Appearance Description
At 5'10", Jin Soo has a lean build, with lean, strong muscles, despite his deceivingly slender appearance. He is skinny at first glance, almost seeming to be able to be blown away by the wind. Jin Soo is mostly lines, there aren't very many curves on his body. Only his face shape is really to be described as soft and giving. Jin Soo's full lips are quick to smile, quick to frown and often pouted when he wants something. He has soft hair that's very easy to style and large eyes. His fingers are slender and long, almost feminine. Jin Soo doesn't have an ounce of fat on him. He's very conscious of what he's eating, as well as very careful with his health. His voice is his most prized possession.
Personality
Jin Soo is terrible at talking about himself and wonderful at criticizing and talking about the other members. He's not one to hide things from anybody and if something displeases him, Jin Soo will make sure everybody knows. He's very clingy, often hugging or in contact with another member at all times. Jin Soo can't even sleep by himself - he has to share a room with someone or else he'll roll around and never sleep. Ever. He works hard when he wants to, but because he loves the other members and wants Rumor to be the best in the world, he works hard at everything when it comes to the group. Jin Soo doesn't like uncleanliness and also has a bit of OCD when it comes to making sure the dorms or the dance studio or the recording studio are clean. Things out of place will be put back into place. He's a caring type, watching out for the health of the other members. He'd prefer to cook large meals every night than have them all eat ramen for a week straight. Jin Soo isn't very open about his emotions and tends to hide his real feelings behind his smile and his words.

History
Jin Soo was born into a regular family, the youngest of three children. He has an older brother and an older sister, both of whom have their own families and jobs now. Jin Soo was born in the later years of his parents' lives, so he was given a lot of attention as a child. It was discovered at an early age that Jin Soo's voice was practically angelic to those around him. He sang solos often in his school chorus and was casted as the star of the local musical quite a few times by the time he was twelve. He moved from the countryside to Seoul when his father was transferred to the bigger office. One day, on the way to school, a recruiting agent heard Jin Soo singing to himself as he walked down the street. He was requested to audition for the company and he did so.
His previous dream had been to be like his father - to work in an office with large windows and a lot of influence, to be commanding in the work place and to be the one that everybody looks up to. Once he started going down the path of being an idol, however...things changed. His dream now is to make Rumor a world class group, and a household name. When he first met Iseul, Jin Soo felt that the two of them clicked. They became best friends, and Jin Soo felt he could finally start opening up about the emotions and the thoughts he had kept inside because he had no idea how to express them except through the words of a song.
