Setting
This port welcomes everyone, and anything to its doors. You just have to be fast with your pulse gun to survive.
The alien in question sat down, "Sortee okay, sortee not, been jammed in with delegant." Devon narrowed her eyes, "Stupid Command, don't know when to stop pestering harmless mercs, how is Captain Yul." The alien chuckled, or what seemed like a chuckle coming from the being. "Been in Command all dye, probably wantee to puhch something by now." Devon shook her head in agreement, "thats how I always feel after being in Command all day."
She sipped on her drink, examining the door again as a couple of drunk pirates came in, "You waitee on someone Master James," the alien said as he followed her gaze. "Some bounty hunter been asking questions about one of my crew, and I rather not let her handle the situation." The other got a smile on his face, "Miss Petra," came the inquiry and she smiled back at the alien, "Yes Quad how did you guess, and she rather kill the bastard than let me figure out who sent him." Quad looked with a little bit of inquiry in his eyes at her. "You meanee you don't wantee to kille him."
Devon looked at him with a thoughtful look in her eyes
"Well not at the moment."
"Sortee surprisee."
"But I ain't going to sit and talk pleasantries either."
Quad glanced at her, "I was wondering about the crew of Forgorian Pirates outside.
She gave him a grin, "I want to assess my opponent, they say he is really good, and well very hot."
Quad shook his head and then one of his arms, and then one of his legs. "You aren't a good enemy to have Master James" She smiled, "Which is something I hope you never had to deal with Quad.
The door opened with a loud bang, "Fuck the command...fuck them straight to Acer's Point." Quad stood up and gave his Captain a salute, Devon just looked up annoyed at the man. "Hard day Yul," she said nonchalantly.
Yul motioned dismissively at Quad, and glared at Devon, "What do you think, you know how it is..."
A smirk appeared on Devon's face, "Buy you a drink," she motioned for the rolling robot, whom came over to her, she pushed in her order and a glass of bluish liquid appeared on the robot's tray.
Yul smiled at her, "You never cease to amaze me.
Devon glanced at the door, standing there was Ka'tar her second in command.
"Sometimes I amaze myself, I have business to attend to, excuse me gentlemen.
She left the two in an equally shocked silence. Something was up, and by the looks of it Devon was going to thoroughly enjoy it
But this time he was hoping for a fuck-up
The contract would run out on her in a month, and he didn't intend that to happen. It would mar his perfect record. He tugged the hood up tighter as he didn't want anyone to actually see him walk into this bar.
That would mar his reparation.
Yet as he neared the place, he could tell that something was off, and he actually smiled. Forgorian's, five of them, two at the front, three at the back. It was his internal computer warning him of the danger. Why the hell would anyone set five lowlifes after him, and he should have guessed this was a trap. None on in their right minds would actually go into that crap bar by choice. Well not unless they were a fan of Korian Starmead...
He slowed his steps, glancing about as he realized they were going to have an audience if he didn't try to go into another direction. However maybe that is what his trap-tress wanted, to actually see if his skills were up to par. A smile appeared on his face. Oh he would be happy to oblige if that was what they wanted, he had been itchin for a good fight.
As the five closed in on him, he noticed they were in the pushing toward the center of the outside area, He glanced around, still looking unaware that anything was going on, and found he was going to what the locals dubbed the ring. It was where arguments happens, fights were settled and debates took place. There was an balcony overhead, for well...females. Only males were allowed on the lower level around the ring, no females were allowed in the ring either. It was sort of a backwards policy, but Shin'tar was sort of a backwards society. Delta had a strict policy, even if many went against it.
He found himself standing in the middle of the circle there, the five staring at him like he was a piece of meat. He heard the chatter sort of stop in the lower level, as he lowered the hood of his cape. His silver eyes looked at the ones who were circling him, as his computer was scanning for more potential threats. He glances up to the balcony. He didn't trust females, however one caught his eye. She didn't look like one of the ones you would catch down the street, she had a black uni-suit on, curves that seemed to never end and flaming red hair.
He had to admit, he always had a thing for red-heads.
She was talking to a hooded character next to her, who with the slightest movement you could tell her skin was a light purple color. They looked both uninterested in what was going on below, which was probably the norm for most on the balcony. The pulse gun,,,and crossbow on the red-head told him, she wasn't just some ordinary girl.
His curiosity was getting the better of him and he had five assholes to take care of first.
