A city built on top of the dead, burial grounds for the innocent. A bone shaped like gods fist colliding with broken glass, spatter blood over asphalt and the pale faced witness. Evan clutches tight to the cable, a tight rope tango to the end of the line. Eyes burnt from sockets from endless tears and the gaping wounds that won't let go, won't let him free, paralyzing every false movement. He gasps, sucking in the tainted air until his lungs burst forth from open maw. Tinged with red, ilk gone to the war, he falls, and falls, until finally, mercifully he - wakes up.

Pretty face, shallow words, the kind of guy to bring you up just to tear you down. A living meathead with a real mean streak and not enough sense to stifle the anger in him. But he isn’t all bad, isn’t nearly as bad as he could be ya’know. An enigma really, a heads and tails livewire that’s waiting to be flipped. One side bad, one side good. A strange malformation in the way he thinks, because really, nobody should be able to switch between such highs and lows at a rapid pace like that. There’s meds for it, for sure but who says he wants to live the life of a zombie, caged in his own head with nothing but his own thoughts to torment him on the daily.
He takes after his mother they say, try and blame it on her like he isn’t the one in therapy for punching a kid hard enough to shatter bone. But things change, he's changed enough to be considered safe to society. Placed back among his peers, a wildfire waiting to ignite. He's got those issues worked through - mostly. Ask him, and he'll say "I had problems, now I have less." But less is still more than none. Being of an increasingly sound mind, he's lost some of that reckless heat. Has smothered the poison in his vein, taken the bite out of his words. No longer the kind of kid to avoid in the hallways. He's gained a pretty good thing, if only he could stop himself from bending the rules till they break.
He has a good head on his shoulders, an intelligence that speaks for itself but also a deep loneliness. Not entirely friendless, he does take great care in choosing his associates. People who are likely to make him fall back into old patterns are avoided at all costs. He keeps the company of the kind and spirited, the people who can teach him to be less for himself and more for others. He isn't unkind, not to the point that he is selfish, but he does have that small spark of pride hidden behind copper eyes that just refuses to go away. He's got his own agenda, and a way of taking charge even when he isn't specified as a leader. Commanding attitudes run in his bloodline, but sometimes, rarely he's willing to take the backseat. In the case of his friends, he's more than happy to be a follower.
