Personality
Ictus appears to be a very cold and strict person for anyone who sees him. Or a very dangerous and evil person if he has something in mind for you. Contrary to first appearances Ictus tends to be somewhat quirky and of good conscience when he travels with anyone. He also has a habit for eating muffins.
Equipment
Ictus' equipment normally consists of.
Katana/One handed sword: 1
Knife: 1
Pouches: 2 (One of the pouches always hold ashes.)
Chalk: 1
(And an important note on his clothing, if you are to look carefully all his clothing have magical runes and enchantments woven into them. And he also wears gloves which follow the same rule as the rest of his clothing.
He also has full tattoo's across his arms that are for counter magic. The enchantments/runes on his clothings mostly consist of Blood/black magic along with some light magic here and there.)
History
Before the dark towers emerged to take their hold on the lands. Ictus wielded the title of Vanguard of a small army of elves. When the towers had emerged the army disappeared in their fight against them. Ictus was the only being to come back from their assault, seemingly changed. Since then Ictus has gained a bad reputation for various deaths, and losses of locations to the towers. Ictus tends to stay away from the main cities but when he does enter them, he doesn't stay long. Always carefully watched by guards but never taken into captivity for no one wants to die over rumors.
So begins...
Ictus's Story
Ictus grins at their want for another one for the team. "I would entertain offering my service. But I have some specific things in mind. However. I wouldn't mind working with you."

"Well, that's the long and boring part I would say. But in short, I've been looking for a way to end the towers. Either that be in control, or utter destruction."

Ictus smiled lightly. "The vibe? You mean to say the countless spawn that emerges to envelop only to kill? Yes that would be a good thing to get rid of. But tell me, what have you decided on doing to stop it?"

"And if this General keeps everyone inside. We would force everything outside to spread the lands?" He kept his tone calm, not trying to bash her idea but to more so question/kindly bring up his thought.

Ictus grinned. "It is likely due to the fact I have become so far detached from my 'brethren' that they have labeled me a Dark Elf."

"It is completely fine. I left my prejudice and thought of difference as to race a long time ago. I apologize for anyone who would put you down for your uniqueness."

"You're welcome." He said calmly. "Though I am going to go for a walk while the night is getting late. I have a room here so expect me to be in the same area tomorrow." Ictus said, standing he would give them both a bow.

Ictus The Fourth Floor: As the woman cut through the monsters, there were barely any left alive on the floor. The Dark Elf, finishing off the last in the middle area he slowly walks towards the stairwell. The dogs finishing off those left behind the female warrior, they wait for the Elf to arrive before going towards the stairwell.
Ictus stops, shaking his head where his hair drips of blood. He looks over his shoulder at her. "You can handle yourself. You came here on your own afterall." He said coldly, before starting to continue his walk.
Ictus glanced at the woman out of the corner of his eye. "I have company." He pets one of the dogs who came up on his left side. "But if you insist. I'm not going to worry about you dying. To put it simply, I'm not likely to notice you losing a fight."
Ictus grinned to himself. "I have, but places like these are not the place for them. Either way, prepare yourself." He said, as the dogs rushed ahead of him taking out the two monsters ready to ambush them at the top of the stairwell.
Ictus nods, as he charged up onto the fifth floor. He raised his left hand. "Asinis." He said, his foreign tongue apparently the source of his magic as the blood from the slain beasts drains infront of his hand. The blood infront of him forms a mist that cannot be seen through. It travels towards the monsters in wait as the elf charges with his sword. The blinded monsters falling easily to the elf.
Ictus looked over at the female. "If you wish we can do it on the next to last floor." He said with a grin. "You seem to like it."
Ictus he gestured towards the stairwell. "After you, we only need two or more dead to start." He said smiling. :: This may actually be fun. :: He thought to himself.
Ictus sprints after her, when he reached the top of the stairwell with her he'd outstretch his hand waiting for her to make the first two kills.
Ictus smirks to himself. "Asinis." He says the foreign word again as the blood swirls out from the bodies, to in front of his hand. He gestured his hand forward as the bloody mist moves to blind the monsters.
Ictus quickly sprints into the blood himself as the two fight in the mist of blood once again. The blood throttling screams of the monsters.
