Race: Human
Kingdom: Empire
Job: Personal Guard of the Emperor
Appearance: 6'7 290 lbs
"There is no black, no white, and no grey. There is only the Empire"
Weapons: Ice Heart, a unique long sword imbued with its own frost powers, channeled through a magic core, known to freeze surfaces on contact.
Powers: Ice Lord, wields powerful frost magic. Abilities range from firing blasts of frost magic from his hands, summoning localized blizzards in locations that are non-tropical or particularly temperate, and hand to hand techniques that can freeze the area touched by his hands. The air about him is often colder than the surrounding environment, regardless of location.
Wraith Shift: Vokura basically changes classes from a fighter to a rogue. His armor fades away to a black cloak and his great sword becomes a katana, and his defense and raw attack power decreases sharply. In compensation, his stealth, speed, and reflexes go up dramatically. When he exits wraith form, his armor and sword return to normal. There is an sharp downside to this technique though. It is extremely unstable, so he can only maintain it for couple minutes (or a few posts depending on length). When Vokura exits wraith mode, he is left in a weakened state for the remainder of the battle, until he can find time to meditate or take an extended rest. For this reason, he reserves wraith shift for a last resort or situations where he knows he will have back up or an easy exit.
Skills: Skilled swordsman and magic user, hand to hand augmented by frost magic. Strong enough to wield his great sword and heavy armor with ease, though he still moves slower because of it, no normal man could wield his gear. He has nearly half a century of combat experience, making him very adept at gauging situations and formulating counter-strategies in reaction to enemy action.
Armor/Clothing: Vokura wears the heavy armor of the Primes. Forged in the mountains and enchanted to never stick or chink in even the coldest of weathers. There is a small, round metal shield strapped to his left forearm for a small bit of extra protection when he needs it. He bears the tattered cape as a mark of pride, evidence of his long tenure as a Prime, his many battles, and his many victories.
Vokura was born into the clan of the Rokesh, a long-lived people who resided on the mountains of Illdurv. The Rokesh was a clan of warrior-folk who valued two things above all others, personal power, and clan honor. This honor was secured through victory in battle. In such a power-oriented society, last names were typically dropped in favor of clan rank instead, only being used with among close friends and families or in especially formal or severe occasions. Their desire for strength and power inspired their alliance with the Empire a long time ago. Recognizing the clan's power, its members were often recruited as bodyguards for generals, high level officials, and other VIPs. After a time, the village took to producing warriors specifically to serve the Empire. Children were enrolled in a special school at the age of five, and along with loyalty to the clan, were brainwashed to serve the Empire unquestioningly. Vokura was a student in this school. After a few years, it became apparent that he was set apart from the others. He was gifted with natural size, and reflexes to boot.
It wasn't until he reached the age of eighteen that the rare gift of frost magic manifested itself in him. From that point on, he was put on the fast track to greatness. He was special mages were brought in to train him in the art of frost magic, turning him into a powerful warrior above all others. His training culminated with his merging with the Wraith of the Mountain. In addition to providing him with a greatly extended life-span, it gave him the form changing ability he works to perfect through this day. With his inheritance of these gifts of the mountains, Vokura was set to become the most powerful of warriors. When he was twenty five, he was granted the title of Prime, the highest level a warrior could ascend to, a position of great admiration, respect, and fear. He was a true force to be reckoned with. Not long after, he was recruited into the Emperor's guard, his training complete, and his brainwashed loyalty cemented in. After many years as a bodyguard for numerous influential figures, he was appointed to be the emperor's personal guard and has served in the position for many years more.
