, Lacey jumped up and down softly in celebration. "Finally." She said softly to herself as made her way to the elevator and pushed the first floor button. It didn't take long for her to make it to her white beetle car. She tossed her bag in the passenger seat before starting the car and letting her Beyonce playlist start playing throughout the car as she started the drive to her and her friends' new house for the summer. She turned to her phone and realized that she still had her phone off. James had this rule for his employees, no phones. He thought that they killed their ideas and imagination. When she turned it on, she saw a text from Khloe. She smiled as she read it but, also formed a lump in her stomach. She still couldn't face the fact that she would be moving out of the country after this summer. While all her friends stayed in the country, she would be thousands of miles away. What if they forgot about her? What if they replaced her with some other loud Italian girl while she was gone? And when she came home, they acted as if they never met her... She was overreacting. She knew that, but to her it was a possibility. A lot could chance in a couple of months. She shook it out of her head as she put her phone back in her bag and turned her attention back to her car as she started her drive to the beach house.

She parked her car outside as she checked her reflection in the car mirror. She moved a piece of her curly brown locks behind her ear before grabbing the bag and rushed inside. She already had her things packed in the back of her car as she moved towards the truck to grab two of her four and a half suitcases. Lace put her purse on top of one and her duffle bag over her shoulder as she walked inside. She cleared her throat as she walked towards on of the rooms. She was quiet as she wanted to surprise them. She laid the bag against the wall before heading back out to grab her other two bags.

After putting them along with the others, she changed out of her black jacket and skirt in replacement of a more suitable outfit for a bonfire. Not that she had a lot of 'causal' clothes. But, she did by a few for their bonfire nights. She change from her heels to a pair of red Vans and topped off the outfit with a black jacket from a friend of hers that she never remembered to give back. She snuck out to where she could hear talking between her friends. She walked outside and zipped up her jacket a bit before looking around in the backyard. "A bonfire. Awesome." She said as she looked around. "Where is everyone else?" She asked Ellie with a softly raised eyebrow.

Sammie yawned, cuddling with a small brightly colored pillow on her twin bed. She wasn't quite sure what room she was in, but she was sure she'd be sharing with Khloe, as the girls always did when they stayed over. Sammie heard what sounded like the soundtrack to, "Confessions of a Shopaholic", and smiled, knowing it was Khloe. If she listened ever so much more, she could hear Khloe's thumb swipe each magazine page.

Sammie was dressed in a huge, gray, black and white zig-zagged sweater, that was nearly 3x the size of her. Her skinny jeans were extra skinny, and showed off her curves nicely. To say she loved her skinny jeans was an understatement. Formal event? Skinny jeans. Beach? Skinny jeans. Anywhere? Skinny jeans for Sammie. Sammie's hair was loose, and in big curls naturally, as always. She also wore bangly bracelets, two on each wrist, reading things like "faith", "trust" , "hope", and "love". They shined bright if hit just right with light. Then, on top of her head, she wore a greenish-bluish beanie, held in with bobby pins. It was a miracle it hadn't fallen out during her little "cat nap".

She had heard Khloe asking who sounded like James and Rylee, to do some chores, and she moaned, rolling over onto her stomach. "Khloeee..." She groaned, and looked at her friend in the bed near her. "What are you dooooing?" She laughed, seeing her gorgeous friend, in her adorable outfit. "You need to go to rehab, Khloe Chase. Rehab for magazine addiction." Sammie smiled, and chuckled lightly. "Babe, did I tell you about Rylee? He rode here with me, and now, I have to re-scent my car, so it doesn't smell like Rylee, and vomit." She sighed, and put her hands over her eyes, pursing her cherry red lips into a small frown, like a child's. "He's so annoying sometimes." She sighed again, heavier.

Sammie knew Rylee's liked her forever, but just didn't know how she felt with him. She kinda liked him, but she also thinks she has feelings for James. They're both just so damn adorable, and friendly, and smart, and sweet, and.... everything Sammie'd want.

She hoped this little trip with the gang would sort out a lot of her questions she had about them. Things like, Where her and Khloe going to be best friends forever, or was she just going to ditch Sammie when Sammie left for her time away from their homes? Did James like her too? Does she love Rylee? Was she going to end up with anyone? If so, who? Why were there so many questions that suddenly popped in her head? Should she let Khloe have Rylee, and make herself suffer? Should Khloe suffer? Was there going to be suffering at all?

