"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live."
Jayde is usually very shy and timid around others, but with her family, she is the biggest nutter of the lot. She'll go on and on with loads of stories that no one in the bloody world's ever heard about. Daring sword-fights, Magic spells, a prince in disguise, a heroic battle where light trumps dark in an enchanting tale that no one could've ever fathomed will brew in her mind before bubbling into curiously phrased sentences. Her sisters often think her a bit odd, but that's what make her so loveable. Her voice is very soft and gentile, but it turns dark, and brooding if you should ever upset her. When Jayde gets upset or angry, she's a different person..... Rude, snarky, dark, sly, all around terrifying.... But that adds to her charm. You can euther be her worst enemy, or her best friend.
Life didn't seem all that complicated or horrible for Jaydes family. She and her two sisters couldn't ever have imagined anything better then what they already had. But all that was taken from them, like a rug pulled from underneath their feet. When Rothbart, one of the few knights of the round table, first rebelled against King Arthur, he attempted an assassination, but Jayde's father, Sir Lionel, jumped in front of the fatal blow, and passed on through the veil. When Jayde was a little tyke, no bigger than a goblin, her father promised her that one day he would take her to Camelot, to study with the great sorcerer and healer, Merlin. She aspired to be something good, something noble, and a healer was the best thing for her, considering she was always a sickly child. Since Sir Lionel's death, she's been training everyday, brewing odd potions and combining odd herbs, preparing, getting better and more advanced in her apothecary skills, so that maybe one day she would not only be able to heal and protect her family from any harmful poisions or diseases, but to protect King Arthur, and the rest of the good people of Camelot as best she can.
