Cons: Smoker, Low Stamina, Metal plate in left leg due to it being broken, Eye sight is fading.

History: Jason was born and raised in Utah. He was born in McKay Dee hospital, and spent the first 6 years of his life in Ogden. Then spent 15 years in the city of Roy with his parents, Jeff, and Tina. He joined the military at the age of 21, and shipped off to basic in Jan. He joined as a structural civil engineer, and learned how to do just about everything to build a whole house. He has a knowledge from deploying 2 times once to Iraq, and once to Afghanistan, about military weapons, hand to hand combat, and tactics used. After his 6 year enlistment he found himself a wife, and had 3 children with her. During the outbreak, his wife was bitten by a creature, and in horror he panicked, and once the mother turned she killed their children. Jason was beside himself with grief, and went on a killing streak. He hunted down every walker that he could find, just to kill them. He killed neighbors, and people that he had known for a long time, and didn't' care. He had lost his mind to the pain of losing his wife, and 3 children to this dammed plague.

Present: Jason help establish the tent colony that was setup in Ogden Canyon as a giant fortress to keep out the walkers. He designed the doorway with the pulley and motor system, and helped to erect the giant wall that now keeps out the walkers. They only setup the one side, due to the large reservoir that blocks the other end. Jason heads out on his own a lot to gather what he can for himself now, and mostly keeps to himself. He fears that he will lose someone close to him again.

The days had started growing colder, as a sure sign that winter was starting in Utah. Jason was out, and about looking for resources like he usually does in the wee hours of the morning. He was bundled in a heavier brown coat, and had his large ax strapped to his back. Jason had spent his entire life in the State, minus the 6 year term he spent in the Air Force. He was a Red Horse vertical structural engineer, and helped to build the tent city that had formed just up into Ogden canyon. The place was like a fortress, with the entrance just up 12th Street in Ogden. The center of the canyon had been setup like a large funnel, and huge gates about 15 feet tall were operated by a pulley system, and a few motors that were salvaged out of some cars. Jason had a fishing pole in his hands, and was heading down the river next to the now abandoned dinosaur park. He was only a couple miles from the gate, to the tent city. He had a few family members that had survived the initial wave of what everyone was calling walkers. It had been some time, but the man was hurting on the inside greatly. He lost a lot in the initial flood of walkers, and was only able to do what he could. He felt like a failure deep down, but his optimism kept him going. He was a pretty up beat person that tried to see things on the positive. J

Jason came to a old bench that was closer to the river that he could sit on, and slipped a few salmon eggs on the hook, and tossed the line in a few times and let is drift down stream.

Jason snagged himself a fish, and spoke to himself as he slowly reeled it in.
"Atta boy. Don't you spit that hook out." He stated to himself. While Jason was walking toward the river, he caught his bad leg on a slippery rock, and fell forward losing his pole in the river. The river was swift enough that the pole swept down stream, and with it his dinner.

Jason came up with a rage, and started to pickup rocks, and throw them into the river with a growl to the nothingness. "YEaah! I fucking hate this world!!" His screamed echoed in the canyon. He then realized after he had snapped out of it that he shouldn't have done that, and headed toward dinosaur park.

The place had been gutted of anything useful, but the solid stone building would be a good place for him to hide out for a while. That yell into the canyon would bring un-invited guests for sure. Jason moved just behind one of the counters, and slipped the ax off his back. He laid it accross his lap, and reached to the inside pocket of the coat to pull out a little silver flask.

The silver flask had been filled with tequila, or whatever liquor he could find.

After about 2 or 3 sips from the flask Jason decided that it was time to start his walk back to the tent city. Just as he rose from the counter, he realized that he wasn't alone. There was a straggling walker that was left in the concrete building. The ax when Jason stood rested in his lift hand just at the hilt, and the ax head was on the ground. Jason did a whistle to get it's attention, and then charged it with a heavy overhead chop.

The heavy chop came down splitting the thing in two, and the head of the ax hit the floor with a loud clang that echoed in the building. Jason didn't give it any time, and headed out the broken glass door and west towards the canyon. He needed to get home. The sun was starting to go down, and he didn't want to be stuck out of the walls by night fall. It wouldn't be a very good place.

Jason got to the top of the road by a small white building that was called Rainbow Gardens, and the wall could be seen from there. It was just a hop over the small bridge, and up the road just a ways to get to the gate of the city.

Jason wasn't thrilled with going back anytime. He hated the church leaders that were in there that were in the process of gathering a following to overthrow the leaders.

The people tried to keep it a democracy as best it could with voting and what not, but it just wasn't happening. Jason knew it was going to take someone special to run the place.

When he crossed the street, Jason smiled big, and acted like he always does, and buried the pain deep inside himself. "Hey, let me in." There wasn't a response back to him other than a crank of the motor, and one of the large doors opening, just enough for a person to squeeze through.

Jason squeezed his body through the gate opening, and the large gate shut with a massive creek, then a clang when the doors shut behind him. The place was mostly barren in the front of the base, aside from the few tents spread near the gate for the guards. There was 2 vehicles that were parked near the gate that were setup as a taxi to the back of the base where the majority of the people live. "Ah hell, I have to wait for the night group to get back before I can head home." Jason spat in the dirt.

The guards at the gate were doing their rounds, and the chill of winter was getting ready to start. The biting breeze was a little chilly. Jason was bundled decently for the weather, but the city don't have the supplies it needs to last through another winter. There is going to be some hunting, and gathering that's going to need to be done, and Jason always got the job of convincing the church leaders to send out a group. If they didn't get the food they needed, then it was going to be the worst winter since shit hit the fan.

Jason moved to the edge of the road where the Ogden river was at, and picked up a handful of rocks, and started tossing them into the water. The waiting was going to drive him pretty batty. Jason is rather impatient with waiting, save for a few things in life.