Sammie looked at the ceiling, rolling onto her back, and growled low. She shook her head, with her palms resting on her eyelids softly, as to not damage her cat eyes.

Khloe patted Sammie's long slender arms before nodding "Yeah he can be pretty disgusting," She giggled. She bit her lip mid giggle though. Khloe and Sammie never really discussed Rylee's feelings for Sammie. She liked it better that way. She didn't want to be pitied. She went up the mirror one last time to check her outfit, she always checked her outfit like five times (not including quick glances in reflective surfaces). It fit her nice, but she couldn't help wishing she was more slender like her friends. Khloe had plush curves and a full bust that no amount of working out could control. I mean it was nice sometimes but she wished she inherited her moms willowy features instead.

She could faintly hear Ellie summoning them downstairs, so she turned off her music. "Time to go," She said with a dimpled grin. She quickly went through her closet and found a gorgeous acoustic guitar. She didn't know the name or type but when her dad bought it for her the vendor freaked out... Until he found out it was just for decoration on her wall.Ellie freaked out too when she visited freshman year and saw it all shiny and untouched on the wall. "Did somebody say music?" She hollered down the stairs. Khloe's voice tended to travel so she knew they could hear her. She tucked it under her arm and headed downstairs, knowing Sammie was right behind her.

"I can't play it but I brought the guitar." She said with a blush creeping up her cheeks. The guitar was a funny story for the friends that she knew since seventh grade. She began seventh grade looking like a chubby dark cherub and she swore by eighth grade all the boys in her class would say she was pretty and she would learn to play guitar. She only accomplished one goal. She set the guitar next to Ellie because she knew she would take the best care of it.

She spotted Lacey as soon as she went outside. It was had to miss the statuesque girl with the wild curls. "Hey Lacey Love" She said hugging her, even though Lacey was taller than her. Well then again she was the shortest in the group. Not short! Just shortest. "You look amazing, be sure to keep me in the loop with the latest trends" She had to admit her group was always well dressed. I mean Ellie's been more nonchalant lately but she's still pretty.

She playfully swatted Steve but he pulled her into a hug afterwards. Before settling in the sand in front of James."Did you guys get anything to drink?" She asked nodding toward the mini fridge. She turned to Sammie "My mom even left that cocktail stuff you like. We just can't use the glasses, my grandma would freak out."She propped up on the counter and smoothed out her leggings. "Oooh I say we play dish and drop!" She said with a mischievous grin. "It's the game where you have to either dish out a story about somebody else or drop a secret of your own."

Sammie groaned, and followed Khloe out of the room, and outside where everyone else was waiting. She spotted Rylee, and being good friends with him, went over and sat in his lap. She knew he was half-drunk, and probably wouldn't even remember this. "Hey Rylee, baby." She giggled, then got up, and sat next to Khloe in the sand.

Her eyes widened at the mention of Khloe's game, "Dish or Drop". Sammie hated that game. Khloe always wanted to play it, and it was always Sammie that ended up giving the most away. That's how Khloe found out about Rylee liking Sammie. Or so she thought. She sighed, and shook her head, looking at Khloe. "Do I have to play?" She frowned, and wiped some sand off, that had already somehow gotten in her lap.

Sammie hated all these childish games. She knew they were just made to make her look awful. Sammie had played things like, "Truth or Dare?" and "Spin The Bottle", when she was younger. She'd always get publicly humiliated somehow, and lose that group of friends. Sammie guessed that was how she was so... different. She had experience from all the different social groups, and knew how to act with each type.

Sammie then noticed Khloe's guitar. "You brought your guitar? I didn't even see it earlier! Play something, Khloe, baby!" She smiled. Sammie loved to sing in her freetime, and that was part of the reason she was ditching this place after this trip, that no one really knew about. She couldn't remember if she'd told Khloe yet or not, but knowing herself, she probably didn't. Singing had been her habit since she was little, and was good at it. She heard of an agent out-of-state that was good with beginning singers, so she said, "Why not?" .

