Fun loving and reckless. can sometimes come off as crude or malicious, but it's all in good fun. He enjoys fighting, but tries not to, because of a promise to his daughter to only fight for protection of loved ones.
Icarus was born to two Vampires living north of london. His Father was a pureblood, who turned his mother into a vampire. He grew up on knights and fairy tales, and traveled the globe during the renaissance, making him very open to new ideas. When he was 30, Vampire hunters killed his parents, but were unable to kill him, due to his regenerative abilities. The hunters were dealt with harshly.
Over the years, Icarus studied to keep up with the changing times. He traveled all over the world and as such is a fount of experience, though the life of constant conflict left him with many emotional and mental scars that his healing ability couldn't cover up. One day, after a long battle with a powerful Level E, He dragged himself into a pub for his kind, looking to drown his sorrows in blood and whiskey. It was here that he met Ami Love, a human who worked at the pub as a cook. Though she had recently left a relationship, the two bonded quickly, eventually becoming married, and even giving birth to a half blood daughter, Nes.
Shortly after Ami left Icarus for her former lover, taking his daughter with her. The rage and sorrow he felt almost drove him mad, pushing him to the edge of becoming a level E. For many years, he blindly looked for any fight he could find. Killing was all he knew he was good at, so it was what he would do. Five years later, his now Ex-Wife contacted him, telling him his daughter wanted to see him. Unable to resist, and in fact regretting missing her growing up, he went.
As a vampire, Nes was beautiful and unnaturally intelligent and mature for her age. It was her who told Icarus about Cross academy, and her desire to someday attend it's nightly sessions. Since her mother didn't want Icarus around, He decided the only way he could be a good father is to stay for a term at this academy, and make sure it's safe for the day his daughter came for herself.
