Personality:Krell is a loyal sailor. The captain can be weak... at times, so Krell is the opposite. He is a very stoic man, rarely, if ever, showing his thoughts or feelings on situations unless directly asked. He does not talk about himself and when people ask he merely grunts back as he does not ask them it is only common courtesy that they do not ask back. He is a professional following the captains orders to the T and ensuring complete excellence in the men.

Biography: (not going to say his earlier life because I want that to be revealed slowly, but will talk roughly about his time on the Mermaid)
Krell, like many of the pirates on the mermaid, merely showed up and asked for a job. He was a bizarre sight such a large scarred man asking to be apart of the crew, but he was far more skilled then the others, so he was hired on. He did not speak much on the crew and many of the crew were frankly creeped out by him. He was not stupid shown by his skill at cards, nor was he useless due to his skill at sailing... but something was never right around him. He always followed orders, but sometimes would do what he believed was necessary.
When the old captain was sick... it was Krell who put him out of his misery, but that is for him to know. No one else knows, and it will stay that way. Krell does what needs to be done that is his way. The new captain, Jazz, put another man up as first mate, but he was not good at the job, so Krell asked to be his replacement and got the job. He got the crew in shape and in line teaching them their place on board. It is not a lie to say that the men are far more comfortable in the captains presence than Krells. He ihas shown to be loyal to the captain, almost fanatically loyal for reasons known only to him.