Day Two
| August 10| 10:00 a.m | thirteen days left|

Image
Its a beautiful Sunny day. The group hopes that by spending the time on the beach maybe the awkwardness will fade away. Thy plan to head to an area closest to the house. Which is still actually pretty close to the boardwalk.

Recap of last night:
The night began with a few laughs as they shared stories and remenisced. A few members of the group drrank a bit much and things started to take a dangerous turn so instead of playing the game they decided to plan for tommorow. They bys wanted to go down to the public beach during the day and head clubbing that night, the girls said that would be fine as long as they got to pick the plans the next day. Just as everyone was ready to tun in for the night a visitorr arrived. To Khloe, Sammie, Rylee, and James dismay it turned out to be Khloe's spiteful cousin Vanessa.

Vanessa insisted that the group was boring and challenged them to a drinking game of never have I ever. Twenty minutes in (by that time everyone was buzzed) she said Never have I ever liked my best friend's crush Then once Sammie begrudgingly took a sip she turned to ask Khloe how it felt to know that the guy you've always had feelings for wanted your best friend. Khloe of course ran off, completely mortified. Ellie and Lacey went after her but before Ellie left Vanessa smirked and said "I bet you know exactly how it feels to be jealous of Sammie" Ellie then went to her room. Lacey ended up sleeping in Khloe's room. The boys went to their own rooms. But not without Vanessa winking at Steve

Sammie woke up in the hot sand on the beach, where she sat last night. She couldn't remember much, but there were a couple of empty glasses and a bottle next to her. "Oh no.." She sighed, and buried her head under her arms. The sun was so bright, she had a headache. After a few minutes of just laying, she sat up, the white sand reflecting the sun's rays, making her believe she was in a desert at first, until she heard the soft crash of the waves onto the shore. Sammie ran a hand through her messy hair, and shook her head. If there was alcohol, then Vanessa couldn't be too far behind.

Stumbling around in the sand as she got up, carrying the glasses and bottle, she went inside the beach house, and looked around. Why couldn't she remember last night? Something seemed off. She put the glasses and bottle on the counter in the kitchen, and suddenly made a beeline for the bathroom. She was definitely hung over. After doing her thing in the bathroom, Sammie went to the mirror in the hall way. She looked at herself, and sighed. She had this horrible empty feeling that she hurt someone, but she honestly didn't know who.

Finally, Sammie shrugged, and sat on the stairs. She leaned her head against the railing, and closed her eyes, letting out a long sigh.

8:50

Khloe woke up to a slight twing in her head. She groaned ad slowly opened her eyes, which were a bit stuck due to the fact that she fell asleep in mascara. She glanced over to see that Lacey was asleep next to her, a halo of curls envoloping her face. That's when all of last nights events flooded through her. She groaned and raked her hands through her hair. After some serious reluctance, she climbed out of her bed and paded to one of the bathrooms. She turned on the shower but went to the mirror first. She wanted to see how she looked, she wanted to memorize this feeling, so she'd never have to feel it again. Her hair was plastered frizzy, her eyes had black smudges along the bottom, her cheek had a faint black streak along it, and her eyes were red from crying. She groaned loudly. Why me?, she thought as she slipped into the shower. She sighed, letting the hot water and steam engulf her. She thoroughly scrubbed her face, her body, and her hair.

When she opened the bathroom door the smell of Vanilla and honey suckle. She had completely refreshed herself. Her skin was dewy, her hair deep conditioned, and her skin softened. I am pretty, I can have any boy I want She chanted. She walked to her room with her head high but when she slipped in she sighed. Lacey was still sleeping so she grabbed her clothes and got dressed in the bathroom. She slipped on her sexiest bikini's. It was a string bikini, but was wired so it still fit her comfortably. She then slipped a long tank ove it that hit her upper thigh, she opted to not put shorts on under it, but packed a pair of white cotton short shorts anyway.

9:40

Khloe headed downstairs and grabbed an iced coffee from the fridge. She headed downstairs but stopped when she saw Sammie on the stairs. A lump formed in her throat, choking her up but she swallowed it down and walked by, mumbling a "Hey" before passing her. She slipped out the door, to one of the terraces and sat in one of the lounge chairs.

