Appearance: Not the most handsome man, but Angel does take enough care of himself to look presentable. He's 5' 10", weighs in at 164lbs, has light brown eyes and semi-short, messy blonde hair. Angel manages to remain well-exercised with toned arms and legs, though he'd rather spend most of his day inside, working on a computer. That might be the reason why his skin looks comparatively pale, even if his eyes are lively and his hair is clean. His clothing is typically casual these days, wearing whatever pants fit him. If he has to wear something professional, it's usually just a random buttoned-up shirt and slacks to look decent.
The problem with shirts, though, is that Angel has huge bionic wings protruding from his upper back, reaching a full wingspan about 34% longer than his armspan. Every shirt he wears also needs an open back, and most of his shirts he originally cut open himself with not too much difficulty. He's had his shirts taken care of by a professional tailor for two or so years now, with the lower back of the shirts tying together so he doesn't have to pull them over the wings. Rather, he can tie them in like a loose corset.
Personality: Angel is best described in one word as... "disturbed". ("Insane", "imaginative" and "innovative" may also work to some degree.) While his hectic, disorganized train of thought alone counts due to making him exhibit schizophrenic symptoms, it's an odd multiple personality disorder that takes the cake. His MPD contains few "other selves", but they affect Angel a great deal, especially in that he loses his sense of time and has little recollection of his actions while being them. He can "sleep" for days at a time while the other personae are awake, and not realize so much time has passed when he returns.
The first is Angel himself, an intelligent, righteous man with a distaste for "average" humanity (as being average is an insult to him) who has managed to make the best out of many situations, and sound cheerful and/or optimistic in the worst. Regardless, he's still a social butterfly to some degree, as he has no problem with interpersonal situations—nor do his alternates... sort of.
Next is a nameless persona that really only organizes and articulates Angel's thoughts much better than Angel himself, giving him unprecedented mental clarity and eloquence when he gains a spark of
Third is the adventurous and athletic side that appears under mental stress, where Angel becomes much more simplistic in his thought processes and takes advantage of his physical abilities. A "just do it" kind of guy, Yuri runs on impulse, adrenaline, and the idea that protein is a balanced breakfast.
Last, but not least, is Max, who pops up whenever Angel is in a disadvantageous social state. Worse than a drill sergeant and holding the delicacy of a hummingbird in his fingers, Max is a commanding... commander, with a soft side for flowers and puppies, even if his extremely rude and argumentative disposition doesn't show it.
Augmentations: Angel's only augmentation came in the form of his own experiments: a pair of bionic wings attached between the shoulder-blades, enabling flight. After ten years in development (and four in physical use), they resemble a white bird's wings and can support Angel through a short period in the air—roughly five and a half minutes on an average day. The wings were almost finished to become more managable later in the development, but Angel's funds from Avaryse were cut off and the development shut down before this could be implemented. However, this didn't stop him from having the required equipment procedure done on himself just three months later, and with a prototype pair and insufficient anaesthetic no less! Needless to say, Angel has never felt a pain such as that—nor will he likely ever again—but he doesn't regret getting badass wings of his own design fused with his body so he can, you know, FLY. Not to mention he proved they could be useful for short distances, as he can currently hit over 35mph with a little effort in normal weather; that's mostly due to the sheer wingspan and strength, though.
Skills: He's a nerd, for the most part, so most of his skills involve conflict avoidance. As Yuri and Max, he can overcome many physical challenges, but he's really not proficient with any weaponry besides handguns (and even that's a stretch). For comparison, he can control the occurrences of his alternate personae better than he can reload a six-shooter.
