Rai has long, dark black hair with red highlights that shine in the sun. He has bangs that are facelong and he usually has his hair tied in the back. Sometimes he'll leave his hair down, but that's only when he can't find a hairtie. His eyes are a dark green color, which will actually look black in dark lighting. He's 5'11" and looks slender, although he is actually rather muscular. His skin is a light tan color with a smooth, to-kill-for complexion. He often wears a black trenchcoat, black Victorian style pants, black boots, red gloves, and a black top hat with a red sash on it. This, however, is mostly for show whenever he goes out to cause trouble. He might be a villian, but he does like to wear casual things such as jeans and a t-shirt. When at home, he will often wear something simple, like a button-up shirt, dress pants, and his favorite black jacket. He has a certain love for a good jacket, but he would never admit to something as frivolous as that.
When out causing trouble, he tends to go with the cheesy obviously-villian costume just to screw with peoples minds when he actually kills them. He loves seeing the confusion on thier shallow faces. Remember, kids, just 'cause a villian looks cheesy doesn't mean he won't rip your heart out and eat it. Anyway, on any other occasion he prefers to dress casually. He also prefers to be clean shaven.

On a slightly different note, Rai doesn't wear makeup. He considers it unmanly to do so under any circumstances. However, he did wear lipstick once but he was in middle school and Chandra made him do it. Thus, his fear of makeup.

Personality:

Even though he's evil, he's actually pretty playful. He likes to entertain himself with sick jokes and torturing people. It obviously means trouble whenever he smiles, which is quite often. He laughs at other people's pain, and looks death straight in the eyes. He is also a mischevious lover of pranks, almost always pulling them on Chandra's workers or even his own cult members. He doesn't show it when he is sad. Although it is rare, when he is sad he will usually find a place to be alone for a while. Hes moody, but he doesn't show that either. He always puts on a smile and a show for the crowd. However, his temper is almost legendary. It's very hard to make him angry, but once you do you can expect to die. In a good way, because your death with most likely entertain him in its excruciating painfullness. Secretly, he loves sweets. It's very possible that its his one and only weakness. (not really, but it is a good way of getting on his good side.)
Although he puts on a smile and acts carefree, deep down he is never happy. He hasn't felt happiness for a very, very long time. He actually hates a lot of things about life. When he feels an emotion, he tends to feel it strongly and revels in the feeling.
He does like some normal things, like ramen, video games, and watching people squirm as they die. Wait, that last one wasn't very normal, was it? My bad. He doesn't like anything spicy, not even curry. Actually, he kind of hates curry. His favorite color is red, but you probably already guessed that. He also likes bunnies, nachos, and eating. He's not a morning person and tends to sleep the day away. He likes to flirt with girls, and sometimes boys if he feels like it. He doesn't like being surprised, and he also doesn't like the holidays. He doesn't like the cold, and hates snow. Summer is naturally his favorite season. He doesn't watch tv, as he prefers movies instead. His favorite video game system is the old school Nintendo 64. He friggin' loves that thing, no matter how outdated it is. He also likes the Xbox and the PS3. He hates the Wii. He also hates the Kinect. He also likes to exercise on occasion, which to him is every day. His favorite food is ramen, although he also enjoys yakisoba (japanese stir-fry). His favorite drinks are tea and coffee, which he usually coerces the other cult members to make for him.
Also, one of his most favorite things to do (besides cause trouble) is to play the cello. He's very good at it, as he plays at a professional level.

History:

Raizel has no memory of his past. He has no idea where he was born, where he came from, or even what his name was until Chandra's family found him. He was 14 at that time, or roughly around that age since he didn't know his birthday. According to Chandra, they found him out in the rain, holding on to his only possesion: a cello. He was standing in the middle of the street with the blankest look they had ever seen. Luckily, they were able to get him out of the street before any cars passed by. They took him in and took care of him, treating him as thier own. For a while, it was like Rai had no emotion, like he was a mere shell of himself. Chandra, however, instantly liked him. She was always with him, and seemed to love it whenever Rai would play his cello, which seemed to be the only thing he remembered how to do from his past. After a while, Rai finally began to open up to her, even though he couldn't remember anything of his past. Seemingly, for the first time in his life, he felt something. And it was all thanks to Chandra. Soon enough, he formed a special bond with her and fell in love. Back then, he would follow her wherever she went. She even gave him a name. "Raizel."

