On board the US Chase a large shipment of toys are bound for the United States. Various toys, from the popular to mundane, await their playtime destiny. A destiny that is about to be…interrupted.

During the night, a rough storm pushes the ship off route. The US Chase hits a large reef and tears its hull open on the sharp rocks. The sailors abandon their doomed vessel and seek the safety of the lifeboats as the ship begins to sink. Many toys, locked in their shipping containers, meet their end in the surging waters. One container, however, was not shut correctly and flings open against the storm winds. These toys are blown and drifted to the nearby beach.

The daylight brings rescue helicopters to the scene to save the drifting sailors. After the last man is hoisted up into the chopper, it flies off into the West. The toys are left…alone. It is up to them to survive the dangers of the tropical island and discover a way to get back to civilization, to the play time they deserve.
