"You said we'd be a team forever..."
Allan is generally a rather nice guy, but he does have his moments of grumpy outbursts. When he feels his nerves are being played upon or stress levels get too high, he becomes frustrated and rather snappy. A tad on the neurotic side of the scale, he's prone to occasionally freaking out, and likes things to be 'just right'. Typically he's quite docile, but finds it difficult to make friends. It's not that he's shy, it's simply that Allan is rather socially awkward and can never find the right words. It's why he bonded with his Pokemon so well; they don't judge the way other people do.
Allan, however, is quite easily frustrated by Helium's protective nature. There are times he's more than happy having the other by his side, but he feels as though he doesn't have much freedom when Helium continues to freak out over his well-being.
In a nutshell: Somewhat neurotic - Doesn't cope well under stress - Socially awkward - Friendly general demeanor.
An axe has been chosen by Allan to protect himself in the war against Arceus. It's nothing special; just a rather rusty old thing he found in his shed.
Allan lived and grew up in Cerulean City, watching jealously as the neighbourhood children played with their Pokemon outside. Theortically, he was old enough to have a Pokemon by now, being twelve years old, but his parents were concerned that their son was not responsible enough to take care of one. However, upon finding Allan tending to a stray Rattatta he'd snuck in the house and having a serious discussion with one another, they thought that perhaps maybe, just maybe, Allan was ready. And so that's when he got his first Pokemon, a Squirtle he named "Ding".
Allan had rather protective parents, and so was never allowed to venture too far from Cerulean city. As of such, most of his Pokemon were native to the surrounding area; a Fearow, a Mankey, an Oddish and a Magikarp caught accidently when by the river. However, it was late one night when a Ghastly floated into the city, looking for a place to stay or some poor souls to scare. Allan was afraid, but when Ding rushed head-first into battle and took the Ghost-type down, he caught it.
Thus, Helium joined the team.
Allan was absolutely heartbroken when Ding and the others turned on him.
