Faction Structure: Matriarchal (led by a Goddess)
The Legion originated from a severely secluded mountain region in the north and began its campaign coming down from the snowy waste. It now sits within the city of Agarth a massive walled fortress bordering their original homeland to the new world. Agartha is called the Hive city in some places because after its capture the Legion began a great rebuilding of its structure. Its now a great spiraling city that rises into the skyline and can be easily seen from many of its neighboring lands. Due to its habit of removing the memories of visiting non converts much of the knowledge that has been gained was from war or sparse moments when the city could be spied upon.
Social Structure:
While many of the people within the Legion are seen as equal and fairly treated, there can be glimpses of a social caste structure that still underlines many of the normal day to day activities. Woman are seen as the full mediators in the Legion and broker many of the normal day to day activities, men are still active though and it is only by recognized social standard that woman find themselves in such positions and not by some known social bias. All races are excepted into the Legions arms and all are able to serve in both the war and economy easily, though there is a slight lax on acceptance to brand new converts as there is a short learning curve as to the way things work.
There are several high born families that exist within and it is usually from these families that higher ranked officers and delegates come from.
The life inside Agartha and within the Legion are governed by several rules that are simple to follow and nonsensical. As well the Legion can be seen more as a faith structure then as a military might in the respects that all people under its banner, coincide to a certain doctrine of life. They pay homage to their goddess and even are visited by her in certain festival. Though this visit is through a medium of sorts and not in any way an appearance of a god on Ternidal's soil.
Military Structure:
Outside of the military several of the more common workers are trained in war, however it is still mandatory that every family member at some point in their lives have severed the Legion's military for a minimal of two years. There is no stipulation on of whether or not certain races are required or bared from certain sections of service. Units however are separated into folds of tiers and are usually situated based on experience, skill and lineage.

Foot Soldiers (spears/swords & Shields)
Mounted Soldiers (Lances/Long Swords) *Due to the strange fauna that exist outside of their homeland, a portion of the mounts are not restricted to being horses.
Archers (Crossbows/Short Swords)
-Units- (tier2)
Slayers (Great Swords) *anti cavalry and other large units, Heavy armor.
Champions (War Pick/Flanged Mace/Warsickle/Bastardsword) *Duel wielding unit, either one to each large formation of foot troops or deployed in a group of five lead by a highly skilled Captain. Heavy armor with magical wards and the Captain usually wields a large double handed weapon.
-Units- (tier3)
Siege Crew (Large Cannon or Mortars) *Crews are well trained in the operation and repair of their war machines. Lacking weapons themselves however. Cannons fire iron ball/shot, or munitions supplied by the alchemist guild house.
Magi (Scepters, Staffs) *Lightly equipped specialist, Mainly support troops. Identified by their colors as equal to their abilities. Red=Attack: Fire based magic. White=Defense: Healing and Shielding magic. Black=Support: Empathic or Necromantic spells to assist or weaken troops.
-Special Unit- (Prestige)
Aydakeen (Weapons & abilities vary) *Known by their gender. Matriarch = Female
Not much is known about the Aydakeen outside of the Legion, however it is believed that they are only produced in limited numbers and their is a certain amount of social stigma between them and the rest of the Legion's forces. More commonly referred to as Black Brides on the battle field it is only seen that woman are the only ones capable of becoming or even surviving the process that makes them what they are. It has been seen that the ritual can be performed in the war zone and it involves the process of ingesting a certain liquid that is heavily guarded. The transformation that follows can be rather violent and somewhat disturbing but the power it affords cannot be mistaken. The woman hide these new forms under thick dark robes or extremely concealing dresses. Many have even had their own bodies further modified by the guilds to further focus their powers.

Aceenia (Prime Matriarch) Believed to be the ruler of the Legion. Some say she is the daughter of their Goddess Altees, though this is speculation seeing as she has never been seen in public.
Keizer Shosolas (War Council Patriarch) The undisputed ruler of the Legions military might, a vastly powerful Shamanic Warrior born and raised for the purpose of leading the Legion to peace.
Cain Ashenrov (Magi Guild Lord) Leader and administrator or the countless houses and guilds that riddle Agarthas social caste. A somewhat disturbed and very reclusive individual. However knowledge of him dates back several centuries, even before the Legion was seen in the current realm.