Vanessa smirked as she awoke. She flipped her long blonde hair, out her way and slid out of bed. She was quite pleased with herself. So far she'd pretty much ruined her spoiled little brat cousins vacation and found a hot guy to play with. After showering, she slipped into a tiny bikini and a pair of cheeky shorts that showed the bottom curve of her butt. Then skipped down the stairs where she saw Sammie. She grinned her cat like grin before poking out her lip and saying "Poor baby" She sneered, Perfect little Khloe doesn't like you anymore because you took Rylee? By the way, nice job. I mean you could have any boy in the group, especially since you want every boy in the group and you take the one she wanted. Even better the one she made herself pretty for" She giggled "You are cold hearted Then skipped happpily aaway.

It was 9 am - thirty minutes after David Jones and his family were supposed to leave their house and begin to embark on their journey to the Bahamas. They were going on vacation for many reasons. The first reason was that Meredith, his mom, and Cormoran, his brother, needed a break from their busy, schedule-filled, caffeine-fueled lives. The second reason, seemingly less important than the first, was that it was his birthday week.

Although it was something the average human being would be thrilled about, Davey was dreading the Bahamas more than a cat hated seeing a dog. It wasn't that he despised the place, he just disliked the people he was going to the place with. He would much rather be spending his birthday with his close friends than two sticks in the mud.

Right now, he was sitting in his living room, flipping a pen into the air and catching it while he was sprawled out across his sofa. His brother sat straight in an office chair, eyes focused on the important message displayed across his laptop's screen. Cormoran was never one to talk, especially when his brother was around. Their bags, all packed and ready to be used, were spread all across the floor. All that was left to do was wait for their mother, who had been on the phone for thirty long minutes. To Davey, it seemed like an eternity.

"Okay," he heard his mother's voice from the kitchen. She sounded disappointed. "Thank you. Goodbye." She hung up, and sighed loudly. "Boys," she said in a dismal tone, "Can you both come in here please?"

When the brothers had entered the kitchen, their mother began to speak. "So it looks like our vacation is going to have to be scrapped."
Cormoran raised a brow. "Why?"
Meredith Jones sighed again, anger written in her eyes. "Turns out there's been bad flooding from a hurricane, and now the hotel we're supposed to be staying at has been damaged badly and needs repairs."
His brother's face went blank. "Can't we just stay somewhere else?"
"Afraid not. All the other hotels in the area are filled with residents because of all the damage the hurricane has done. I'm sorry boys, it looks like we're not having a vacation this year."

There was silence. Meredith looked hard at Cormoran. Cormoran then turned his gaze to Davey, and in that moment, the seventeen-year-old realized what this demolished vacation meant.

"YES!!!" he shouted, a huge smile covering more than half of his face. His brother and mother jumped back in surprise. Davey then grabbed his keys from the table, and sprinted to the living room. Undiluted in excitement, he quickly grabbed his suitcase and guitar case, all the while shouting "YES!!!" over and over again. His family members were beyond confused. When Davey had reached the front door, his mother cried out for him. "WAIT!!! she yelled infuriatingly, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?"
"TO THE JERSEY SHORE!!!!" he replied, slamming the door, and running towards the driveway. Cormoran and Meredith then heard one last "YEEEEEESSSS!!!" from outside before the sound of a roaring car engine filled the house.

"I bet you know exactly how it feels to be jealous of Sammie"

Ellie woke up in a daze, the last words spoken to her still bouncing around in her aching head. Had last night really happened? She put a hand on her temple, which seemed to be covered in perspiration. With pressure in her neck, she slowly looked around. Everything seemed fine, except for the fact that many pillows from her bed were covering the floor around her. She had thrown them out of anger after Vanessa Hart, Khloe's cousin, showed up and practically tore all of the good feelings that everyone used to have apart. That girl was like vaseline to the group's fire, and she had no idea why Khloe had even let her into the house in the first place. She couldn't even begin to imagine how hurt everyone must have been from last night's quarrel...

And then she saw her notebook, wide open, laying upon the desk next to her. She slowly glanced over it, but nothing was there. It was just a blank page. She hadn't written in it last night, even though she wanted to. But then again, did she really want to? Now that all of this had happened... What if her therapist was going to read it? How would she explain everything to him? Why would she even want to explain everything?

