Description
Name: Furui Shisoka (roughly translated to 'old thinker' in Japanese)
Age: Early-mid seventies (as old as possible without being immobile; he can still work hard and well)
Gender: Male
Occupation: Potter (he has a shop in the village that sells his beautiful hand made pots, the best around. He has a strong connection to the forest, since he must walk along the stream to find clay for his masterpieces. He used to be in the military.)
Appearance: He has lots of wrinkles, usually wears a baggy gray hoodie and sandals with frayed shorts or something. He wears his gray hair short but messy, and he can usually be found smoking (a habit he picked up in the army). He always has many clay-stains on his clothes, and his hands are strong yet gentle, and covered in calluses.
Clothing: neutral colors, covered in clay-stains from pottery. He doesn't really pay much attention to his appearance.
Likes: poetry, tobacco, the forest, pottery, peace and quiet, being kind and a role-model to children, and hard work.
Dislikes: heavy machinery and loud noises (reminds him of fighting), disrespectful people, and disrespect to nature and beauty, talking too much about his military days
Hobbies: long walks in the woods, pottery, story telling, reading/writing poetry.
Personality: he is gentle and kind, and is always calm and confident and overall happy about life. His fuse is by no means short, but if you anger him, beware; sometimes he's fought in more than his share of battles and seen things that would scar most.
Background: fought in the army right out of school, in which he experienced many of his best friends getting killed (and he had to kill others' best friends, too, of course), after wards he sought out peace of mind in the arts, learning from one of the village elders. Before his teacher died, he left his shop and masterful pottery secrets with Furui. He has carried on his teacher's work ever since, and cares more about preservation of the arts and natural beauty of Kakatsucho more than anything else.
Personal belongings: he has a shop in the village square, and he has a small hut in the woods where he stays while gathering clay or just simply to sit and enjoy the wilderness. He is very wealthy, (his pottery is semi-famous among Japanese artisans and rich business people), but never spends more than he must.
