Others: Zero is pretty much his "stepfather." He doesnt hate vampires, but he was put into day class because of Zero's request. He's NOT related to Zero, he was just raised by him after he lost his family. He also has trouble controlling his blood lust.
Takashi had a hard life back when he was human. His father was killed by a vampire so he lived with his mother only. When he was around the age of 6, there was another vampire attack, and this time his mother was killed. The pureblood who founs Takashi turned him into one, but also gave him her blood. Because of that he wont be falling into a level E. Of course his memories were erased for some reason, and was found by Zero. So he was "adopted" by him. They lived somewhat like brothers, but at the same time, Takashi thought of him as a father. Even though he was raised by him, Takashi didnt really use Zero's last name. When he was old enough, Zero sent him to Cross Academy, asking the chairman to put him into the day class instead of the night class. But Takashi really doesnt remember what happened before he met Zero.