Ellie sighed, placing a hand underneath the cover, and slowly closed it. Perhaps she'd write later. Perhaps she wouldn't write at all.

She knew she needed a shower, which sucked. Still wearing the same clothes from last night, she got up, made her bed, (picking up the pillows as well,) and grabbed a towel. Once Ellie had gotten everything she needed, she went to the bathroom, and locked the door. She stared at the shower for a moment, and then quickly turned on a playlist from her ipod. While the warm water smoothed over her skin, she felt like everything from last night washed off. She listened to the bubbly music ringing through the room. It took her mind off of the past. However, an imminent feeling of fear lingered. In a way, Ellie wished she had been diagnosed with schizophrenia instead of PTSD. At least with schizophrenia, she'd be seeing new things instead of the same scenario that played in her mind every time she passed through a shower curtain. Still, even though the same things happened every single time, each moment felt new to her.

Once she was done, she put on a swimsuit for the beach, followed by a sundress over it. After brushing her teeth and combing her hair, she hurried downstairs for breakfast, just missing Vanessa and her evil words addressed to Sammie. Sitting on the stairs in gloom, a pained expression was plastered onto her face. Ellie tried not to look her in the eyes, or even stare at her. She just passed by. Once she had reached the bottom floor, the doorbell rang.

The front door was inches away from her, so she answered it. Much to her surprise, it was Davey Jones. "Why hello, Gabby!" he said, quickly wrapping his arms around her before she could prevent it. She hated it when he called her that. "What on earth are you doing here?" she asked, "I thought you were on vacation."
"I was going to be on vacation. I'm not going to be on vacation anymore."
Leaving a brow raised on Ellie's face, Davey let himself in. Bringing his luggage in with him, he dropped it on the space next to the door, and upon seeing Sammie, ran up the stairs to greet her.

"Hey Sammie," he said, hugging her tightly. "How are you? I missed you!"
He couldn't have come at a more worse time.

"Hey.."

Khloe, her best friend hardly looked at her, walking past her. Sammie bit her lip, and suddenly the memories of last night came flooding back to her. She started breathing fast.

"Poor baby. Perfect little Khloe doesn't like you anymore because you took Rylee? By the way, nice job. I mean you could have any boy in the group, especially since you want every boy in the group and you take the one she wanted. Even better the one she made herself pretty for. You are cold hearted." Vanessa sneered, giving Sammie the most fake smile she'd seen before, and giggled, skipping away.

Sammie's eyes watered, and she rocked slightly. That wasn't her last night. Who was she? How could she hurt someone so close to her, so badly like it was nothing? Why was she even alive right now? Sammie ran a hand through her hair, it shaking. It felt the whole world was crumbling around her. She'd never hurt Khloe in any way, not if she could help it. The pain stung her heart, and she almost lost herself to her emotions, but fought back, and won, tightly gripping her arm. Her knuckles looked as if they were going to protrude out of her skin.

Why? That was the question that echoed in her head. Why would she hurt Khloe? Well, honestly, it feels as if Khloe is... distant from Sammie. They haven't had a full conversation since she arrived. Sammie wondered if Vanessa was telling Khloe something about Sammie. Was Vanessa going to die if she didn't have her stupid little butt in some type of fricked up drama dealing with Sammie?

Ellie just simply walked by her, but Sammie felt her eyes on her. She couldn't believe herself. She... She didn't know what to do. Her whole social life was crumbling right in front of her, all because of a stupid drinking game Vanessa wanted to play. Vanessa always ruined Sammie. She hated it. Sammie always felt like she was around her mother when Vanessa came. Everyone always believed Vanessa over her, which ignited a flame of anger in her. Sammie was the one who'd helped everyone. She was the good girl, and Vanessa was the bad, but her idiot friends couldn't seem to wrap their tiny little heads around that.

Image

"Hey Sammie, How are you? I missed you!" Davey hugged her tightly, and she hugged him back for a slight second, then let go softly, and curled her arms into one another. "I.. I missed you too." She managed to say, and held back her tears. Sammie nodded, and silently went out the door by the chair Khloe was sitting in.

