Paskal's mind had a flashback of the minute it took to cut the wings off the angel. Screams coming from the other Angels those souls were trapped in his choxmy (soul catcher), he all most had another to add to it but a shot of a pistol hit him in the knee and he knew that the angel was the last one to help him but she would not forgive him so he was licking his wound talking to himself.

Then as the interceptor of his thoughts, he smelt blood. It wafted to him, the faintest of scents, carrying on the zephyrs that ebbed and flowed throughout the room from the window left open. With the scent of blood, hinted trouble and dark eyes sliced to the window as if searching for the source.
He got up, ears picking up on conversation that he could hear distinctly. Channeling through his mind, he located the voice then was about to ignore it when he heard beating...faint beating of a heart along with a soft human voice, a female's and she sounded as though weakly warning off whoever the hell was bothering her. Getting up from his chair, Connor walked to the window, the weight of his booted feet causing the floorboards to creak and squeak under his weight. Stepping up on the sill of the window, he braced a hand on the frame then freefalled out the window. His body then disappeared, moving through; channeling the source.
Landing just behind them, body hidden by the thick shadows, he stared down at them, assessing. Then walking out, steps silent and timed, he stopped just a little behind them both. She was bleeding, profusely and he frowned.
"If she says don't touch her, then leave her there."

With the last of his words again he disappeared to only appear into the building, walking down the hall towards the kitched. grabbing a bottle of fake blood and shoving it in the microwave to warm only for a few seconds. Then pulling the bottle out and gulping it down like he would never eat again "Damn that /Vamp/ stupid mutts these romatechs are" he stared down into the empty bottle before throwing it against the wall, the glass shattered hitting the ground in pieces "I almost had real food not this bull crap" a growl was building in his chest but he knew other vampires would easily hear it so he kept it in sighing inward "What to do!" be pushed the silverware off the counter in his mini rampage it was blood lust slowly creeping in trying to break him of his 20 year break from human blood. As quick as the rampage started it ended with him leaving to the halls once again towards his room punching a wall along the way

Chilling winds picked up and he flapped his coat, as if to shrug off the cold then lifted her in his arms. The first impression of his mind was just to leave here there. And he would have, yet he couldn't shake the feeling that embedded itself thick within him that she was being hunted. Leaving her there would have caused all sorts of possible hells. Not that he gave a damn honestly. Negative karma was always handed to a person and nothing could be done except to bear it. For almost a second, his mind wanted to pull him into reverie of a past event but he shut it off. He had no time for that tonight. Her body felt limp in his hands and for a second he stared down at her limp and almost weightless body in his hands.
She was paling and her body stunk of raw blood mixed with the scents that coalesced in the air. He thought to take her to the mansion, but instead, teleported to his hunting lodge in the woods. There would be a better place to take a look at her wounds and see what could be done. Then he could decide whether he should really help her or just kill her.
Once there, he switched on the lamp by the bed and laid her on her stomach on it. shrugging off his coat, he flung it carelessly over the back of the chair and went to the kitchen to get a few things, including a bottle of liquor.

{Where am I, did he take my warning.. where is the heavenly host?, bunny could help me} her thoughts flooded in but she could'nt do a thing but lay there and hope no mortal touched her.
Romain was speaking to an old partner of his in the dinning hall, Ester knew something was up he tapped his fingers repeatedly against the table almost ignoring his friend "romain did you notice that?" Romain blinked slightly lost "noticed what?" Ester had stopped tapping his fingers on the table "The chattering had stop the scent of blood is gone.. I was waiting for the person to die I didnt want to run into a malcontent" Romain raised an eyebrow "Im hybrid my senses aren't as good as yours but that brings me to the fact there was blood and chatter had a feeling a malcontent could be around and not warn anyone?" Ester had got up looking off into the distant window "connor has left as well" Romain raised an eyebrow again "connor leaving with a mortal? he would never feed on humans" Both men shared a glance "trouble im guessing get shanna if theres blood someones hurt who would know better then a mortal doctor?" Ester nodded running one room over shanna once he finished explaining everything she gathered her things rushing with him to Romain "where would connor go in an emergency.." Shanna blinked "south dakota? no not after casimir killed so many people.. the hunting lodge! therez mortal food and weapons for protection" "shanna you are a gods sent" Romain smiled at his wife before pulling her close the two males and female had disappeared only to re appear on the porch of the hunting cabin
"connor" Shanna said knocking on the door "There blood alright and a mortal" ester said the other two nodded

Connor shuddered, closed his eyes, took a breath. A deep, calming one. It was involuntary, he couldn't stop it. It was one of the most rare reflexes he ever had. And he needed it, to block off that memory from infiltrating the nothingness of his mind.
Getting up for a while, he headed down the stairs to get something. What it was, he didn't know. But at that particular moment in time, he just needed to be out the room. Away from her. He paused and reached in his pocket for his packet of cigarettes. Sliding one up, he reached for his lighter; lit the end and took a deep inhale. Smoking was one of the few habits he'd picked up overtime, and for an immortal as himself who gained little to no pleasure from adapting some human habits; smoking and drinking were the only two he had to say which helped him on most days to just get by.

He paused on a puff, then took the cigarette from between his lips when he heard the knocking. A familiar voice called out to him and he clenched his jaw. Irritated? A word too mild. Swallowing it all, he went to the door and twisted the knob, pulling the door open for Shawna and the rest to come in. Flicking the top end of his cigarette, he watched them; a little skeptically as they filed in and he closed the door behind the final one to get through.
"Why the sudden visit?"
