Come now... Do you really want to cross swords with someone named 'Blade?'
Dain can take a joke as well as the next guy... Actually, even better. He's a jokester at random points in time, but he isn't too bad. Dain loves his friends, and can forgive anything that happens to him, even if done by an enemy. But when that event occurs with his friends, prepare for World War 3.
In battle, Dain is playful, yet decisive. He doesn't show it, but he analyzes the enemy's movements and adapts accordingly. His skills are all designed to chain together, and Dain's speed also helps with the multi-skill combo. Alone, they can do decent damage. Together, they are devastating.
A Nodachi, a type of Japanese sword.
Dain is pretty much an average Joe when you first meet him. However, his past is filled with divorces, marriages, and putting up with constant movings. His only salvation was that he would be adopted by an actual, loving family. His prayers were answered when a car accident killed both his parents. Dain, along with a sister his age named Liz, were adopted into the same family, and were loved and taken care of... Until the boy of the family, Jance, decided to become an alchoholic and abuse poor Liz and Dain.
Fortunately, one night, the parents saw what Jance was doing .Because he was 20 years old at the time, Jance was arrested and jailed. For Dain and Liz, they were kept in the same family. This time, however, the parents were a little more like Jance. They praised him, held him close and made him their pride and joy. Despite the "love" Dain and Liz had received prior to the ordeal, they were verbally abused, and sometimes were locked in their rooms without supper. Having no choice, Dain ran away with Liz to an orphanage. It was by sheer luck that they stayed together when they were adopted. Dain, being affected by all of the events transpiring in his life, retreated into a shell in which he played video games and watched anime while reading manga. When the nerve gear came out, Dain bought it along with TOFO after a few months of failed persuasion and hard-earned cash. He never thought it would end up like this, sadly...