Her eyes finally surrendered to her emotions, and flooded her face instantly. Sammie let out a small, "eep" as she went down the stairs, at a quick pace, then ran across the sand, away from the house.

She felt helpless. Useless. No one wanted her there now. NO ONE. Not even her own best friend, the one she swore she'd always love, and help. Sammie had cried quite a bit before she finally fell to her knees in the warm sand, under a palm tree. She made sure she was hidden, inside the trees, and curled up tightly, her back to a tree, and just let out her emotions. She was crying so hard, that she sounded like a dying seal, letting out occasional sobbing noises like, "Ahh" or "Eep".

Sammie felt her past knocking at her heart's door, and looked down into the sand through her legs. With her arms resting on top of her head, hiding it, she held them tightly. The tears wouldn't stop, and she couldn't make them.

Image

This wasn't Sammie. She didn't know what was going on with herself right now. Vanessa had a way of... hitting her in the heart, every time, and hard. It's like she took a baseball bat and swung it at Sammie, multiple times.

{“Would you destroy Something perfect in order to make it beautiful?”― Gerard Way }

Last night was a bit of a blur for Lacey, sure she remembered most of the night unlike the others but, still a few moments were a little hazy. And it all got hazy once Khloe's cousin, Vanessa, came into the backyard. Lacey didn't know her that well but, from what she had heard from others about her. She didn't seem like the nicest person to be around. And that was proven true when they all started playing never have I ever. The game at first was okay, awkward but, okay.... Seeing that Lacey didn't have to take a sip on close to any of the questions. But, everything hit the fans once Vanessa decided to bring up the whole Khloe-Sammie-Rylee situation.

Lacey just sat awkwardly with Steve and James as it all unfolded but, rushed after her friend once Khloe had ran off. Vanessa had said something to Ellie that made her run past the young Texan and into her room. "I'm just one person!" She said to herself as she looked towards the ceiling before rushing after her close friend. She just laid down next to her best friend wrapping her arms around her. They talked a little bit about stuff, but Lacey didn't want to get into the whole situation that just happened. She adored her friends, but this love triangle needed to end. And Lacey told her blue eyed friend her opinion. They were best very good looking, sociable, and well, compared to Lacey perfect. They could snag anyone they wanted without having to be afraid about being rejected. Lace on the other hand, felt like she was the ugly stepsister out of all of the girls in the group. Ellie was pretty, strong, sure she was quiet but, she was fighter. Sammie was, well, Sammie.

She was little miss perfect. And Khloe, was just like Sammie. Little miss perfect. Perfect body, perfect height, hair, eyes, everything. And then there was little miss. Lacey love. She was the second tallest of the group after Sammie, but by far one of the curviest after getting it from her mother side. Which she hated, with a passion. She was loud and talkative, never knowing when to shut up or give in. And as much as she tried to change, she always went back to her loud Italian and Greek roots. Sure, Khloe had told her she was crazy about how she saw herself but, just like every other time. She just thought her best friend was being nice. Once Khloe had fallen asleep, Lacey slid out of the bed just to go change out of her now uncomfortable jeans and switch them for a pair of leggings and one of her favorite tops. She kept her hair down as she walked out just to see the boys heading to their rooms. She smiled towards them all but, lost her smile once Vanessa winked towards Steve. She sighed softly before heading to Ellie's room to make sure she was okay as well. She would have asked her but, she was already asleep and Lacey hated waking people up so, the girl just made her way back to Khloe's room and slid back to bed before falling right asleep.

------------------

By the time had rolled around, so did Lacey's headache. She peeked through one of her brown eyes as the sun streamed through the curtains. She turned to her side to see Khloe already up. She pushed her dark locks out of her face as she yawned and stretched her arms up towards the ceiling. She sat up just as her head started pounding even harder than it was when she had first woken up. She groaned as she slid out of the bed not even remembering that she was wear pajamas. She slid her hair in a bun with only one curl slipping out towards her face. She looked herself over the mirror and sighed. She would have gone to her room and get ready but, by remembering how much the guys had to drink last night, they wouldn't be up for at least another 30 minutes or so. And the girls had already seen her 'all natural'. Hair up, no makeup, no fashionable clothes. She was just... normal. The guys probably didn't even know this side of her existed seeing that she refused to let any guys, excluding her father see without her makeup on.