The days passed by as they went to school together, happily in like with each other. They were practically inseperable. Raizel continued playing the cello in hopes of returning his memory, but to no avail. No matter how much he played, he simply couldn't remember anything but how to play it. The thing was, he was exceptional at it. Unusually exceptional.....but in time, it didn't matter. He soon found a love for the cello, regardless of whether or not his memory would return to him.
One day, Raizel took his cello to school with him, something he had never done before. He was planning to try out for the Orchestra class, so that he could learn something to impress Chandra with. He was on his way to his audition when he was passing through the courtyard of the school.
"Hey, nerd! What do you got there, a dinosaur?" A group of boys had converged on him, making fun of the size of his cello case. They had been jealous of Rai. Chandra was popular at the school; she was beautiful and smart, and all the other boys liked her. They were jealous that Chandra was always with him, no matter what.
"What do you guys want? I'm gunna be late!" He remembered complaining almost nasally. He really was going to be late and it worried him.
"You better leave Chandra alone! She's ours!"
"No she's not! You guys are stupid!" He remembered seeing the twisted look on their faces when he called them stupid. He remembered enjoying it, just a little bit.
"Oh yeah?" One of the boys grabbed on to his cello, trying to shake it from his grasp. The other boys followed suit, shaking the cello out of his grasp.
"Stop it! Leave my cello alone!" He remembered almost crying, that cello was everything to him.
"Then say you'll leave her alone!" One of the boys retorted. Rai couldn't leave Chandra alone, either. He loved her just as much as he loved his cello.
"No!"
Rai watched as they took his precious cello out of its case. Rai tried to pull them off, but they were older and simply too strong. He watched in horror as they lifted it up and prepared to smash it into a nearby stone bench. "NO!" He went to push into one of the boys, but the next thing he knew his fingers were turned into knives. He stabbed the boy, although unwittingly. The boy dropped like a brick, his blood pooling on the ground. Rai looked at his hand, then looked at the others, who were backing away slowly. He smiled. One by one, he stabbed them until his cello was safely dropped to the ground. Gently, his picked up the heavy cello and carefully put it back in its case, the boy's blood making smudge marks on the wood finish. Finally, his hands returned to normal. He found that he could change himself into knives at will that day, through the blood of others. To be honest, he actually enjoyed it. Seeing the others cower in fear kind of......amused him, oddly enough. He began to laugh. He laughed and laughed.
That is, until he heard a sniffle from behind a pillar. He looked over to see Chandra, scared and crying. Once he saw her, she ran away.

He chased her. What else would he do? Somehow, he had to explain to her that it wasn't his fault. It was what he was, but it wasn't his fault. She was fast, and outran him for hours. Finally, he caught her in a corner.
"Chandra, are you ok?"
"Get away from me!"
"I'm not going to hurt you, Chandra. I love you."
"Just like you weren't going to hurt those boys?!?"
"I couldn't help it! My fingers just changed on thier own!"
"Yeah, but I'm pretty sure you followed them on your own! And killed them!"
"I love you, I would never hurt you!"
"I don't care! You're a monster! GO AWAY!" As she yelled at him, he couldn't help but feel angry. She was a vampire, and she was telling him that he was a monster? Didn't she love him at all? Didn't she believe him?
"Chandra, don't you love me? Can't you accept me for who I am?" He remembered asking her quietly. He remembered his sight turning a little red as she shook her head no.
"You're a monster, Rai....you....you enjoyed killing those boys. I saw it. I just....I can't accept you!" She yelled once more at the end, causing Rai's poor, young heart to fall to pieces. Without really knowing why, he pointed at her.
"If you can't love me, if you can't accept me, then die." He had answered in such a cold and ruthless voice, he barely remembered that it was his own. He didn't know how it was possible, but he was so distraught that he shot what felt like part of his soul at her. Her screams tore through the air, a kind of music in its own right. He saw her back explode, blood and pieces of muscle decorating the wall behind her. Without another word, he walked away from her. He was able to get a few streets away before coughing up blood.

Equipment

Raziel's Power:

Lifeforce Violation: The user of this power shoots his own lifeforce into another person by simply pointing at them, rendering him/her immoble and causing them unimaginable pain. It's been known to pop eyes, break bones, cause limbs to move in ways they shouldn't, make muscles explode, and cause brain damage. Oh yes, and death.

The severity of this power depends on two things; how much lifeforce is used (the more the deadlier) and where the lifeforce is aimed.

Repercussions: Because this power uses his own lifeforce, Raizel will die slowly and painfully. He will lose each of the five senses one at a time before he dies. For most people with this power, they are generally given a timeframe of 5-6 years of life, depending on how much they use thier power. It is not uncommon for those who have this power to cough up blood after using it. In later stages, this gets much worse.

Raizel is still alive because he has not used his power at all since that day, relying solely on his stabbing abilities. Should he begin to use his powers once more, the clock will inevitably begin ticking once again.
