Background: Ichuzu Unseiko, originally Koun no Megami, is the local goddess of fortune who lives in an old shrine in the forest. Only the priest of the shrine knows who she really is. When in town she is the cook Ichuzu Unseiko, serving up ramen, tonkatsu and curry for the villagers. Her actual age is unknown but it may be well over 1000. She is said to have existed as long as the village has. She has protected the village from bad weather and ensured it good business. Get off on her wrong side and you might find yourself in poverty within a week. She has a dislike for the visitors and will try to stall construction work at all costs.