Before heading out of the room, the girl started humming and by the time she was out of the room she was singing Fake I.D by Big and Rich. "Hey mister won't you sell me a fake ID. There's a band in the bar that I'm dying to see. I got my money and you got what I need," She reached for one of the salted caramel Moonpies she had brought with her before leaving her house. She didn't eat a lot of junk food, but every girl had her weakness. She bit a piece off as she felt someone push past her. Vanessa, of course. But, she seemed to not even notice the girl as she skipped towards Sammie and skipping away. She rolled her eyes as the blonde left the house. She bent down next to the girl with a small smile on her pale face. "Look, junebug... I don't want to get in the middle of anything but look, everything is going to pass over. I'm gonna go cook breakfast." Lacey really didn't want to pick sides and as much as it pained her to have to make little miss perfect 1 feel better... Sammie was her friend and she wasn't just going to make her feel like shit.

She headed back up the stairs to her room to grab her earbuds and then the kitchen to cook the group a good enough breakfast to at least help them get over their hangovers. She put in her headphones and started blasting the song she was singing not long ago as she started to sing again and dance in place, with her hips swinging back and forth as she started grabbing out things for breakfast. She was complete oblivious to the world around her as she danced around the kitchen with her hair falling out of it bun. As she started the stove, she just pushed it all back in a very messy ponytail and started cooking to bacon to go along with the cinnamon buns she had defrosting on the counter next to her.

She thought she heard Ellie talking to someone at the door, but just shrugged knowing it was probably no one she knew or was close to. Seeing that the whole group, except for Davey was in the house.

Steve groaned awake as the sun finally hit his face. "Ugh, Man. Guess those pills hit me harder than I thought." He rubbed his eyes and yawned as he sat up and swung his legs over the bed. "If I felt this bad after taking them. I don't want to imagine what I'd feel like with a hang over and this." He said standing up. He looked around and saw that he crashed in Leo's room. "Fitting, he never showed up. I sleep on his bed."

Steve was the only one who didn't drink that night, or at least as far as he remembers. He could remember what generally happened, but specific details are fuzzy. He managed to sneak out of playing by volunteering to tend the fire, he said something about drunks and fires don't tend to mix. Vanessa only agreed because he made such a good case about not wanting to take an intoxicated teenager to the hospital for severe burns and explaining why a bunch of underage kids are drinking anyway. That, and she didn't know how high he really was.

He headed towards the room he put his stuff and was greeted by a person sleeping on his bed. He shrugged it off and grabbed his stuff and headed back to Leo's room. He changed out of the clothes he had on yesterday. He put on his red swim trunks and his Spiderman T-shirt. Something else happened he knew it, but he couldn't put his finger on it. It had something to do with Lacey. He thought about it for a bit and came up empty.

Steve walked up to the window and saw Khloe sitting in a chair looking very sullen. He felt bad for her, it sucked having someone you want taken from you. He tried to remember what exactly happened to end like that, but he just couldn't recall. He sighed, "Join us this year Steve, she said. You'll have fun, she said." As he finished talking to himself, he saw Sammie walk out fairly quickly and then take off running.

"Aw, Jebus. Things are not looking for this group." He sighed as he decided to head after her. He needed to know her side of things. Honestly, he couldn't care less if Sammie did anything with Rylee, but it isn't like Sammie to openly hurt her best friend. He had to get to her first before anybody else did. Steven headed down stairs and saw Ellie and Davey,

"Sup Davey, Morning Ellie." Steve said walking past the pair. He briefly wondered why Davey here, but he'd find out later. He made his way towards the front door and said, "I'm heading out. I'll be back soon." He headed outside and went to the beach directly. He found her a couple minutes later. He heard her before he saw her.

"You know, you're going to need a better hiding spot than this if you keep crying like that." Steve said kneeling next to her. "I'm not here to call you names, tell Khloe where you are, and judge you. I've already done the last one, and this," he made a movement with his hands, "Doesn't change that judgement I made so long ago. So, cheer up. You have at least one friend that cares about you. Of course I'm not sure how much I count, but it's still one more than Hitler." He smiled at her. "Anything you say, will be kept between us. Unless you spill the beans then I pretty much get a free pass."
