Despite his good looks and outward cockiness, it is all just an act. Inside he is an extremely insecure child who needs to be looked after. Not many people see the more vunerable inner side of him, he trusts few and admits his insecurities to fewer. Having plenty of 'fake' friends pleases his ego that needs constant inflation, but none of them stick around for long so they never really get to see the true Denny. Will one of the girls find him?
He is currently single, despite all he has going for him because he is clingy, always seeking the approval of his partner. Also, his jealousy gets him into trouble, he hates his girlfriends having male friends as he sees them as a threat fighting for his ladies affections, even if they are quite clearly not after anything more than a platonic relationship.

Born English boy with Italian roots, his father abandoned him when he was young, leaving him to grow up with his alcoholic step-mother. She never showed any form of love or affection towards him, only anger and liquor induced violence. The only kind words he ever heard were from his grandmother. Since she died, he always seeks similar forms of approval and praise from those around him.
