Astrid is very tall, standing at 5'8", with a very athletic physique. She has toned biceps, mostly due to daily wielding of a gun and basic workouts. She has a long dark brown hair that looks dangerously close to black, with one strip of red highlights. She usually has her hair under one of her assortment of beanies or berets. Her eyes are a dark hazel, almost pitch black under certain lightings. Her eyesight is superb which is why she doesn't need to wear glasses, something she finds disappointing. Her attire consists mostly of clothes that she finds comfortable, but garner a difference response from some people. They call her style risque, but they live in a small town and a simple off-shoulder top is considered as too daring. She has no tattoos, but she does have a tongue piercing and a couple of scars from her training days.

Personality:
Astrid is a fairly easy-going girl. People find her easy to talk to and she's extremely sociable. A lot of people confide in her, which is why she finds herself privy to a lot of secrets. She is spontaneous and wishy-washy, something that some people frown upon. They often say that Astrid cannot make up her mind, and more often than not, this is true. Her loyalties are easily swayed as she will always take the road easiest and most beneficial to her. If it's something she sees as a threat, she won't hesitate to use any and all means necessary to rid herself of it. Astrid has a kind face and a contageous smile, but she isn't someone you can trust, especially with your secrets.
Background:
Astrid grew up in London with her parents, but when she was seventeen, she was orphaned due to a care accident. Since she wasn't eighteen yet, she was required to be sent to a temporary foster family. The family she had been sent to turned out to be extremely religious freaks and conspiracy theorist. She frowned upon what the crazy family did, but when she turned eighteen and left, she found that some of their crazy must have rubbed off on her. Still, she continued life and was fairly happy...
Until one day when she was working a particularly late shift bartending at a hole in the wall. A drunk patron confided in her a secret government project that brought people back to life. Of course, she hadn't paid it any mind, thinking that the man was merely drunk. But a couple of weeks later, when The Order began publicly attacking a Dr. Sparks, she knew that the man had been telling the truth. She approached a The Order leader and offered her services, and she had been rewarded handsomely. She used the money to finish school, and once she got her degree, she discovered that she wanted to continue aiding the Order.
Currently, she'd finding small town life quite boring (waitressing at a diner is such a bore), having been used to the city life, but the constant search for the experiments kept her on guard. She doesn't know what she's doing with Erin, and if you ask her, she'd say it's because she thinks Erin is an experiment, but she'd be half-lying to you.
