Soul hunters-those who hunt humans who's souls have been tainted by sin. Said humans, become creatures known as Oni. Soul hunters are born with control over a specific element and grow to completely master them. They keep quiet in the shadows, making sure that the human world does not know of their existence. Humans cannot see the Oni. You cannot be made into a soul hunter. You must be born as one.
In this world, creatures such as werewolves, vampires, warlocks, etc..also exist. Not all of them are evil. Soul hunters also have to get rid of any of these creatures who begin harming others.

For many years, two Soul Hunter organizations, the Necro and Illuminadi, have been at war. The Necro believe that all monster-like creatures should be eliminated from Earth, while the Illuminadi think that the different races should get along with each other. Recently, in New York city, a grand crystal, known as Aurora was discovered. This crystal enhanced the powers of the Soul Hunters. The Necro and Illuminadi got in a battle, and amidst the battle, the crystal was shattered into 13 pieces. The pieces then began glowing and shot off into different directions of the city and no piece has not been found yet. The Necro and Illuminadi have been hastily looking for the shards.

Zach and Danny have always been best friends, as close as brothers. They've known each other most of their lives and have always looked after each other. Danny, is a Soul hunter that controls darkness, while Zach is a Soul hunter who controls light. They've been working for the Illuminadi for most of their lives. Zach's parents are top-ranked Soul hunters and he's been trained since he was child. Danny's parents were the same, up until he was five, when his parents supposedly died in a car accident. Since then, Zach's parents took Danny in and they grew up together. Both the boys had different personalities. Zach was more out there, loves to flirt, is friendly and quite talkative. Danny always liked to keep to himself and didn't like opening up to people. Despite being opposites, the boys were best friends.

Clarissa, has recently moved into New York City and soon begins to discover she has control over an element. She's confused about what's happening to her. (I plan to have her encounter Danny and Zach)

One night, a girl with blood all over her appeared in front of the Illuminadi headquarters. The Soul hunters took her in and found out her name was Kirsten. Other than that, the girl has no memory of what happened to her. They test her for Soul hunter ability, and find out she is one as well.

Alright so I plan on having a love..err..square around the characters or something. I also need other characters which don't have to be Soul hunters, and can be werewolves, vampires, warlocks, etc... Soul hunters have power over a certain element, such as darkness, light, poison, lightning, wind, grass, etc...Whatever you can think of. Within reason of course.
