"Winning is all that matters!" - Starshriek

Starshriek is a very carefree, and very sadistic, Decepticon. A bit of a joker, he maintains a relaxed and laid-back stance at all times, seemingly appearing to believe he cannot lose. In general, he prefers to avoid fighting altogether, or at least fighting his enemy directly, either having others fight for him or by assuring that he has an 'unfair' advantage. He apparently wanted to be second-in-command of the Decepticons at one point, but has since abandoned his ambition. Now he has become rather lazy, and will quickly lose interest in something if it doesn't offer him immediate entertainment. He also appears to be a bit of a hypocrite, preaching morals that he himself cannot back up. One example being that he believes a true Cybertronian should not fear death, yet he frequently runs away when things turn against him.

History

Starshriek was a Decepticon right from the outset in the war for Cybertron. His belief in the Might makes Right philosophy causing him to despise the weakness that the Autobots represented. He fought alongside many Decepticons during the war, and while many who looked on would claim that he was close with them, in reality he never had a care for anyone save himself. After the war, he disappeared off the records before finally resurfacing on Earth at the height of World War 2. He contented himself with simply wandering the planet and marveling in the chaos that the human race was bringing to itself. He soon realized, however, that his energon levels would not last too much longer. Burrowing beneath the Earth's surface, he remained dormant for many years before finally reawakening shortly after Megatron's defeat at the hands of Optimus Prime and the humans. It wasn't long before he was found by a rogue Autobot-turned-Decepticon by the name of Vortex. He gleefully joined his cause, and their subsequent attack upon several Autobots and humans led him to believe that he had chosen an exciting path.
