Wanderlust is what makes every adventurer and explorer who they are. Either some were bitten by the travel bug or they already had it running through their veins from the start. Most that get bitten by the travel bug never go back to the way they were before, they stay like that, never to lose their sense of wonder. The urge to see whats out there beckons to many but only a few act on this desire. Most people don't understand, they tell us to save our money for college, a house or car so that we can grow up and merge into the line of mindless drones that do nothing but work, eat and sleep. The very few that break away from this become what we call the open-minded and free. The adventurers and explorers, the people that normal folk envy because they aren't afraid to do what they want with their life, thus the story begins.


On a beautiful summer afternoon, three group of friends who have never met each other before board the same train going anywhere. They all come from different backgrounds but what they all have in common is their wanderlust. They honestly wanted to explore, learn new things that schools couldn't teach them and get hands-on experience. They wanted to meet new people, see beautiful places and enjoy each others company along the way. Fate, on the other hand, had different plans for these souls that they would have never seen coming.


After meeting one another and having a little too much to drink from the lounging cart, one of the friends suggested ditching the train. Why don't we go backpacking they said. With everyone feeling more than merry, they all eventually agreed and hoped off on the next stop. At the time it seemed like a good idea and. . . what if it was?

Growing up in Brooklyn N.Y and having graduated from NYU with a degree in photography, Tess has always had a sense of adventure since she was young. Her parents didn't really like her playing outdoors a lot but the problem was, Teresa was the outdoorsy type. She was mostly house raised with the occasional, "can I go out with my friends?" during high school or sneaking out but other than that they usually all hung out at the house. She always dreamed of traveling the world with her trusty Polaroid camera and two best friends and that dream seems to be finally coming along.

After graduating college with a degree in Dramatic Writing, Elliot struggled for some time before landing a job writing for a television network. For a while, she lived blissfully with her girlfriend before she realized being a small-time writer wasn't what she wanted. Elliot quit her job and pursued a life of stand-up comedy, which is quite difficult in a city as big as New York. Bills went unpaid and Elliot fell into a slump. Her girlfriend finally left, fed up with Elliot's moping. With little left, she decided to join her friends on their trip. She hasn't told anyone about how drastic her situation back home is, however, as she is afraid of her friends pitying her.
